A/N: this is Mason's and Bella's first date. It happens when Bella forgave him after Mason accused her in the Mafia gathering event.

----------------------------------------------------

Bella walked down the stairs and to the foyer at 8 o'clock in the evening. She had worn a simple long sleeve black dress which was going to her knees, matched with red pumps. She had pulled her hair into a loose ponytail with a few strands framing her face with minimum makeup.

She frowned when she saw Ben leaning casually against the wall near the living room door sipping from his mug of coffee. "It's not that I'm curious or something about my best friend's first date ever." He said nonchalantly without looking at her. "I just love to drink my coffee here."

Bella glared and narrowed her eyes at him as someone snickered from inside the living room. "Shut up, Hunter." Xander's whisper-yell easily reached her ear.

"What the ..." said Bella as she walked toward the living room and saw Xander, Damien, Hunter, and Alison all hiding behind the living room wall. "You must be kidding me."

They all smiled at her sheepishly just as Mason opened the front door and walked in with a large bouquet of red and white roses in his hand. Everyone looked at him with wide eyes and mouths agape while Bella smiled at him warmly with her eyes full of love and adoration and her heart melting at the sight of her date.

"Wow!" Siad Hunter. "Let me not believe this. Mason in jeans. You have brained washed my brother, Bella."

And sure, Mason was in blue jeans and a white t-shirt with a black leather jacket on top of them. His dark hair looked messy giving him a more boyish look. Although his hard eyes were coldly fixed on the intruders.

"What the hell are you doing here?" he glared at his siblings and Ben as he walked closer. "Get out of my sight before I shoot you all."

"Oh, come on, man." Scoffed Ben. "You wouldn't shoot your dears."

"Do you want to test it?" Asked Mason and showed his gun tucked in his waistband his eyes void of emotions.

They all gulped visibly not wanting to test that theory. Bella shook her head and chuckled. "Come on, guys." she said. "I promise to tell you every detail of our date later. Now please let us go to this date."

Ben was the last one who went to the living room. "You promised." he mouthed for Bella and winked at Mason before closing the door behind him.

Mason rolled his eyes and huffed irritated. "Idiots." he mumbled.

Bella walked to him. "Is that for me?" she asked and pointed to the bouquet.

"Yes, sorry, Bella." Said Mason and kissed her forehead gently while handing her the flowers. His eyes softened and filled with warmth as he stared down at her. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." Blushed Bella and dropped her head.

Mason smiled as well and took her hand. "Let's go. Sorry It's late. But I should have taken care of a few things." he said as they walked to the front doors.

"It's okay. I understand." Answered Bella.

Soon they were in Mason navy blue Mustang GT and were driving out of the gates. Bella looked out of the windows and mirrors. "Should we not take guards with ourselves?" She asked confused.

"We have." Answered Mason. "They just know better than to show themselves. Cause I will shoot them if I see them."

"What is with you and shooting everyone today?" Chuckled Bella.

Mason smiled a bit but it faded soon and he glanced at Bella. "Bella, don't be worried." He said and grabbed her hand to give it a light squeeze. "They are some of my best men. Nothing will happen tonight."

"I'm not worried. You are here." she said with a reassuring smile. "What's our plan for tonight."

Mason chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head. The sight of nervous Mason was so new to Bella. "Well, I hope you like this." He said. "I hate the cliché dates where the boy will take his date to a fancy restaurant. There is this dance festival taking place not far from here and then we will have dinner in a small but cozy diner where Ben, Harrison, and I used to go as teenagers."

"Sounds lovely." Beamed Bella. "I'm happy you hate cliché."

Mason smiled brightly at Bella and sped off toward the festival. Soon they arrived in an open space in front of a big hotel that was swarming with people. A stage had been placed in a corner where a group of dancers was performing a dance with blaring music that was piercing the darkness of night alongside the deafening cheers of the people who were dancing and watching the performance.

