At midnight Veer felt his ribs paining so much he wasn't able bear the pain. He saw Bani sleeping so he did not wanted to disturb her.
Bani was sleeping peacefully but she felt something wrong. She wasn't able to sleep. She was feeling something disturbing. She opened her eyes and switched on the lights. Then she saw Veer sitting on the bed. He bent his head.

Veer didn't respond.

She went near him. She heared him sobbing.

Bani wondered Veer was crying! He never cries. She thought it would have hurt him so much. Unknowingly even she was crying seeing him like that.

Veer was still feeling pain.
Bani went near him and hugged him. Veer in a fraction of second reciprocated the hug. She was standing so he could hug her stomach. He rested his head.
Bani ruffled his hair caressed his back.

Then she too sat with him resting on the headboard. He was still hugging her so tightly snuggling into her chest.
After sometime Veer slept. Bani tried to move but his grip was so strong that she couldn't move.
Bani kissed his forehead.
