That sounds like a you problem

Elena dragged her sister out of the bed to go running around the block.

"It's too early" The younger Gilbert girl continued to complain as they jogged along the block.

"it's 11am" Elena argued earning another groan from her sister

"my point exactly" Bethan replied trying to keep up with her sister

"is this our new normal now? We jog around the town pretending your boyfriend isn't some psycho killer and that you're not totally flirting with his older brother?" Beth asked her sister who sent her daggers.

"okay for starters I'm not flirting with Damon! And Secondly yes this is the normal we need to cling on to normalcy" Elena told the brunette.

"sister we are the furthest thing from normal, your a doppelgänger of a girl that your vampire boyfriend and brother both dated not to mention the same girl turned Caroline into a vampire plus Bonnie finding out she's Sabrina the teenage witch, add onto the fact my werewolf ex boyfriend is now a vampire hybrid and our guardian is a vampire hunter but don't fact the oldest baddest vampire wants to kill us" Bethan reminded Elena who just shook her head.

"your right we past normal a long time ago" the sisters shared a look and laughed

"Is it just me or has that guy been behind us far to long?" The eldest Gilbert questioned, looking back at the guy who is following them.

"I was thinking the same, cut down the old mellrose path see if he follows" Bethan instructed, the girls ran down the short cut back on to the road leading up to their house

"is he still behind us?" Beth asked as she was slightly behind her sister

"no-" before Elena could finish she had hit something hard

"I'm so sorry" the guy spoke making sure they where okay.

"no problem" the girls smiled.

"we're officially paranoid" Bethan mumbled as they ran back into the Gilbert house.

Both Bethan and Damon sat in the mystic grill, Damon drinking then bottle of every bourbon available, while his best friend made flirty eyes at the bar tender playing darts when Elena walked in.

"Really we are in the middle of crisis and your playing darts getting drunk and flirting with guys?" She asked the two baffled at the fact they weren't brain storming new ways to kill klaus.

"it's called multitasking, you should try it." Bethan responded not taking her eyes off the guy at the bar.

"What's the crisis today?" Damon asked looking at Elena while he continued you drink.

"Jeremy lost his job, flunked his test and is hanging around Tyler Lockwood" the best friends shared alook trying not to laugh at Elena's over reaction.

"so what I'm hearing is level 2 out of ten" Damon joked earning a huff from Elena.

"I atleast thought you'd be concerned Beth he's your cousin practically your brother" Elena scolded the younger girl who rolled her eyes.

"why? He's a 16 year old kid that in the past year has lost ever blood relative besides us not to mention past two girlfriends had died plus his current girlfriend Just broke up with him id be concerned if he wasn't spiralling" she admitted, the teen noticed is didn't help calm Elena down.

"he's going to drink a few beers with Tyler, make up his test and beg Matt to get him his job back" Damon tried to help before Elena could argue back the trio where interrupted by none other than klaus mikaelson.

"There goes the neighbourhood" The brunette mumbled which the vampires in the room could hear.

"What do you want klaus?" Elena asked trying her hardest not to roll her eyes.

"nothing I just came down to my local to have a drink with a mate, get a round in Tony" klaus announced. The Gilbert girls shared a look noticing it was the same guy as this morning.

"I thought you'd be long gone now" Damon stated hopefully.

"well I would but you see my sister seems to be missing need to fix that" klaus told the group.

"cute? Blonde? Psycho? Shouldn't be to hard to find" Bethan sassed making Elena elbow her.

"Also I need to locate Stefan" klaus stated getting to the point.

"ah yes sadly he skipped town after saving your ass" Damon informed the hybrid.

"well Stefan stole something from me and I need it back" klaus told them all

"well as riveting this conversation is just a few things... A I don't care, B we don't like you, and C suck on this" Bethan told the Original sticking her middle finger up.

"I'll be flirting with jack if you need me, try not to need me" klaus watched as this teenage girl with the fire in her eyes headed down to a good for nothing grease monkey.