Mason and Bella stood there, hand in hand, and watched around them in amusement for a few minutes. "Come on!" Squealed Bella over the sounds and began to drag Mason excitedly.

Mason couldn't help but stare at Bella amused and shocked as she dragged her farther ahead. Her eyes that always had at least a twinge of worry and sadness in the past month were now shining brightly with excitement and she looked carefree and happy. His heart swelled with happiness as he saw the big and sincere grin on her beautiful face and she began to sway her body with the music that was playing. Now he was so happy with his choice for the date.

But he couldn't help but feel like a sore thumb between the crowd. He had never been in this kind of event since he turned 18. Of course, as the heir to both the company and mafia he was forced to attend Galas and balls. But none of them had an atmosphere like this at all. Where you can put aside all of your duties and just enjoy the night for yourself. The memory and feeling were too distant for him to remember. His stone-cold face was back as he looked around the perimeter assessing the place and run-away routes.

Suddenly he felt a warm hand engulfing his own and opening his fist. He looked down and see Bella smiling at him warmly.

"Just forget about who you are tonight." she said softly and surprisingly he heard her in the mayhem around them. "Tonight, you are only Mason, my handsome date. Let's dance. You owe me this much. Tonight is our date and I want you to enjoy your night."

She then grabbed his other hand as well began to force him to dance, her smile never wavering as she stared at him.

Mason couldn't help but smile as well. Once again, he wondered how he deserved the woman in front of him. But he decided to listen to her. She was right. He owed it to her.

So, he let his muscles relax as he began to follow her lead and dance to the crazy song. Half an hour later he was completely relaxed, dancing and laughing alongside his angel, lost in her mesmerizing blue eyes that seemed to hold him captive. His whole heart and mind were full and sure of his love for her and he knew at that moment that he never could let her go. He needed her in his life to simply be able to live. Life didn't have a meaning for him without her anymore.

He twirled her around and she giggled beautifully. Then he pulled her to his chest and the next second his lips came crashing down on hers, capturing her in a sweet and gentle kiss, between all of those crazy and sweaty bodies that were around them, without a care in the world.

"I love you, Bella." Said Mason when they pulled away from the kiss and pressed their foreheads together. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, Mason." Said Bella softly as she caressed his cheek lovingly. "More than you can imagine." She said and Mason felt that he was the happiest man in the world.

"Ladies and gentlemen," the loud sound of a man on the stage talking into a microphone brought Mason and Bella out of their world and they both looked up at the man. "It was an honor to be here with you all tonight. I hope you have a very good night and byyyyyeeeee."

"Now, I think I love to pay a visit to that diner that you said. I'm starving." Said Bella and put a hand on her stomach. "And they better have burger and fries and coke." Then she narrowed her eyes at him and pointed a finger at his face. "And you, Mister, won't go to comment at the amount I will eat. Clear?"

Mason stared at her for a second and then threw his head back and let out a wholeheartedly laugh which brought a smile to Bella's face and caused butterflies to erupt in her stomach. After a moment he gain back his breath and kissed her lips once more. "Don't be worried, angle." He said and looked at her fondly. "You won't be disappointed. Come now. Let's fill that stomach of yours."

Soon they pulled at a small diner on a not crowded road. The diner was indeed cozy and good and they enjoyed the hour that they spend there, talking and laughing about the silly things that had happened in their lives.

It was half past ten when they walked out of the diner, their hands laced together.

"Well, we definitely will come here a lot from now on." said Bella. "Their burgers were insanely delicious."

"Ben will have my balls when he finds out I was here without him." Chuckled Mason and Bella joined him soon. He looked at Bella and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear with his free hand. "Are you tired, beautiful?" He asked softly.

"No." Answered Bella and Mason nodded.

"Good, cause there's still one place I want to take you." Said Mason and they walked to his car and drive away.

