Tord has gotten into his car. He grabbed out his keys and put them into the ignition. Turning on his car.
He then grabbed out his phone. He dialed Tom's number.
Smiling a bit as he waited for Tom to answer. He looked over and noticed Edd and Matt waving from the porch.
Tord waved as he placed his hand back on the steering wheel. Starting to drive.
Finally, Tom answered the phone.
"Oh Ello honey!" Tom beamed happily on the phone. "Sorry for not answering fast, I just got out of the shower."
Tord chuckled softly. "Oh no worries. Guess what?" Tom furrowed his eyebrows on the other line.
"What?"
Tord giggled as he continued to drive down the highway now. "Edd and Matt forgive me."
Tom dropped his pen that he was using to work on. "What?.." "–Yeah! They forgive me. Everything, everything went smoothly.. I thought it was going to go badly but, they forgive me. Right now, I am on my way to get you. Does my army know about how I am leaving?"
"Yes hon, they know about this. I let them know. Paul and Pat also started leading again uh yesterday. Everything is going well in the army. Also, thanks for the fucking contacts. Resting with a block on my face wasn't pleasant."
Tord laughed at Tom's response as he switched lanes. "Well, you're most certainly welcome min kjære. Now, I have to focus on the drive. I will see you soon. I love you."
Tom felt butterflies swirl into his stomach. "I love you too, see you soon honey."
Then the call went dead. Tom felt extremely happy now.
"He listened..he finally listened to me." Tom mumbled as he got out of Tord's office chair. He sniffled as he started to cry in joy.
He happily dashed to Tords bedroom. Jumping into Tords bed. He cuddled into the red themed blankets.
He started to cry again as hugged onto Tords pillow. "I'm so excited.. so happy... Commie actually listened to me."

He noticed that a sunset was starting to happen. Tom watched the sunset as he slowly closed his contacted eyes.
He slowly fell asleep. Breathing in Tords scent.

Days went on...
Tord was driving through mountains, forests, and hills. It was taking a long drive. He glanced at his gas, and sighed in relief.
Thank God he filled up his tank each time he has saw a gas station.
He was halfway back to Norway. He hasn't slept at all during his drive. Not even stretched. The back of his car was filled with empty energy shots.
He was so exhausted. But he didn't care. He was overworking himself. But this was for Tom. All of this was. He wanted to make the love of his life happy.
He was only focused on Tom now. Not himself. His mental health was a mess. He hasn't been taking his medication.
In fact, he left it at his base. Tord blinked tiredly as he approached at a stop light.
Rain was harshly pouring. He used his window wipers to wash away the raindrops as the stop light turned green.
He then continued to drive. This was a peaceful drive after all. The sound of rain.A faint sound of the radio playing in the background as he continued to drive.

Edd and Matt were watching horror movies on the couch. Edd was snuggled up to Matt because he was afraid. Matt wrapped his arms protectively around Edd. As Edd has Ringo in his arms.
Both of the British males cuddling each other. Edd lays his head on Matt's chest.
"I wonder when Tords coming back.. it's been a few days. He said he'll come back with Tom a few days ago." Edd says worriedly as he lifted his head. Looking up at Matt.
Matt shrugged. "I mean, Norway is far away." He replied while stuffing popcorn in his mouth. Edd shrugged and nodded in agreement. "I suppose you're right."

Tord finally reached Norway. He watched as the rain turned into snow. It was satisfying to look at. Tords eyes lightened up when he sees his home country.

His lips pursed for a moment as he continues to drive. He turned on the heater just a tad bit. Being use to the cold, he didn't think it was necessary to have it be blasting on.
He reached to the location of his base. And parked his car. Getting out of his car, some soldiers greeted him.
"Hi Red Leader!"
"We're gonna miss you!"
"How are you?!"
Tord didn't respond though. He just went inside. It was daytime, so he knew Tom would be awake. Sighing from exhaustion, he started to walk into the direction to his office.
But was soon interrupted by Paul and Pat hugging him.
"You had us fucking worried kiddo." Paul scolded as he narrowed his eyes at Tord.
Tord giggled nervously. "Beklåger..." He apologized. Pat kept hugging Tord close. "We missed you. Tom is in your office doing your paperwork sweetheart."
Pat released Tord from the embrace.
Tord looked up at his father's. "Treat my base well you two. Please don't fuck shit up.. we already have most of the world conquered by now."
They both saluted to Tord.
Tord laughed and rolled his eyes, walking away.
He then went to his own office. His heart pounded into his chest as felt nervous.
He opened the door.
"Min kjære..?" Tord says causing the Brit to look up. Tom widened his 'eyes.' and gasped.
"HONEY!" Tom screams in joy as he ran over.
Both of them hugging each other in a tight loving embrace. Tord wrapped his arms around Tom's waist as they swayed together.
"Oh I missed you so much min kjærlighet.." Tord whispered as he stopped his swaying movements.
They both looked at each other with love. Tom leaned in and kissed Tords lips.
Tord gracefully returned the kiss. They kissed for a moment before pulling away.
"Now, get packed min kjærlighet. We have a long drive ahead of us."
Tom slowly frowned when he noticed Tords eye bags. "Wait before I do hon.."
He trailed off and cupped Tords cheeks. "You didn't rest?! You were gone for 2 weeks! H-honey! You should of parked somewhere to rest! You-"
Tom was silenced by a pair of lips crashing onto his. Tom returned the kiss imediantly.
Then Tord pulled away. "Relax my love, it's okay." Tom shakes his head. "No, I'm driving this time."
Tord scoffed. "What?!" Tom nodded. "Yes! Fucking hell! Commie, look at yourself. You're so exhausted..! You're draining yourself.." he spat out in worry.
Tord frowned a bit. "But I do this for you min kjære.." Tom sighs. "I know, but please. Let me take care of you as well. I don't want you hurting yourself."
Tord nodded a bit as he felt Tom kiss his jawline softly. "Im doing this because I love you, now let me pack. Then I'll drive us home."
He says softly and kisses Tords forehead. He then went back into the bedroom to pack.
Tord followed along. He sat on his bed as he watched Tom stuff things into a large checkered suitcase.
"Where did you get that?" Tord asked. "Oh Paul got it for me as a gift." Tom replied with a small grin.
"Ah, I see."

They were back on the road. Tord was already passed out in the passenger as Tom was driving.
Tom sighed. "Stupid commie.. he overworked himself for me. Now I must returned the favor.. he's done so much for me." He says to himself as he drives away from the base.
He swore to himself that he will keep the world domination a secret to himself and Tord.
As he drives, he felt his body relax. The drive was peaceful. Especially since it was just the two of them.
It hasn't been the two of them for a very long time.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
