Fred sat at the table, eating his dinner as he glanced down the table. He glanced at his brother, Ron, eyes stopping at Harry's mop of black locks.
Taking a bite of his potatoes, Fred's eyes were still on Harry.
He watched as the young boy laughed at something Hermione said, and Ron rolled his eyes playfully, making some sort of comment.
Fred's lips gave a small smile, watching as Harry took a bite of his roll before getting elbowed playfully by Ron.
Ron quickly met his brother's eyes. Ron soon connecting the dots— for what seemed like the first time in his life.
Ron smirked, raising an eyebrow at Fred.
Fred blushed bright red.
Ron then tapped Harry's shoulder, making Harry look at him. He then whispered something in his ear, and pointed at Fred.
Fred then saw Harry blush, his beautiful eyes looking his direction.
Fred quickly shot his head downwards, looking at his dinner.
"Fred?" George asked, staring at his brother in confusion.
"Dang it." Fred whispered to himself, shoveling a spoonful of mashed potatoes in his mouth.
George let it go, and went back to his food.
Fred quickly swallowed his food, and glanced back in Harry's direction.
He saw Harry write something in a parchment, and then getting Hermione to charm it.
The letter floated gracefully, and made its way to Fred.
Fred gently touched the letter, opening it.
Inside was a sentence.
Fred breathed, "Wow."
He then looked at Harry, catching his eyes. Fred gave him a solid nod.
Harry cracked a grin.
"Wait. So thats what that letter was about!" Hermione exclaimed, watching as George gave her a nod.
"I didn't think they acted on those crushes!" Ron said, a little surprised. George rolled his eyes.
"I seriously stated that they liked each other. I'm pretty sure they did act in those feelings Ron." He said.
Ginny sat on the couch, legs up to her chest.
"Ginny?" Her mother asked softly.
"I-I dated a gay man!" She squeaked.
"You say that like it's a bad thing." Hermione said, a little questioningly.
"Shut up!" Ginny snapped, turning red in the face.

Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.

Unprotected Sects
When freshly-graduated Dr. Selva Imroth accepted a short job from her former doktormutter, she had expected to interview a few PhD washouts and write a report to the Dean. Unfortunately for Selva, everything in her life has to be an ordeal. Updates every weekday, but not on the weekend. I hadn't planned on doing NaNoWriMo, but then on Halloween night I was sharing an old plot bunny with a new friend and realized, "oh shit I can actually use this." So, here we are. Thanks, friend. In true NaNoWriMo fashion, I will not be using my typical editing process here, and will instead simply vomit words onto your screen as quickly as possible, trying valiantly to avoid asking myself "oh my god who CARES" because tangents are important to wordcount. A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats.Cover doesn't belong to me.Cross-published on two other sites*Undergoing heavy editing, nothing plot-wise is changing, I am only editing grammar, mechanics, vocabulary, sentence variation, and formatting and overall I am just making it a more pleasant and refined read :) I am also deleting the A/Ns at the beginning and end of each chapter