15 minutes later, they were standing on the beach. The wind was blowing their hair. The moon was full, illuminating the dark beach, creating a serene scene of gray, silver, and black shadows. The waves that were washing the shore were shining like lines of diamonds and their sound was caressing their ears.

"Let's walk." Said Mason. Bella nodded and they both took off their shoes and began to walk alongside the line of the shore.

They walked in comfortable silence. The waves were reaching their feet from time to time. After some minutes, they sat on the sands and watched the ocean in front of them.

"Tonight," said Mason, and Bella looked at him. His handsome face was relaxed, yet although the cold glare was not on his face, you could see the power in it. He had taken off his jacket to drape it around Bella and now his muscles were bulging under his white t-shirt, giving him a godly look. His strong arms had circled his knees as he had sat with his legs slightly bent.

"Tonight, was amazing." Said Bella softly. She smiled warmly as Mason turned to look at her.

Her face was glowing under the silver rays of the moon. The soft breeze of the ocean was moving her curls a little, making her look like a goddess, a goddess that had bewitched the mighty Mason King.

"I want you to be my girlfriend." Said Mason in some sort of trance, while staring deeply into her eyes.

Bella laughed beautifully and Mason only wanted to pin her down and take her right there and then. The temptation was so hard and so in the next second Bella let out a squeal as Mason pushed her on the sands and hovered on top of her and began to kiss her hard and passionate.

"You laughed." He panted after he pulled away. His tone was offended and accusing and he was trying to glare down at her yet the smile on his lips that he was hardly trying to conceal was saying otherwise. "I was fucking serious."

Bella giggled again. "You should be always dominate, shouldn't you?" she asked. "Even when you're asking me to be your girlfriend."

"That's the point, honey. I wasn't asking." Said Mason and he smirked. "You have actually no voice in this. You should be my girlfriend. Whether you like it or not."

Bella pouted adorably. "And here I was thinking that I had this title from long ago." she said and Mason pecked her lips.

"You were. But it's official now." He said and then his face become serious. "Now I have the right to kill any bastard who dares to look at you the wrong way."

"You can't kill people because of that." Groaned Bella and rolled her eyes.

"You doubt me, love?" he asked. "Should I start with that fucking ex of yours? I really want to pay him a visit and have a talk with him."

Bella rolled her eyes again. "Don't roll your eyes, beautiful." said Mason and plant a feather kiss on her neck causing her breath to hitch for a moment. "Now that you want me to ask, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked while trailing kisses down her neck to her collarbone.

"Yes!" said Bella with a sound between whisper and moan.

"Good!" Answered Mason and his hand went under Bella's body and began to pull down the zipper of her dress.

Bella's eyes snapped open. "Mason!" She said and tried to stop him. "Not here. Someone can see us."

"No one's here." Growled Mason and tried to unzip her dress further. but Bella stopped him.

"Just a moment ago you wanted to kill everyone who looks at me." she protested and grabbed his wandering hand. "And now you want to undress me in front of your men who are guarding us."

Mason grunted from irritation but stopped and sat up quickly and brought Bella to her feet the next moment and began to drag her to their car.

Soon they were back on the road and Mason was literally breaking all of the speed limits.

Soon he stopped the car in front of a tall building and rushed to Bella's side and opened her door.

"Where are we?" She asked confused as she looked around while Mason dragged her into the lobby. The hall was shining brightly. The marbles were illuminating the lights of the chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Beautiful pots with green plants have been put around the hall and a few sofas were placed here and there.

"My penthouse." said Mason as they reached a desk. The lobby man jumped to his feet when he saw Mason.

"Mr. King." He said politely. His fearful eyes were fixed on Mason while he glanced curiously at Bella.

"Bring my car into the parking." Said Mason with his signature glare and cold tone and passed his car keys. He then dragged Bella to a private elevator in a corner. The doors opened instantly and they walked in.

As the doors closed, Bella was pushed to the wall of the elevator and Mason's lips were locked to hers. The ride was short and as the doors opened Mason once again dragged Bella hurriedly toward the door at the end of the corridor and punched a code to open the door.

