"Melo STILL didn't ask you to be his girl yet?"

I was too busy putting my books away in my locker to answer Vin. I close my locker shut and turned to her.

"Nope and i ain't rushing him either. We are in a good place right now Vin and I don't wanna ruin that." I replied, making my way towards the parking lot.

"Hey Scar?! Wait up for me!" Vin winces, jogging up to catch up to me.

"Why don't you care about this?" Vin asks

I stopped walking and turned to her.

"Vin look... I really like Melo, I do. I would LOVE to be his girlfriend but if he's not ready to ask me then I ain't finna force it..."

Vin puts her hands up signaling me thats she's gonna let it go. I thanked her with a nod and we continued to walk out to the parking lot.

I was sitting on the outside tables with the yerm waiting for Vin and Scar to come out. I usually wait for her to get out of class but Vin really needed to "talk" to her about sum. I didn't ask her what about cause I didn't really care at the time.

Everyone was talking amongst themselves while I was on my phone. All of a sudden I felt a tap on my arm, I looked up from my phone to see it was Ray.

"So... When you gonna ask Scar out?" Ray asks me with a big ass smirk on his face.

The whole squad turn their attention towards me waiting for my answer. I told my brush and started brushing my waves.

"I mean ain't we basically together?" I asked.

The whole yerm gasps at me, I looked at they asses confused. Gelo walks over to me and hits me on my arm. I started rubbing the area he hit and glared at him.

"Nigga you know girls love that official shit, don't play dumb now." Gelo scowls.

I got up from the table and face the squad.

"Fine. You niggas got any ideas?"

Will puts his two fingers up signally that he got something.

"I gotta idea... How about you just ask her? Don't have to be a big ass way just ask her to go on a date with you."

All the boys agreed with Will and so did I.

"Shh, y'all here they come." Ray points out.

Everyone got quiet real quickly, I sat back down where I was sitting and just went back on my phone like nun happened. As I felt their presence coming, I locked my phone and put it in my jean pocket.

Scar walked up to me with a smile on, I know I was smiling hard as fuck right now.

I approached her by grabbing her waist, bring her close to me. She puts her arms around me, pulls away to give me a kiss on the cheek.

Scar and I never really kissed in front of the yerm yet but we kiss everywhere else. I want mfs to know that she mine period, that this all me right here. Niggas in Chino don't know how to act, that's why I be smacking them niggas.

I placed Scar in between my legs and had my full attention on to her.

"So how was class?" I asked her.

The last hour was her most favorite class, music. This girl had pipe on her but she don't like to show that off.

She looks up to me and smiles before speaking.

"It was good, remember that project I was telling you about?"

I thought about it for a second before nodding my head.

"Yeah the one you was stressing over and I told you that you finna ace it? I remember" I smirked

She rolls her eyes playful and hits me lightly on the arm.

"Yes, that one. I aced it!" she says excitedly

I pull her in for a hug and give her a big kiss on her lips.

"I'm proud of you baby, told you that you was finna ace that shit."

"Thank you for believing in me."

I put a curl behind her ear and look deeply in her eyes.

"I'll always believe in you princess."

We was about to move into another kiss but Gelo clearing his throat ruined the moment.

"Sorry to ruin y'all moment but school over and we ready to go."
