《hot stuff ☕︎ | richie tozier》25

said you'd always be my white blood,
circulate the right blood
giving me your white blood
i need you right here with me
'richie, please' i said shakily
'you know it's not up to me, baby' he said, the cracking in his voice becoming larger every time he spoke to me, or anyone
we laid in the middle of the meadow, no one around us
the memories flowed in and out of our brains, making it worse then it already was
i made patterns with my finger swirling around on top of his stupid tourist shirt
'hot stuff, i'm sorry' he said, on the verge of tears
'don't be. we still have another hour' i said, a silent tear dripping down my face
'the losers wanted to say goodbye too, i told them we could meet at th-'
'i know'
the tears started to drip down my cheek, and down onto richie's shirt
'don't cry, baby it's-' richie paused, not wanting to cry too
he slowly picked up his hand, that had previously been tucked under my shirt, rubbing my back to attempt to calm me, and him too, down
he whispered, so softly,'the losers are going to be at the woods any minute, we should get going'
i got up from his embrace,'you're right. let's leave'
he got up too, and as we walked back to his back richie lazily slung his arm around me,
but his grip around me became tight, not wanting to let go
after the short walk, that was actually about a fifteen minute walk but we took our time, we arrived at richie's bike
'hop on, baby' richie mumbled
i got on the back of his bike, and held on to him as hard as i could without hurting him
'it's not going to work' i whispered quietly to myself, knowing that it would be one of the last times i could ever wrap my arms around him again

'i know, but it's worth a shot' richie whispered back, obviously hearing me
we arrived at bill's house, in which we had all arranged to meet there for the others' goodbyes to richie
once we got there, everyone was there
ben, bill, beverly, eddie, and stan
i stood behind as richie said goodbye to everyone
i was zoned out, and could only hear distant voices as to what they were saying
'bye, eds. i'll miss you and your mom'
'yeah, i guess i'll miss you too.. trashmouth'
'see ya, big bill'
'yeah'
after a minute, it was all over, and me and richie left again;
tears filling both of our eyes
we decided to go to the diner, since it was around lunchtime and we could get to cuddle in the booths
'one chocolate milshake with two straws and a medium basket of fries with ketchup, thanks' richie bluntly said to our waitress,
normally he'd make a quick remark about how much more beautiful i was than her, but not this time,
this time, he quietly cried into my shoulder after she left
after the 'lunch' that we both barely touched, we headed back to richie's house,
when we got there, we still had fifteen minutes left before the cab that picked up richie and his mom came to pick them up and go to the airport with them
'how about you kids go up into richie's old room? his mattress is still there if you want to lay on it together?' richie's mom asked,
richie nodded
i could tell she was going to make a remark about the mattress but quickly changed once she saw how upset we were
richie and i held hands as we walked into his room, the trashy posters that once filled the walls and dirty laundry that once covered the floor was now gone,

