I walked to Jalen's room.

"COUSINNN" I yelled as I entered. He shushed me real quick as he answered the phone.

I stood there and waited impatiently. "Now you may speak" He said as he hung up on whoever called him.

"Your bestie wants to hang out with me today so I'm leaving u by urself" I ripped the 'band aid' right off.

His jaw dropped. "You're not hanging out with my BEST FRIEND. I won't allow it" He shrugged.

I rolled my eyes. "Well guess what I'm not gonna do. Listen to YOU. I'ma hang with him and you're not gonna stop me" I smiled and walked away. I heard him mutter something under his breathe but I ignored him and changed.

Josh arrived fast so I left quick. He pulled up in a blue dodge charger (I love them shits)

"WOAHHH you a big baller!!!" I said as I sat on the passenger's side.

He laughed and started playing music. We sat quietly enjoying the song's that were playing until I said something.

"Tell me about yourself kid"

At first, he gave me a confused look, then he started talking.

"Well... um you already know my name; I've been in the NBA for 2 years with Jalen. I love me some Kayne West, goldfish are my favorite animals. I like learning tik tok dances, my favorite colors are orange and blue... I don't know what else to say.. OU i love kids"

"ayo?-" I joked. He sucked his teeth. "You know what I mean" I laughed, and he smiled.

"You know my name already. I used to play ball but after the reck I stopped but I played for the warriors for... who Know's how long. My favorite colors are red and black. I'm apart of OTF, I love J. Cole and Polo g tbh they are the best rappers ever. My favorite number is 14 and um... Yeah idk" I nervously chuckled.

"I feel like once we get more comfortable with each other we will learn a lot more"

I pulled up to McDonald's with Jada and we decided to get our food to go.

"Wanna make a tik tok?" She asked as we waited in line.

"Yeah, go for it" I replied. She played the "hit you w da Blick" Song and I came in. Once we did the reverse thing, she accidentally rubbed her ass against my yk what. I don't think she noticed so I didn't say anything.

I did notice that Lamelo was all blowing her up. I wonder if their a thing still.

"So do you have a boyfriend?" We moved up the line.

"Nah. I wish. But honestly, I don't have time for that. I'm trying to focus on changing myself as a person before I worry about a relationship" She spoke facts.

"If you did have a boyfriend, would it be Lamelo again?" I probably should've minded my business, but I was curious.

She looked at me, then at the menu, then back at me. "I... Don't know. I haven't thought about that yet. Like as of now you know we have something going on but... being official? That's a lot to ask for-"

I nodded my head because I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable with all the questions. We ordered our food and waited for them to call our number.

"GAYYYTTT" She semi yelled. I busted out laughing cause people was staring.

"What ?!" I whispered to her cause I had no clue why she said that.

"Look at that man's toes. Them shits gripping on them sandles for dear life" She pointed to a guy across the room.

When I saw them, I started howling. Some old guy next to us shushed us but we didn't care we just kept laughing.

"NUMBER 48" The cashier yelled. Jada went and grabbed our food so we walked outside.

We sat in my car and ate while talking. I realized I got comfortable quick with her. She's funny, kind, caring, all in 1. I really hope her and Lamelo aren't a thing because.... man
