The blunet could only just stared at him, his pale blue eyes shining in embarrassment and in flattery? He wasn't sure but seeing the redhead said something as bold and firm in front of the public was something that he was least expecting.
sadly it wasn't enough to convince him.
Saying something boldly in public wasn't enough to make him realize that he really meant it when he spoke loudly of it.
He always thought that Akashi moved on from their problem and found someone better, someone who was more obedient and handsome than him. But he thought wrong as he heard the humorless laughter of the black-haired behind her small podium.
He didn't listened what she was saying but he knew one thing that the redhead was glaring daggers at Kurosaki. In between her lines, there was another meaning that made his former act so possessive about him.
Just like three years ago.
He knew he was possessive but not that possessive. Akashi gave the hostess another hateful glare before returning back to his seat and sighed in slight defeat.
By the simple action, Kuroko shook his head as he was brought back into reality once more. "Are you alright?" He knew he didn't need to asked him but he couldn't help himself somehow.
Akashi gave a blank stare while nodding his head and eventually smile at the blunet. "I'm alright now Tetsuya, enjoy the cake." When the words left his lips he grabbed his untouched fork and began cutting the shortcake and bit the small piece when it reached his pink lips.
The blunet nodded his head as he looked down to see the infamous desert of Grace, it looked like it was made by simple perfection. The vanilla shortcake has two small silver streams of angel wings; one at the top and the other bottom sides with frosted looking doves forming at least three crosses at the middle of the wings with a vanilla covered glaze at the top.
And surprisingly it had black sprinkles on the top of the glaze. It was simple lovely to look at and appetizing to eat.
As Kuroko cut his cake he was surprised to see the color inside the cake in a golden yellow that appeared to be like a sponge with white lines dividing it in three parts. He gingerly cut a small portion of the cake and brought it to his think pale lips and bit into the desert.
He involuntarily let out a pleasurable moan that made Akashi snapped up to stared at him, helding back the pools of lust that soon to be flooding on his mismatched orbs. When the blunet what he had down he looked away with a nice shade of pink covering his cheeks.
"Delicious?" The redhead asked with a teasing smile. "Scrumptious." The blunet corrected shyly as he went back eating his shortcake.
It was basically the solid version of his beloved vanilla milkshake. The name was perfect for it, heavenly and did a huge favour for the customer to enjoy the likable desert; no wonder it was popular.
The twins couldn't help but snickered to themselves when they read something in their mistress's phone. The gingrt and the blonde woman just simply ignored them as they continue to eat their lunch.

The restaurant's food was extremely delicious and Alex wonder why she haven't noticed this place before. "Um excuse could you call that lady over there to come her for moment?" The american woman asked when a black-haired waiter pass by their table while carrying a tray of drinks expertly.
The one of the twins looked up and was left with his mouth hanging. "Yashida!" The said man turned his head when his named was call.
He looked to see who was calling him but no one caught his attention quickly so he went back placing the drinks and bowed in excused as he left the table that was a few feet away from where the twins were. The younger nudged his brother and whispered hastily in his ears.
The older brother's brown eyes widen as he sat up straight. He looked around like his brother did and spotted someone he long before knew.
"Yashida!" There goes again, the said waiter turned his body around as he scanned the fairly big and unfortunately crowded room. When his eyes landed to someone staring up at him, he felt himself gulped in dreaded disbelief.
He tapped Kurosaki's shoulder who was just sitting on a very small chair behind her podium and a bit absorbed on her pocketbook she just bought recently. When Yashida didn't hear her respond to what he was doing, he only did the most cruel way he can towarss her.
He snatched the book from her unguarded hands. The second the book disappeared from her line of sight she let out a small whine and stuck her bottom lip out and crossed her arms childishly.
"I was getting to where Sasuke confesses his heart-wrenching undying love to Tsuna I was seriously calling dibs on his proposal!" Yashida rolled his eyes at her. He has known her since before highschool and yet until now he couldn't stand the complaints.
Like it wasn't to get used to.
"Ja-chan I've read the book. After Sasuke proposed to Tsuna, Kaze decided to take his plan into action and that lead him in prison, Tsuna in a coma and Sasuke almost arrested because he attempted to burn down the whole Mitsouka company." He said in a bored tone. The woman could only stared at him in surprised and betrayal.
"Should I call you Okama-kun now?" That was the only that slipped from her lips resulting her getting a deadly glare but not as deadly as the redhead's. " My ex, before we broke up literally that book in my face because she wanted me to read something about how cliche endings in love story can have a twist in their own in the beginning." He explained witb another roll of his eyes.
Kurosaki let out a sigh, "Thanks a lot for killing my mood." She said. "So why are you bothering me again? My twenty-minute isn't up yet." She asked as she snatched the book from his hands and let out a sad whine while reading the summary.