Once inside, he slammed the door shut and they ran upstairs to a big room, and once again Bella was pinned to a wall. She moaned as Mason bit her bottom lips and opened her mouth to grant him access. Their tongues clashed in a sweet battle and obviously, Mason won the battle and dominate the kiss.

He put his arms under Bella's butt and easily hauled her up and kept her arms locked above her head with one of his hands while his other hand caressed her thigh. Her skirt had risen up to her butt, giving him easy access to her heated skin.

Bella opened her eyes for a moment and they landed on a king-size bed with white and gray covers and suddenly she stopped.

"What's wrong?" Asked Mason as he felt her tense and followed her line of vision confused.

"How many other women have you taken on this bed?" She asked dryly without looking at him.

"Bella!" He said softly and gently grabbed her chin to force her to look at him instead. "I never have brought anyone here. Only my family and a few of my men know about here. You are the first and only woman. I swear. And besides, the last time I had anyone other than you, was almost four months ago. This ..." he said and grabbed her hand and placed it on his heart that was beating fast. "Belongs to you and only you. You are the only woman who has ever had this."

Bella stared at his sincere eyes for a moment and then buried her head in his neck. "I'm sorry." She whispered. "I ruined the moment."

Mason bit and sucked the skin of her neck and a muffled moan left her lips again. His expert hand went to the zipper of her dress and slowly pulled it down, caressing the smooth skin of her back with his fingertips. "Ruin the moment as much as you want, my love. " He whispered near her ear. His warm breath fanning against her skin sent shivers down her spine. "Cause I'm always ready to fix it again."

****************************

Mason woke up the next morning when he felt a delicate touch on his bare chest. A smile found its way to his lips and he tightened his hold on Bella's waist without opening his eyes, wanting that peaceful moment to continue for eternity.

"I love you." Bella's whisper next to his ear made his smile grow wider. He opened his eyes and saw Bella smiling warmly at him. She leaned a bit toward him and connected their lips for a blissful moment. "Goodmorning, handsome."

"Goodmorning, love." He said with a raspy morning voice that made Bella horny once again. "What time is it?"

"Eight o'clock." Answered Bell. "Did you sleep well last night? You haven't slept well for a few nights."

"I have never slept better in my life." answered Mason truthfully and sat up after pecking Bella's lips. He looked at Bella and smirked as he saw her trying to cover her naked body with the covers as she sat up as well. "Don't worry, love. Nothing I have not seen or ravished before."

Bella slapped his arm and muttered a few profanities under her breath, causing Mason to chuckle and kiss her again. She smiled at him. Mason smiled as well and grabbed her hand and put it on his heart. Bella caressed the place lovingly and then looked up into his eyes. The eyes that were warm and beautiful.

"Last night you told me something." she said. "That I'm the first one who has ever owned your heart."

"I really meant it." Said Mason seriously. "Every single word of it. You are the only girl that I ever loved."

"I wanted you to know that you are the first one who has ever owned my heart too." she said with a smile and blushed a bit which caused Mason to look at her surprised. "I had only two boyfriends before you. And I loved none of them. You are the first one who I have these feelings for."

Mason didn't hesitate to pull her to his lap and claim her lips. "And it's going to stay this way." said Mason. "Because I don't plan to ever let you go."

"Good." Said Bella.

"Good." Replied Mason and kissed her nose and then continued after a moment. "Unfortunately, we should go back. I should go to the base."

"I understand." Said Bella and caressed his cheek. "But promise you will still take me to dates like last night. Promise you will have time for me from time to time."

"I promise." Said Mason. "And I'm a man of my words."

Bella nodded. Then she squealed as Mason pulled the covers away from them and get out of the bed with her in his arms and began to walk to the bathroom. "Now let's have a bath together. And maybe a quicky there." He said and laughed as Bella hid her flushed face in his neck.
