Three years.

For the past three years, The pale man never realized how long he was away until Ogiwara and the other butlers surprised him with a party of his staying. As usual he wasn't much surprised but held a happy twinkle in his sky blue orbs and his face blank as always.

"Kuroko. . ." "Kuroko. . . " Two identical twin butlers whined as they popped their heads by the door in unison. They looked around to see Ogiwara and Alex playing chess but so far no blunet butler.

"Have you seen Kuroko?" Both brunets whined again before their heads disappeared by the door and footsteps echo in the halls of the American mansion. The blonde women looked at the ginger with a raised eyebrow but he only raised his arms in defense as he shook his head no.

"Kuroko! Kuroko!" The twins' voices echoed through the halls before the heard a barking sound. Both of them looked at each other before they ran as they followed the sound of the pale man's puppy.

"Nigou!" They shouted as they burst through the door. They eyed the little black and white puppy before they scanned the room once more.

"Shota, I'm getting tired of chasing after Kuroko" The younger twin grumbled, his face colliding with the soft white pillow of their bed. The said twin nodded in agreement before their door creaked open.

The older brunet shook his brother to sat up as the door opened wider slowly revealing the butler they've been searching for. He walked in the room with Nigou wrapped around his arms, just in front of his chest.

He didn't change much, his eyes were still a pale blue and his teal hair gone shorter and looked more of a professional model would have, his skin as always pale and flawless similar to his face. He wore a simple white short-sleeved polo and blank jeans with his black sneakers.

"KUROKO!" The twins yelled as they jumped off the bed and ran towards him for a hug, ever since they've met. The twins felt like the blunet was like an older brother they never have much to the older twin's protest that he was awfully offended by his brother.

The twins hugged each other instead of the pale man. They pulled away and scanned their room to see Kuroko sitting quietly on their bed with Nigou snuggling on his lap, contented and felt sleepy as it closed its eyes and snuggled for the body heat of it's owner.

"Meanie~" The Sasaki twins grumbled as they both stomped their feet and crossed their arms over their chest in unison but the blunet didn't noticed their childish behaviors at all as he combed the Siberian husky's fur just above it's stomach.

"Kuroko" Ogiwara called out as he went inside the twins' room as well. The said man looked up with his big sky blue eyes before removing Nigou from his lap, finally noticing that the brunet butlers were doing Aikado with each other ignoring the older man's gaze.

"Yes Ogiwara-kun?" He said as he stood in front of him. He felt slight envy because the ginger was taller than him probably about four inches or so, at least he was taller than the Sasaki twins as they stood two inches lower than him.

But he wouldn't show that certain emotion towards people who have gifted heights.

"Lady Alex has something to tell you" He said as he gestured him to follow him to the library where the blonde was waiting for them. Kuroko nodded before closing the door behind him and followed his childhood friend to the other side of the mansion.

Alex looked up with a soft smile as she gestured Kuroko to sit at the chair that the Ginger sat minites ago whwn thwy played chess a while back. "Don't get mad Tetsuya alright?" The blonde smiled worriedly as she reached out to grabbed his hand.

Kuroko just tilted his head with slight interest in his eyes but that was the only thing that was breakibg through his blank face. The american woman cleared her throat before looking at Kuroko again with a apologetic smile.

"You'll be coming with me back to Japan"

"You did what?!" The ginger was in rage, ever since the first week that his childhood friend stayed in America. He swore that he'll do what ever it takes to make the blunet forget about the memories he had spent on that Mansion.

Especially, that Redheaded man he called himself the 'red emperor'

"I'm sorry okay?! I didn't know it was that bad I thought-since he's been away for so long I thought he would forget about the you know. . ." Ogiwara only gave her a hard stare which made her squirming in her seat since it was about a week since the talk about going back. Kuroko just calmly excused himself and locked himself in his room.

The Sasaki twins would always walked pass his door and tried to talked to him but it always end up them without an answer. Even Nigou was scratching the door for his master's presence, a puppy frown everytime he gave up on him.

"You could've consulted me about it since I know what he thinks and acts since we were in diapers" The tall butler spat out, him trying his hardest to not get his emotions dominating his actions. The blonde sighed sadly as she slouched on her seat, a bit ashamed of her sudden actions.

"I'm sorry Shigehiro I didn't mean it, but Kaito and his staff really miss having him around and I already planed a ticket of us going three days before Seijurou's birthday" She mumbled out the last part nervously as she looked at the window instead of her second favorite butler.

Ogiwara reaised his eyebrow, this was something that Alex would do if she wanted to help even if it leads to a lot of disagreements. "Who's ?" The ginger asked after a few minutes making his mistress uncomfortable and squirming her seat like she committed murder.

