《The Tutor | LaMelo Ball》𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟷𝟹

The next day I get ready for school.
I woke up late so I don't have time to do my makeup.
I put my hair in a messy bun and I throw on some jeans and a simple top along with some slides.
I run down the stairs and I grab a banana from the kitchen.
"Come on mom! I'm going to be late!" I yell up the stairs.
My mom opens her room door before coming slowly down the stairs.
As we drive to my school, it seems like the whole world is moving slowly.
Come on, I'm not trying to have a tardy!
We sit at a red light and I tap my fingers on the door.
"Calm down, Daya, it's only a tardy!" My mom says sensing my frustration.
————
I rush up the stairs to my first period class and I open the classroom door.
The whole class is completely silent and as I open the door all eyes are on me.
Stop looking at me please! I think to myself.
I literally hate being the center of attention!
I sit in my seat and then the teacher restarts the lesson.
After first period I eat lunch and make my way to my second period.
"Aye, we have a math quiz tomorrow, here is a review sheet and a study guide. The worksheet is due at the end of the period, keep the study guide to study!" Mr.Servell states while passing out the papers.
As on cue, LaMelo and Jose bring chairs over to us.
"Daya, I need your help with number five!" Jose says.
"Hold on, let me try to do it!" I reply while working on number five.
"I got 1,036!" Clarissa states while working on another question.

I nod my head agreeing with her.
"Yeah, I got that too!" Tracy states.
"Okay, just making sure I'm not tripping!" Jose states while smiling at me.
I smile back at him.
————
Hours later, Mr.Servell gives us a thirty minute break.
Me and the gang all walk to the cafeteria but the doors are locked.
"Oh no," I groan. "It is way too hot to be out here in this heat."
"No, I actually think it's pretty cold out here!" LaMelo says sarcastically.
I mock him and he laughs.
"I feel like the sun is attracted to darker colors! The struggle is real!" I state.
"I know right, us black people have to sit here while the sun is beaming all up on us!" LaMelo states causing me to look at him sideways.
"You're not black, LaMelo!" Tracy states while rolling her eyes.
"Yes I am, stop hating on me because you wanna be black!" LaMelo says defensively.
———
After school I walk with Tracy and Clarissa to the parking lot.
My mom is there already and I say goodbye to the both of them.
As I walk to my car I see LaMelo walking towards it too.
"Hey Mrs.D! Can I come over so me and Daya can study for our quiz together?" LaMelo asked walking up to my moms window.
"Sure sweetie, anytime!" My mom replies while smiling at LaMelo.
"Thank you so much Mrs.D!" LaMelo states happily while getting in the back seat of my moms car.
We make it to my house and my mom starts cooking dinner.
Me and LaMelo go up to my room because my mom is making too much noise and listening to music making it impossible to work.

Galactic Economics
Humanity enters the galaxy and makes First Contact, only to begin to realize that not everything is at it seems. It appears that the galactic alien community has forgotten to invent some rather important economic concepts that human civilization has taken for granted. This is a look at a hypothetical galactic scale barter economy, how that would work, or how as one of our main characters Sarah realizes... it doesn't. And as the galaxy falls apart at the seams, it's up to the best and brightest in humanity to put things back together. Story contains a lot about markets, logistics, development, and the best and worst of human history. Not so much Space Marines nuking aliens. If you enjoyed the trade negotiations and Senate politics in the Star Wars prequels, and wished that there was an entire standalone story consisting solely of those parts, this might be for you! Galactic Economics is also posted on reddit here.

The overgrown mansion
The main character returns to her deceased recluse uncle's home to get his effects in order. This is the beginning of a lovecraftian story inspired by somebody telling me about the Brombeermonster, a particulary nasty blackberry shrub overtaking her family's abandonned home. A backdrop for a story about eery and unexplained things if I ever heard about one. I will post the two parts I already posted on reddit; more maybe if there is interest from the community.

Papercuts to Fell Immortals
Qing Shen is a girl from the counrtyside, forced into a role she never wanted by a Young Master who's infamy is spread throughout the land. As a Cultivator in the path to immortality, Qing Shen has to deal with her own problems as well as the mysteries surrounding her Young Master. Things, however, are not as they seem, and the young girl finds that sometimes the truth is more unbelievable than the lies we often follow. . . . If you want a less hidden-meaning summary: This story is about the struggles of one girl as she tries to become an Immortal. There won't be any meaningful romance, but there will be a plot that spans most of the story, and violence. Oh the violence! I'm not going to say that my ideas are 100% original (because hoo boy are there a lot of Wuxia), but hopefully I can write something entertaining. Guaranteed things: 1. Cliche events with a twist (I mean, it's literally in the description) 2. Important Characters will have backstories and motivations that will hopefully make them not one-dimensional (honestly, that's just normal stuff...) 3. Untrustworthy characters (everyone in the story lies, even me, so don't trust everything you read... but at the same time, trust everything you read) 4. Goodish grammar (not gonna say mine's the best, but it's readable in most cases) 5. Plot! (Everywhere!) 6. worldbuilding? (Should be there somewhere, but I probably won't do blatant info dumps... probably) 7. Character development? (Its there... at some point...) 8. The story gets dark at some points (if you don't like characters dying, then this might not be your cup of tea) 9. A strong main character? (She'll be strong, yes. However, her enemies are also strong. If everyone is strong, then is she no longer strong? My brain hurts) 10. Wow, this list is going on for awhile... uh, Believable and reasonable Action? (I mean, I'm writing for mainly my fun, so if I want a fight scene, then I might craft a scenario to explain it... or I might suddenly throw in a Dragon and call it a day) This story also goes by the same name over on Webnovel.com, but I'm going to be updating it here because, well I want to. They are both by me, and created by me. If there's anything that seems like a copy of another work, then that's just the genre being saturated by everything under the sun.

The Brotherhood Archive:Crossroads(Revised)
All people great or small have a story - Patriarch Lord Theris'Heron Soletus, was on the verge of becoming a warden in the Dias Brotherhood until his father holds him back. Instead of proving his skill with culling monsters that plague the land, he is given an assignment different assignment. It isn't one that test doesn’t test his physical strength, but his strength of character. He is paired up with a shy and traumatized boy name Mien. Between Mien’s anxious behavior and the crime he committed, Soletus doesn’t know what to do or what to think. He wasn’t trained for the duty he is performing and has no idea if he is doing the right thing. However, when Soletus’s resolve to help starts to waiver, Mien does something unexpected and Soletus decides that the boy deserves a second chance not as an act of duty but as a friend. Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence. Then one day, a drug addled elf comes into infirmary and changes his perspective of a friend and puts his knowledge to the tests to figure out a mystery effecting children in town. *Spoiler warning* Kiao's POV- Kiao spent most of her time in the infirmary living the same daily secret filled life and until Mien changed it. Now she has to figure out her future in ways she never thought she would. I'm going for a Tues and Thurs day schedule for the re-upload. I may or may not stick in extra days.
