~a month and a half later~
-Masons POV-
Today I was gonna do it.
I was going to ask Niki out.
Currently me and Y/N were planning how i should do it at 3am, since Niki was already asleep.
"Ok so, I'll say I'm gonna check up on Dream and say he's he's or something- which I will so don't you dare chicken out whilst I'm not there- and during that time you will take her to the flower field half an hour away, I think you still remember right?"
"Of course, and then I ask her there. Well- tell her i like her and hope she likes me back."
"Mason, she does, 100%." She smiled.
"I'm gonna take your word for it, if she doesn't like me back it's your fault for saying she likes me 100%." I joked.

The next day we made our was to the flower field. The drive was around 40 minutes and we talked the whole time, my heart beating out of my chest.
I was gonna do it.
I was going to ask Niki to be my girlfriend.
When we got to the Flower field, I finally turned to her just to see her looking at me.
At the same time we said each other's names and then giggled.
"You go first." I said.
"Mason, I've uhm- I overheard the conversation you and Y/N had yesterday and I-"
Fuck.
My whole body felt numb and I froze up.
"I- I'm so sorry Niki- please- I- sorry this was a bad idea I- I'm so-"
"Mason!" She yelled, and i looked at her, since I've been looking around the whole time, just to not make eye contact. "I like you too."

Everything in me stopped.
"You do?"
She giggled. "Yeah, I do. And I have for such a long time. Since middle school, but i was too afraid to tell you."
We went silent.
"Mason-"
"Niki-"
We said at the same time again and giggled.
"Do you wanna be my partner/girlfriend?" We asked at the same time, and giggled.
I hugged her and smiled.
When i let go, we looked at each other for a moment, before leanint in into a nice, warm kiss.
It lasted long, but we sadly let go, and she hugged me.

After Y/N got back we told her how it went and she hugged and congratulated us.
Niki and me just smiled at each other, and from that day on, I could call Niki my girlfriend.

However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.