"Haven't you by any chance noticed that Shota and Sota are here?" He asked as he crossed his arms waiting for an reaction from the lady but didn't get what he had expected. "Of course, They're Akashi-nee's stalkers for the day or Kuroko-kun's?" She hummed at the end as she placed her chin on her palmed that was rested on her knee.

"And you never bothered talking to them why?" He drawled out with his eyebrow raised. "It's been a decade or lower Maku, The twins took them half an hour to realized who I am and plus fifteen minutes to realized you were here too. Now go away you spoiler, Akashi-nee's table needs their paycheck in the next three minutes." She said while motioning for him to leave her be, she already about it.
It's a nuisance to hear it again.
"Alright! I'm going! I'm going!" Yashida said with his arms raised in surrender and he slowly walked away from the hostess and went to the opposite direction.
"Akashi-kun... " The soft, but gentle voice of the blunet echoed softly in his eardrums. Akashi looked up from his phone to see his former lover looking down blankly with the almost empty plate of the infamous desert i have front of him.
"Yes Tetsuya?" Akashi asked as he hid his phone and shoved it in his slack's pocket. "I can't finish the desert... " It was below a quiet whisper and fortunately the redhead heard it.
"Of course you can Tetsuya, you only have the Grace's light lunch meals excluding the creme shake that you already finished. Here... " The redhead stood up from his seat and repositioned his chair so that it was close to the blunet's chair's side. He grabbed the remaining portion which was a bit large but not that large nor was it too small.
He grabbed the fork from the side and cut a large portion that was twice the size that Kuroko usually cut and place it near the blunet's lips. "Open your mouth Tetsuya, you don't want to waste such a nice desert right?" He said as he smiled warmly at the slight reluctance of his former butler.
"I'm full... " Kuroko whispered softly and it was the perfect time to place the small fork in. A little force he added and was successful that the blunet's didn't got hurt by the sudden movement.
Akashu let go of the fork and placed his intertwined hands on the table with a victorious smile. Kuroko slightly frowned between the metal utensil in his mouth as he removed the fork and swallowed down the slightly large piece of the shortcake.
"That kind of hurt you know." The blunet mumbled softly as he gave the fork to the redhead who impaled another large portion of cake. Akashi hummed but didn't say anything as he peck Kuroki's closed lips with the delicious fluffy cake.
This time he was willing to open his mouth and finished it. All he need was a little push, when the remaining portions have finally been eaten.
It was the right tine that their waiter came back with the checked in hand. The blunet protested that he should pay his own food but was completely ignoredby his former master as he handed Yashida his credit card and a tip for both him and Kurosaki.
With a thankful smile he left the two to themselves. Kuroko had disapproving frown on his face as he twisted the loose threads of his button down.
"You know, you didn't have to do that." He uttered as he avoided eye contact with the redhead. you know I can't let you pay since I was the one who asked you to have lunch with me so basically I'll cover for both of our meals." Akashi retorted and the blunet's frown deepens just by a twitch.
"What a true gentleman your are Akashi-kun." It wasn't in a form of sarcasm but in a for utter amaze, a good compliment that suited the redhead. The redhead simply smiled at that genuinly before returning his seat at it's rightful position.
He almost forget that he was suddenly too close to his former lover that he almost kissed his cheek in gratitude. But a man could dream couldn't he?
"Do you want me to dropped you off on Alexandra's apartment?" After saying goodbye to the nerdy looking Kurosaki who gave a knowing look at Kuroko and a wink at Akashi. They were currently in the car, the engine roaring to life every few seconds of so as the redhead tilted his head to see the looked on the blunet's face.
"Um, could you dropped me off in this address... " He trailed as he tried to recalled the said address and thankfully enough he remembered it after so long. Akashi nodded his head and pulled the car out of it's parking space and headed to the main road.
Nothing but the sound of the car's engine roaring to life, the vibrations bouncing off in the vehicle and the sweet melodic music playing in the background. It's wasn't awkward like the first time they have went inside the car together.
It felt like
He couldn't hell but thought of it like that. It reminded him of the mansion that he worked for in approximately seven months, a little before this very day.
If he didn't reacted like what he did three years ago will things have gone better for them? Will their relationship before have escalated to the next level, a more loving and stronger relationship?
He furrowed his eyebrows together on the possible what if's surging through his mind. He could only hope he made the right decision.
"uya... Tetsuya..." The said man shook his head when somebody brought him back to reality once more. He finally noticed that he was staring at the window in nothing particular and a slightly large but warm hand was clasped onto his shoukders; squeezing him in a comforting way.
The blunet turned around and looked at the redhead who was smiling in some emotion he sadly couldn't decipher. "We're here now... Tetsuya I hope we'll see each again, goodbye and take care of yourself." Akashi said with a little hesitation in his tone after Kuroko finally exited from the car.
"Yeah, take care Akashi-kun." He said with small smile, a barely visible one as the said man gave another glance and sped off leaving the blunet behind in front of white two-story building.