the only thing in the room was his mattress and a little piece of trash that had most likely been left by the movers
we laid down on the bare mattress in complete silence, until,
as if a timer went off,
we both started bawling our eyes out
the next minutes were filled with cries and sobs, and in between those cries and sobs, words that we would both remember until the day we would meet again
'i love you so much, baby'
'please don't leave'
'it was meant for it to end this way'
'you'll always be my trash mouth baby'
'you'll always be my hot stuff'
minutes passed with silent tears, until we heard richie's mom yell that we had two minutes left
two minutes
that was 120 seconds,
not nearly enough time for all the things we had to tell each other
'one last sloppy teenage kiss?' richie asked in a low voice
'as long as you promise never to forget to write'
'i promise'
we leaned in, and what once was a 'sloppy', spit full kiss,
turned passionate and sweet
a sweet goodbye
we heard richie's mom yell again, that the cab was here
we looked out of the window, and sure enough, there was the yellow car
we got up, tears filling our eyes, not being able to contain, or release, such emotion and pain we were both feeling
as we went back out to the driveway, richie's mom was already in the cab waiting for her son
richie held my hand and pulled me in for one last kiss,
there was no tongue,
no 'sloppiness',
just, simple,
lips on lips,
and it still felt better than any other kiss we ever kissed
my hand was on his cheek, and his arms were wrapped around my waist,
both of our torsos touching
'goodbye richie' i whispered, i could feel my breath on his face, we were so close
'wait, before you go.' richie whispered
he pulled something out of his t-shirt pocket.
it was a ring
'i spent all of my money on it,' richie continued to whisper
'but it's worth it, for you. it's a promise ring, it's the same shade as my eyes so you'll never forget the color of them. you always talked about how much you love them. the knot around it symbolises a know that is not quite tied yet, but has all of the intentions of being tied. and one day, when we meet again, we'll tie that fucking knot and everything will be okay again. we'll have each other again, and we'll both be happy'
he slipped the ring on my finger, and it fit perfectly
'oh, richie.' i whispered, in awe
'i love you so much, rich' I whispered to him before we kissed one last time
'love you just as much, and a little more, vic' he whispered back after the kiss
he let go of my waist and my hand left his cheek once again, but this time,
for good
he opened the door to the cab as i whispered, loud enough for him to hear,'goodbye, richie'
'goodbye, hot stuff. i'll see you soon, i promise'

Progression Farmer
Midday Sunson had nothing left to lose. Every morning he awoke not knowing if he would survive to see sunset, and as the hellish conditions of a plantation whose scale surpassed imagination continually destroyed him more each day, he knew his life would soon come to an end. But everything changed when he stumbled upon a magic ring. A ring with the power to make plants grow faster. The ring gave him hope, and hope gave him the strength to endure. I will add another sentence or two here later but holy hell is writing descriptions hard.
8 195Record of Lundeir
In the world of Lundeir, no creatures are known to be more powerful than the mighty and ancient Dragons. When a Dragon's scale is one day shattered, its shards scattered across the land, that power runs rampant. For Misha, a mousefolk and dutiful guard of a forest village, life is simple and familiar. But when a stranger appears with news of something amiss in the forest, that familiarity is threatened. Currently updating every other Friday.
8 205It's About the Journey
Alegría "Joy" Rodriguez-Thayer had been many things: a typical American corporate drone, an armchair linguist, a starving musician, and most recently, struggling to make ends meet with a mid-tier non-profit job after being widowed at 40, dreams of world travel stifled and ultimately shattered by a lifetime of missed opportunity. In another time and place, schoolgirl Izumi Yoshiko looked forward to her Coming of Age Day, having lived her whole life in the rural town of Takasane-machi in the land of Mikata-no-kuni. Being one of the few in her town born pureblooded human, she eagerly awaited the prophecy that she would become host to a "reborn soul".With their meeting, they set off to go see this great new world and make new friends along the way. The destination doesn't matter: it's about the journey.
8 228Reasons to Stay
Immortality has a cost, it differs from person to person. Some regret seeing their loved ones die, some regret they themselves cannot die, some regret the boredom and some regret nothing. This man regrets not having a choice, so after millions of years of getting shot, beheaded, beaten, stabbed and stoned he escaped from the world by hiding in a bunker with his books. He had studied all forms of science, he had lived history and created art, he was content with being alone with his mind until one day a man with a monocle appears, and he learns the truth. Hi! This is my second novel and I just had this idea when I was trying to sleep and my mind was making me re-live all those goddamn nightmares you don't want when it's 1 am and dark as shit, so I thought of happy things like the fantasy genre and my inevitable death and i'm like why not?
8 92Debts Come Due!
As a child orphand in the war and left with no one I was taken in by the church and trained to be a paladin. My father being a warlock and mother being a witch left me with only two things. The first is the name of a succubus that only asks that in life you do as you will but serve her forever in death. The second was the good sense to question everything that is ever said and never take 'because I said so' as a reason to do anything. After my training was done I could not stay at the church which had forced this fate on me nor could I turn my back on those that needed help and do nothing so I decided to become an adventure and go were I pleased helping whoever I wished on my way. What will my destiny become and where will I go from here.
