"Come on, you can do it!" My friend, Mason, cheered as I rolled my eyes.
"No way. Have you seen that most the letters he gets are probably written by nine year olds. Guess what, I'm twenty." I leaned back against my chair.
"You are so lame." They paused for a moment. "Heyyyy- remember that one time in fifth grade when I helped you get that guys phone number? You still own me one. So, for me, write that dann letter!"
"I'm pretty sure you own me more. Plus that was in ." I said, turning around to look at them.
"Oh come onnnn- for Me?" They whined.
"Fine, If you stop being so annoying." I smiled and took out a piece of paper.
"Woah woah woah! Shouldn't you get drunk first before writing a letter?"
"One, no what the actual fuck? Two, I'm not writing a letter to Dream half drunk." I sighed, looking at her in disappointment.
"Fine, at least let me get drunk." They said, standing up and getting a bottle of something with the label "Vodka" out of her bag.
"Where'd you get that from? You're 20." I asked, standing up and taking the bottle.
"Oh, I have my ways, don't worry about that. What you should worry about, though, is how you write that damn letter!" She said, opening the bottle.
"You know, I'll never understand America. I got to drink alcohol at such a young age, and the legal age there is like- 16 or something." She was born in Germany just like me, and as he said, the legal age to drink alcohol there is 16. "Ah, never gets old." They said as they took a sip.

"Ask Biden or something, not me." I joked, taking my pen and starting to write.
Or better-
Holding my pen above the paper, waiting for words to appear on it.
"What do I write in a letter?"
"Uhh- start with something like Hi, or, Hello I don't know how to start this letter. That's how i always start mine." She said, standing up and walking over to me.
"First think of what you want to write. Do you wanna like- ask for something? Oh! Ask for a pic of Patches."
"I'm not-"
"Yes you are." they cut me off. "Also, add something about him being your inspiration to start- wait, he inspired you to start singing, right? Add that."
"You know my singing is shit."
"No its not, you sang on my birthday once."
"So did everyone else."
"I give up on you. God, you're worse than my ex."
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" I joked, earning a laugh from them.
~
After what felt like hours, I finally finished the letter. (Adding the Patches part for Masons satisfaction) I read it though a million times to make sure there weren't any spelling mistakes and made an origami-type envelope, using one of those envelope-sealer-things I had in green, with a rose print.
"Done." I said, holding it up.
"Great! Let's send it." She said, pulling my hand and practically dragging me out of the shabby apartment.
"Hey wait- were not doing this now are we? I haven't written down his P.O. box yet-"
"We're doing this now, Y/N, no going back! You'll write it when we get to the post office." She put her shoes on and so did I, right as I did that she took my wrist again and started pulling.

When we got to the post station Mason did all the talking needed, probably because there was a high chance I'd chicken out.
"Ok, here's a pen. Write down the address right there and yours right here. Where are you sending it to?" The woman behind the counter asked.
"Oh- uh- wait. " They took out their phone and checked for the address. Orlando Florida. The P.O. box is 10151 University Blvd, Suite 308, Orlando, FL 32817- dann that was a mouth full."
"Oh, that's not that far from here, so it won't cost you much. Around 3$."
"Really? Only?" I asked.
The woman nodded with a smile and went to the back, probably to get that sticker thingy.
"Ouuu, he probably doesn't live that far away if it's so close~" Mason smirked.
"Oh shut up."
Soon, the woman came back with a sticker. She picked it on and smiled. "Did one of you make the envelope? It looks really nice."
"Yeah, I did." I said.
"Beautiful. He should get it in around three to four days."
"Thank you, have a nice day!" Mason said.
"You two, Be careful!"
When we walked out I asked Mason "How did she know we were sending it to a guy?"
"Hm?"
"She said "he'll get it in around three to four days" or something."
"Probably a coincidence."

Noble
"Then, let joyous news be delivered to those who pass their lives in peace, For it takes only one twist of fate to throw their lives upside down And for those who unfortunate enough to encounter the whims of fate, Let it be reminded to them, that even their lives repeat a hundred times..." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lys Ravenlicht was no hero, nor was he a brave man. He was someone who had the better things in life and figured that he'd tread upon the path his late father had prepared for him as an appointed noble and a politician in his home country and he had no business whatsoever of being a hero. And yet, it took only one twist, one twist of fate, before all plans he had laid out for the rest of his life went down the tubes. Join him as he traverse the lands of Fymia, where the arcane had faded into the annals of time and yet persist in the most mundane of things. And as he found himself dragged deeper into a catastrophic series of events that would change his perception of the world, and the course of history for the world itself... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Author's comments: The story was meant to be a satire of the Japanese animanga tropes.... until it got out of hand to the point I'm not sure it's a satire anymore. I hope you can find enjoyment in it nonetheless.
