The bell rings and I walk towards my class.
I blast my music in my ears with an irritated look on my face.
The period goes by quickly and it's time for Mr. Servell's class.
I get to class early so I don't have a chance to run into LaMelo.
I place my head down on my desk and I let out a sigh.
The final bell rings and Mr.Servell walks into the classroom.
"You have your chapter test on unit three at the end of the week, so here is your study guides," Mr.Servell passes out a paper to everyone and I put my head up to look over it.
The study guide seems pretty simple and I think the test will be the same.
Jose brings his chair over to my desk and I smile at him.
Clarissa, who is seated next to me waves LaMelo over to us.
He hesitates before getting up out of his seat and walking up to us.
"Do you guys need help with any of the questions?" I asked while I do a problem on the paper.
No one answers so I assume that it's a no.
A few minutes pass and I complete the first page of the study guide.
"Can you help me with this problem Daya?" Clarissa asked.
Tracy laughs.
"The high and mighty Clarissa needs help with the math? Wow the worlds gonna end!" Tracy states sarcastically while doing your work.
"Uh, what's your problem?" Clarissa asked.
"I don't have a problem," Tracy says.
"You obviously do-"
"I don't just drop it before we have an issue!"
There is a silence that fills our group.
It's an awkward silence.
"Can I just get help with the question?" LaMelo asked.

Clarissa turns her attention to LaMelo and she helps him with the problem.

Mr. Servell tells us to go on our break and me, Jose, and Tracy walk ahead of the group.
This leaves LaMelo and Clarissa alone.
"I don't know why, but Clarissa is really starting to irritate me!" Tracy states as we walk down the stairs.
"Oh yeah, I couldn't notice!" Jose states with sarcasm written all in his voice.
I chuckle to myself and Jose looks at me blushing to himself.
"What?" I asked while shoving his shoulder.
Jose just looks at me and shakes his head.
"You're so pretty," is all he says before looking away from me.
"Haha...stop ew gag!" Tracy states before letting out a laugh.
"Y'all are making me realize how single I really am!" Tracy groans.
Jose laughs and I do the same.
"Well I'm single so..." I trail off.
Jose huffs and glances at me.
"Be my girlfriend?" He asked jokingly.
"Okay," I laugh.
"Alright babe!" Jose places an arm around my shoulder.
My heart starts to beat faster and I can feel my face heating up.
I can feel a pair of eyes on us and I turn to see a very pissed off LaMelo.
