- Main protagonist. Used by H1 for genetic research and as a living bomber. Genetic issues forced a full skunk morph change on him and now he deals with a new life as a morph. Mated to Swytch of Clan Redpaw and Jacquline Lapigne, a female bunny morph. Max is a natural anchor for Blackpaws and holds a T-5 rating due to his mental blending with Swytch. Max's colorations are almost solid black with a white chest/stomach/groin and foot/hand 'socks', white eyebrow markings as well as a white 'goatee' and white, shoulder length head hair. A Clan Redpaw mark resides on his right pectoral. Max has greenish gold eyes. In hys female phase form, Max is about a foot shorter with a softer, more sexual feminine shape. The white which normally gives hym a blocky, strong look in hys chest/stomach/groin is now an hourglass shape accentuating hys new curves. The 'goatee' portion on hys muzzle is now a long stripe accentuating hys throat and links with the hourglass markings on his chest. Hys head hair falls almost to hys butt in female phase. Hy has a single stripe down his back that forks into an 'eye' on hys tail before rejoining at the tip.

- Max's lifemate and first love. Swytch is a systems engineer and a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to anything mechanical. Swytch and Max are mentally bonded in such a way that they cannot be separated. Due to this, Max's T rating is a 5 and so is Swytch's. Swytch prefers hys female form and isn't very fond of the mental link that all skunktaurs share, finding the noise to be a burden. Swytch's coloration is the complete opposite of normal skunktaurs with primary white coloration with black stripes and markings as well as black head hair. Hy has sky blue eyes.

/ Jackie - Jackie is Max's second lifemate. Her love of music drew her to Max when he was tricked into singing an old Earth song at the Freedom Celebration on the skunktaur peninsula. Since the first song she heard him sing, she pursued him in her own way. Eventually she convinced him to sing lead vocals for her band and from there wormed her way into his life and his heart. She has buff colored fur with white accents, blue eyes and deep auburn hair.

- Swytch's 'father'. Chakat Riot is a sight to behold, requiring sunglasses in direct sunlight. Shi is as bubbly as hir coloration is riotous. Shi is a marine biologist and really enjoys hir work. Hir coloration is solid white fur with a tiger stripe pattern. Each tiger stripe though, is a different neon color that puts a highlighter to shame. Shi has bright highlighter pink hair and tends to wear loud color clothing.

- Swytch's 'mother'. Jynxy is a normal patterned skunktaur of the Redpaw Clan. Hy prefers hys normal patterned skunktaur of the female side just like hys 'daughter'. Jynxy works for the Council of the Redpaws.

- Child of Max and Swytch. Completely white without a touch of black fur. Hy has heterochromia, meaning one eye is green and one eye is blue.

- Child of Chakat Riot and Jynxy of Clan Redpaw. Fawn colored coat with orange serval spots and an orange stripe running down hir back to hir tail tip.

- Commander in Starfleet Intelligence. Shylin is a sneaky ass skunktaur who has the ability to plan for what seems like everything. Shylin is trying very hard to recruit Max to work for him in his battle against the LNAW and H1. Shylin is normal skunktaur coloration.