"Stefan stole my family I need them back" the hybrid demanded his eyes moving from Elena back to Damon

"that's seems like a klaus and Stefan problem" Elena told the Original smirking slightly.

"consider this me broadening the scopes sweetheart and fortunately you have no shortage of loved ones" klaus glanced at Bethan who was currently making out with the hot bartender.

Bethan received a phone call from Elena telling her what Jeremy had attempted to do and how ric got hit by a car, the fact it was Tyler's fault. The teenage girl headed on a rampage to find the newly turned hybrid finding him at home.

"Tyler get your ass out here you good for nothing hybrid jerk" she yelled. Tyler showed up looking guilty as hell,

"you went after Jeremy" Beth let out a animalistic growl shoving him back.

"Beth I had to I-" she didn't let Tyler finished.

"You had a choice Tyler but I guess you'll always be that backstabbing good for nothing piece of shit" that hurt Tyler badly, but some part of him knows deep down Bethan will never forgive him.

"the only reason your not dead right now is because you are Caroline's boyfriend" she sneered slapping the hybrid. Bethan walked off Calling her sister to come and get her.

Elena picked Bethan up as they drove back to Gilbert household

"You okay B?" Elena asked her sister

"I'm fine it's Just I always knew Tyler was a jerk it's Just I didn't think he was capable of this" the brunette confessed looking down at her lap.

"Do you still have feelings for him?" Elena knew first hand how much Tyler cheating hurt Bethan no matter how much she pretended it didn't. "

"Yes.. no.. I don't know, Tyler was my first everything he'll always mean something to me I guess I just though it mean more to him" she confessed

"I get it Beth, trust me I get it" that was the Gilbert girls, destined to get hurt by the boys they loved.

When the girls returned home they noticed ric had woken up

"when did you return back to the land of the living?" Elena question watching the hunter attempt to sit up.

"Just now actually" he winced, Bethan through her arms around him

"I'm glad your okay" she sniffled as Alaric hugged her back.

"takes more than a car to kill me" the girls smiled at ric. Suddenly he hunched over and began to cough up blood,

"Elena call an ambulance" beth yelled dropping to floor with ric.

"your gonna be okay, just hang on" she spoke keeping his head to the side. There was a knock on the door, Elena raced to answer it letting in the paramedics

"come on he's right here" the doppelgänger spoke moving to the side to let them through.

"how about you wait right there" they had been compelled by Tony the recent pain in the Gilbert's eyes.

"Come on Elena invite me in and he can have my blood" the hybrid informed her showing his wrist

"what no I can't" she stuttered that's when Bethan came to join

"you know it's the right thing girls invite me in" Tony told them.

"Invite you in? Invite you in? I'm about to get a real fuckin pointy stake, soak it in vervain, wrap it in wolfs Bain and shove it so far up your freaking-" Bethan was cut off by the hybrid hitting the ground

"Jeremy?" Elena asked, Jeremy came running into the house

"he's not dead yet" Jeremy announced grabbing the knife.

"what are you doing?" Elena asked

"Head or heart Jer" Beth reminded him as Jeremy beheaded the hybrid, Elena screamed hiding her head on Bethan's shoulder

"he's dead now" Bethan commented leaving Elena in a state of shock how could her younger siblings kill someone like it was nothing.

"You guys get ric to the hospital I'll deal with clean up" Bethan told her siblings.

"Actually Jeremy you take Alaric Beth I need your help with something" Elena announced

The sisters ended up at the boarding house.

"You did what?" Beth exclaimed when Elena told her 'her plan'

"I'm making a deal" Elena argued trying to convince Bethan it was a good idea.

"Yeah with the devil sis" it was too late as klaus had arrived

"I assume you have news on Stefan?" He asked the girls Elena shook her head no.

"no but I have something else" klaus was lead down to cellar by the doppelgänger and the sister.

"My poor sister can't turn my back on her for a moment" he stated moving some of her blonde her out of the way.

"there you go do we a deal?" Elena asked wanting this all over.

"yes the life of my sister for your brother consider him spared" klaus told the Gilbert girls.

