It's the end of spring and I just have to pack my carry on for tonight's flight to Japan. My luggage is already in the car while mom and dad are trying to collect our passports. The only things I need in my hand bag is my sketch book, art pouch, laptop, wallet, my soft black sweater, and headphones. Since our flight is at midnight, there's just enough time to go to the Bakery.

"Um, Hello may I have a Rose cupcake please, thank you."I asked the young lady behind the register.

I really hope that Japan have something similar to the shop here. As long as me and my parents are happy there then I can live with that. I've been in there till it was going to close so I bought another cupcake and walked back to the apartment.

It's past ten and my mom woke me up while dad was waiting in the car. So I put on my boots, took my bag, and then stopped at the front of the door to remember the memories I had here in New York.

Once more I smiled and said out loud " Goodbye".

"Are you ready sweetheart?"mom asked with a smile on her face.

"Ya let's go." As I closed the door. I walked downstairs with my headphones on as usual. I peacefully closed my eyes, and took a deep breath outside then went to the car. We arrived at the airport at eleven, so it will give use enough time to check in. Since my parents are pretty famous, we get to go on a privet plane. I find it exciting because it's my first time on a plane. When I first walked in I felt the breeze blowing my face. Luckily I have my warm sweater to keep me warm during the flight. It was bright inside, had switches to control the temperature or the lights, and had separate tables that extend. I also met the pilots.

My parents stayed at the front while I take the back. While they were talking about work, I turned off my phone and unpacked my sketch book and pouch. As always it would be better to listen to music while drawing because my imagination burst more then not having music. So far is pretty good I got to use my phone and get to eat a well served meal which was better then I thought.

"Hanako sweetie, get some rest okay?"Dad told me in a peaceful voice. After that, I just smiled and nodded.

Hours have past and the sun started to wake up. While morning was coming along. I started to see land, and started smiling big because now my new life begins today. We started packing up while landing. I took my bag and put on my headphones on.

Slowly the pilot stopped me and gave me a pin which had their plane symbol on it, then they all bowed for me and said "thank you" in Japanese. Luckily I learned the language about five years ago, or else I'd be confused as ever. We took our belongings and checked out.

When I got out it was pretty warm since summer is here, so I took off my sweater. Come to think of it, it was my first time stepping into my new world. As we got into the car we turned on the AC and headed out to our new home. I still have a good feeling about this so all we have to do is to enjoy our first day in our new home...
