Beastly
Chapter 1
The bitch is back
(Small A/N at the end)
Bethan (Beth- Anne) Gilbert was a normal girl well if by normal you mean her cousin being cursed to look like a girl who screwed over 100 vampires and yes I said vampires, or the fact that said cousin is actually her half sister because her father had an affair before she was born to say her life is a little complicated would be an understatement. When she got offered a chance to study art in New York she jumped at the chance but when she is forced to return home things aren't what the seem.
Beth stood at her art show being complimented by people for her amazing work none of that meant anything with our her father being there. Now john Gilbert wouldn't be entered in any award for father of the year he missed school plays, parents evening, soft ball games, birthdays, Christmas but he always managed to make it to one of her shows. The brunette waited patiently until the clock struck nine meaning this evenings events had come to an end. It was safe to say the Gilbert Girl was worried she decided to call aunt Jenna, Jenna wasn't really her aunt but she loved the youngest Gilbert girl as if she was her niece.
The phone went straight to voicemail, she tried Elena, Caroline, Damon even Stefan but reached no answer. Finally she called Matt.
"Hey Matt, has anyone seen my dad lately he was suppose to be at my show" they girl asked
"wait Beth didn't anyone tell you?" The blue eyed human questioned "tell me what?" It was safe to say Bethan was confused
"Elena had to died in the ritual thing so your father gave up his life force for Elena to live." Tears swelled up in her eyes.

"wait when did he die?" She asked barely forming words.
"Beth it was the start of the summer, didn't you get invited to his or Jenna's funeral?" Matt questioned that hit the girl like a ton of bricks, the iPhone slipped from her hand as she began to sob.
Without a second thought Beth started her car and drove back home to mystic falls, she was raging the fact that her father gave up his life for Elena. The girl who wanted nothing to do with him, without a second thought to the one who loved him, she was more angry with the fact her own sister didn't even have the decency to call and tell her the news. When she finally pulled up out side the Gilbert house hold she burst through the door to find her cousin Jeremy.
"Where's Elena?" The brunette asked
"Beth are you okay?" Jer questioned
"where is Elena" she repeated
"she's at the high school-" the boy didn't get to finish before Bethan stormed out of the house and headed to the high school.
The longer it took to find the doppelgänger the angrier and angrier the 5"3 Girl got. When she reached her old high school she heard a commotion coming from the gym she quickly made her way through the doors.
"Beth?" Elena asked confused to why here sister was here. The younger brunette walked up to her sister slapping her hard
"how could you Elena that's my father, MY father I didn't pick and choose when I loved him" she screamed
"Beth I can-" she was cut off by Bethan slapping her again
"and what is going on here?" A British voice spoke.
"Klaus please don't hurt her" Elena begged and that sparked Beth's interest she turned on her heels walking towards the newly turned hybrid

"your klaus?" Beth questioned
"ah good you've heard of me" he smirked, that's when her hand swiped the smirk off his face
"that's for killing father" the hybrid couldn't form words as he looked at the 17 year old who showed no fear towards who showed more balls than sailors on a Friday night at a tavern. She then slapped the other side of his face.
"that's for Jenna" she informed him and once again slapped him
"and that for failing to making sure that bitch there" Bethan pointed to Elena
"was dead" Elena was truly heart broken
Bethan Zadie Gilbert strutted out of the gym not before turning to the remaining people
"oh and y'all have a lovely evening"

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.
