Different town but all are so similar,
but I also have no clue where I am.
These past five years I've been homeless.. and starving. I eat once or twice every three weeks but that's about it.
'What was that?' I thought...
"And never come back!!!"
Yelled a man with
a lot of tattoos.
"Fine! Whatever *hic* I didnt like *hic* this place anyway!!"
Yelled back a man with a familiar voice.
I tried to take a look at him but it was too dark in the area he was standing by.
Should I go up to him?
Or should I mind my business??
Before I could think, my legs were already taking me over towards him.
"Hey... are you okay?"
those words just flew out my mouth, without even knowing I was going to say that.
"*hic* I... im per- *hic* perfectly fine. Why would *hic* care?"
He was looking down as he spoke.
"Well, I just you being kicked out the bar. What did you do?"
"I don't *hic* wanna talk abo- *hic* about it."
His slow walk became faster.
"Hey!" I said as trying to catch up.
He turned around and looked at me in the eye and yelled.
"LEAVE ME THE *hic* FUCK ALONE!
I DONT WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!"
I just stared into a black space that
were his eyes.
Tom?
What was he doing here?
This isn't the town they lived in or was it?
I started to look around the area more.
Its the town I left years ago!
"What are you *hic* looking at?!"
Tom just stared at me, confused and
angry, I'm guessing.
"Hey sir, have you seen someone like this around here?" An officer said to the bar guy.

My eyes widen. I grabbed Toms arm without thinking and we hid in an alley way.
Toms eyes widen as he yells.
"Hey! Let *hic* go of me-" I put my hand over Toms mouth and put my finger over mine, telling him to be quiet.
Toms rolled his eyes at me.
"I think I heard someone" said one officer
I heard them getting closer.
I grabbed Toms arm again and ran further down the alley way.
"I didn't hear anything" said another.
"I swear I heard someone" said an officer as he shone a light down the alley way.
We were far enough so they couldn't see us.
I sighed in relief as they headed away continuing searching for me.
"You got *hic* some explaining to do!"
Tom said while crossing his arms and giving me an angry look.
'Wait... why haven't he killed me yet? I thought we were enemies. Never mind, he's drunk'
I snapped out of my thoughts.
"Why should I tell you anything? Your drunk and you won't remember anyway."
"Fine *hic* Whatever"
I sighed as I began
"Where do you live? You need to go home."
"Follow *hic* me"
I put my hoodie over my head as I followed Tom to his place. I quickly looked around and the cops were gone. Good.
~~~~
'They live in appartments now? Oh ya... because I exploded their house...'
I started to feel guilt in my stomach.
I followed Tom into the elevator.
As it began to go up. Tom fell against the wall.
"Are you okay?!" I asked and might of yelled
a bit.
"Ya... *hic* I'm fine, commie."
As he got up, I just looked at the floor.
"This is my floor," he said as he walked out.
I followed him.
We said our goodbyes and I headed for the elevator.
"What are you doing here??"
I looked up from the ground and saw Edd.
Shit.
Trickster's Tale
Be careful when demanding reparations from gods. They rarely own up to their mistakes. Due to a goddess's shortsighted error, Perry finds himself transported to a distant Universe with new proportions and a different identity. Instead of cowering before the deity, he demands she opens a portal home or provides reparations for him and his bereaved family. Unfortunately, standing up for himself doesn't earn Perry respect. Instead, she curses him with cowardice, limiting his combat and magical potential. Little does the goddess know that nothing can stand in the way of Perry's sheer will. If brute strength and arcane might won't get him the justice he desires, wit and creativity will. Perry's first target? A goblin shaman. Then, the world. And so begins, the bard's ballad. Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---
8 163My second life in a fantasy world
Important Announcement: English is not my first language, sorry for the mistakes After living a long life on earth, it was finally time to leave, bedridden in a hospital, surrounded by a large family, between sobs and sad goodbye glances, bearing many memories, some good, some bad, funny moments, sad moments, happy moments, tragic moments, I finally closed my eyes and plunged into the abyss of darkness and what awaited me on the other side was ... An old ex-mercenary hungry for adventure is reincarnated in a world of swords and magic, with no trap powers, just his own strength, wits, and outlandish friends. P.S. I am a totally amateur writer, I write just for fun, I am working on illustrations with another person, I plan to put one on the cover of each chapter reflecting its content. At the moment I already have partially assembled the story, I just need to polish a little, the rhythm in which the chapters appear may vary. The original version in Spanish can be found here for the curious https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/250682744-mi-segunda-vida-en-un-mundo-de-fantas%C3%ADa
8 109Just What I Needed
In life there are things that are said, and then there are those that remain unsaid. For Keely Staub, her life mostly remained in the latter category. She kept the one true love, music, hidden from even her best friends. But when one song changed the world she lived in, shaking it to it's very core, everything she knows is about to change. Her future and a past even hidden from her collide as she wades through a world she'd never dared to dream of, allowing her half heart to maybe find an equally broken one in the unlikely source of Seth Ryan.
A pile of rags crawls through caves, and chambers of an old dungeon to find what it's looking for, while slashing and dashing through specters. If said pile was to leave the dungeon, there may be a large world to explore, roads that begin the journey of a thousand steps, and all manner of adventurers dealing with their own business.