"you should know I was the one who daggered her" Elena confessed to klaus knowing he wouldn't risk Rebekah killing his only chance at making hybrids.

"I can control Rebekah besides I still need your help to find Stefan" he reminded the elder teen.

"we don't know where he is" klaus looked Elena up and down.

"your lying fortunately you have no shortage of loved ones so who's next Bonnie? Caroline?" Klaus' eyes glanced at the younger Gilbert.

"Bethan?" With a slight smirk on his face.

"I'd like to see you try" she growled moving from her spot leaning against the wall daring him to make a move.

"it's only a matter of time before stefan gives me what I want" the original declared stepping closer to Elena, Bethan got in the middle keeping her sister safe "

"he doesn't care about me anymore you made sure of that" Elena reminded the big bad wolf.

"you made him a monster he's your problem now" Bethan added defending her sister.

"just so you know I'm not the only one Rebekah wants dead she knows what you did to your mother, that you killed her" the Gilbert girls left klaus shocked.

"oh and you can let your self out" Bethan smirked, as the left the boarding house.

Bethan and Jeremy sat in his room

"so how are you coping?" She asked her brother handing him a cup of coffee.

"I just chopped of the head of the hybrid you where threatening" he stated shaking his head in disbelief.

"oh I so could have taken him" Bethan defended her self laughing.

"yeah sure" Jeremy wiggles his eyebrows Elena stood outside of the bed room It was nice to hear her siblings laugh. She had always been slightly jealous of the relationship Bethan and Jeremy had.

"what do we do now?" Jeremy asked his sister. Bethan rested her head on his shoulder.

"you've just got to Fight one battle at time" Bethan told him. That's when Elena and Alaric joined the group,

"can we talk?" The eldest sibling asked

"what have I doing wrong now" Jeremy groaned making Bethan giggle.

"when you said we should pack up and leave you where right, you deserve a normal life" Elena stated that's when Damon appeared.

"your sister thinks we should have another one of our talks" Bethan moves off the bed to let Damon sit down

"now Jeremy I want you to remain calm" he compelled the 16 year old.

"Elena what are you doing?" Bethan demanded.

"your going to go stay with some family friends in Denver" Damon started laying the ground work.

"what no" the 17 year old yelled trying to grab Damon only for Alaric to grab her.

"your gonna be at a new school, make new friends, meet new girl, living one" the vampire continued.

"Damon please don't do this" she cried, Bethan had tears running down her face.

"your gonna drink a few beers maybe take an art class do what ever you want" he compelled

"tell him to leave mystic falls behind and never look back" ric suggest, the vampire looked at Elena

"Elena don't, think about this" beth tried fighting Alaric

"you'll never think twice about mystic falls your going to have a better life Jeremy" Damon finished and Bethan broke down.

Ric pulled the youngest Gilbert girl out of the room and Elena followed into Bethan's room.

"why would you do that?" She yelled at her sister.

"he deserves it" Elena argued back.

"you go on about klaus being a monster forcing stefan to turn off his emotions and take away his free will well you've just done that to our brother Elena, he has a right to make his own choice, to live in his childhood home, go to school with his friends, patch things up with Bonnie if he wants and now he doesn't even have the choice" tears dripped down Bethan's face as she yelled at her sister and guardian.

"I wish stefan didn't save and that you drowned in that car accidents with Miranda and Grayson and then we wouldn't have to send Jeremy away, we wouldn't have had to burry my dad, Jenna, Vicky, Bonnies grams, Tyler would still be human and so would Caroline, if anyone should leave this town it's you" Beth spat at her elder sister.

"Beth I was just-" the brunette didn't left her finish.

"get out" she told her sister and ric.

"I said get out get out get out" she screamed at the two until they left. That's when Damon came in.

"Hey B your sister-" he was cut off by a loud smack as Bethan's hand wiped across his cheek.

"You and Caroline are my best friends Damon, you should of at least ask me and I get you love Elena but I thought I meant a bit more for you, so go comfort that home wrecking bitch and leave me the hell alone" Bethan slammed her bedroom door in his face leaving the vampire completely shocked.