"Um-Me,you, Tetsuya and the Sasaki twins" She answered as she produced a handkerchief from her pen skirt pocket and swept the sweat that was dripping down her forehead. The Tall butler hummed as he processed everything in their conversation.

"How about Nigou?" He asked. "Oh Nigou will also come with us but he has to be collared and in a cage" She explained before a tall brunet came in after he knocked as he went inside.

"Lemon honey tea as requested" He said before excusing himself and shut the door closed. "Thank you Reiji" She said before he closed the door as she took a sip of her ice tea.

"Do you want some Shigehiro?" She asked after pouring herself another glass. The said man shook his head before discussing some other things.

The beeping sounds of the blunet's cellphone was the only thing he heard inside his dim-lighted room. Soon it became vibrating which annoyed him the slightest but sighed as he sat up and grabbed his phone from his night table.

He squinted a bit by the light that goes on and on before he unlocked it as he flipped it open. "Hello?" He said plainly before he heard some shuffling sounds at the other side of the call.

"Tetsu-chan!" That made the blunet smiled faintly as he heard the sound of his father. "It's nice to hear you again" He said honestly before Kuroko sighed as he swayed his legs to the side of the bed.

"Same to you Father, so what do you want?" He asked bluntly. It's been a while since he last heard of him probably five months ago or so.

"I've heard you're coming back to Japan I'm excited to see you son!" The older Kuroko said with giddy laugh. Kuroko raised his eyebrows before clutching on his bedK sheets with slight force.

"How did you know?" He asked dumbly which made his father hummed a bit. "Your Mother, She told me that Kaito called her that you'll be coming back to Japan in a month or something like that Oh Tetsu-chan you're mother and grandmother misses you" He said sadly at the last part.

But in Kuroko's mind he was a bit stunned that Alex goes this far to let his parents involved indirectly. "Are both of them fine?" He asked after their conversation about his father's job and whatsoever.

"Of course, both healthy and misses their little Tetsu-chan!" The black haired Kuroko laughed and groaned in an instant. The younger Kuroko heard the faints words of his mother scolding him about something since they were muffled by the older man's hand probably.

"Tetsu-chan" That was his mother. Kuroko stiffened a bit by how calm she was, she was never for some things but it doesn't make her crazy either.

"Mother" Kuroko followed her tone which made her mother giggled giddily just like her husband a few moments ago. "Tetsu-chan I'm so excited to see you again! My little baby! I wished I was their on your wedding!".

That made Kuroko dropped his phone in horror. Yes, he was young, kind and handsome but to him it felt like he's too young to do this.

Wedding.

A slight shiver ran down his spine when he thought of it but in a way he always wanted a wedding in field of their favorite flowers blooming, a great scenery behind them and the people who have been there in their life of happiness and sorrow.

"Oh my gosh I mean birthday! That was silly of me" She giggled awkwardly when she realized what she has done. It wasn't her intention to say it but she got carried away in their own memory lane conversation.

"It's fine, I'm too young for that right now" She heard him say at the other side of the call. The older man scoffed silently when he heard that, too young yeah right he's 27 for crying out loud that was he had in mind when he heard it from his son.

"So Tetsu-chan I wanted to say be careful on your travel and I'm going to cry when I see you at the airport" Then the call went dead as Kuroko placed his phone on his nightstand. He thought about it for a moment before bringing his knees in front of his chest.

He was scared to see him and the last time he saw him was the day he heard the news that Araki and him's engagement were through a year after he was gone. He was relieved and the same time feeling sorry for the engagement.

Was it hard for him to move on? In Ogiwara's opinion yes it was when Kuroko opened up to him a year ago but to him it was easy since their relationship lack trust. That was the only thing that was stopping him from falling for another.

Trust.

"-e won't mind about I mean surely he has-" Alex was interupted mid-sentence when there was a knock on the door. Alex looked at Ogiwara who was smirking knowingly.

But when he caught his mistress looking at him he made a blank look and jerked his head to the side to let that person in. "Come in" She said loudly for the person at the other side to hear.

The door slid open revealing the man in their topic. He stood there with a happy Nigou and grinning Sasaki twins behind him. "What is it Tetsuya?" She asked when she gestured for him to come closer.

"I've come to a decision that I'll go with you" He said simply which made Alex stood up from her seat and ran to hug her favorite butler for three years. "You don't know how happy I am to hear that! Thank you Tetsuya for your cooperation we will be leaving in a month" She said as she pulled away from her hug and grinned to her butlers.

They all nodded with a smile on their faces and a happy bark from the husky. Kuroko just nodded with a plain look but in his mind.

Was it worth the risk?

"Don't worry Kuroko, I'll be by your side when we get there" Ogiwara reassured him as he ruffled his hair affectionately. Kuroko nodded with a faint smile as he looked at Ogiwara in gratitude.
