"Good morning Sanjana." Karan greeted her as she walked into the mess.

"Good morning Sirji." Sanjana was massaging her head. "Sar fat raho hai. Lagta hai kal zyada ho gayi thi."

Karan and Faizi exchanged a look. Faizi took out his phone and played a video. It was a video of Sanjana and Sid dancing and talking to each other loudly. Sanjana's eyes went wide as she looked horrified and disgusted. Faizi and Karan laughed at her reaction.

"Sir ji lagta hai mujh mein mata chad gayi thi." Sanjana said.

The recruits came for their breakfast. Karan's eyes were looking for one. He didn't know if he wanted to see her or not. Monami walked into the mess room sheepishly. She remembered everything that had happened last night, and she was scared beyond her wits. A glance at Karan's black uniform, and straightaway turned around to sit with Koel. Karan was amused to see her so nervous. She kept ignoring him so he sat beside Faizi, so that he was right in front of her. Monami kept her head down and only looked at her food.

"Aakhon ki gustakhiyan maaf ho." Faizi sang. "Ek tuk tumhe dekhti hai, jo baat keh na paye zubaan, tumse yeh woh kehti hai..."

"Faizuddin Siddique, itna besura gaane se bhoot pakad lete hai." Karan said and that shut Faizi up.

Monami could feel his gaze on her. He was going to kill her on the training field today. She sighed. It was all Sid's fault for dragging her to the party. It was also her fault for getting so carried away, and it was also Khadoos Shergill's fault for coming to the same bar. Why did he have to land up in the same place as her?

"Waise tumhara aur Karan ka dance bohot sexy tha kal. #hotcouple." Chitra said.

"Shut up Chitra!" Monami said with gritted teeth. She didn't want Karan to overhear their conversation.

"Par Sumanji ko yeh samajh nahi aa raha ki yeh chal kya raha hai. Tum uss Karan se saath chipki thi aur Sid uss Sanjana ke saath. Tum dono ne kahi engagement toh nahi tod di?"

"#breakup?" Chitra asked.

"Not only that, you were calling him hotness throughout the party." Koel added.

Monami had had enough. She didn't needed to be reminded of all the bad choices she made yesterday. Her head was throbbing as it is. Keeping her tray aside, she made her way to the training field. She remembered Karan was going to make her do 300 jumping jacks. If she failed then he would throw her out of the academy.

"Rani Sahiba, aaj aap thoda jaldi nahi aa gayi?" Karan asked. "Abhi bhi 10 minutes baki hai."

Monami turned around and looked at Karan with an apologetic look. "I'm really sorry about yesterday. Woh main thodi zyada drunk ho gayi thi sir."

"Sir? Raani sahiba aap mujhe sir kabse bulane lagi?" Karan asked in a mocking tone. "As far as I remember it was hotness, right?"

Monami's cheeks turned red and she wished to hide somewhere till the end of time. Faizi came there too and smiled at Monami.

"Monami, tumhare liye bhi ek gift hai mere paas." He took out his phone and showed her the picture of her leaning on Karan. Monami felt like crying with whatever was going on. Karan glared at Faizi who quickly kept his phone back in the pocket. Monami decided to get over with it quickly.

"Main 300 jumping jacks start kar deti hu." Monami said in a sad voice.

"300 nahi, 150." Karan said.

Both Monami and Faizi looked at Karan shocked. Faizi had never seen Karan reduce someone's punishment, and Monami was shocked because he had listened to her. Last night she asked him to reduce the number of jumping jacks, and he did! It only meant that he wasn't mad at her. He wouldn't torture her. She couldn't stop the smile that crept to her lips.

"Ab smile karti rahogi ya start bhi karogi?" Karan asked. "Ya phir 300 karna hai?"

Monami shook her head, smiling. She started her jumping jacks, thinking if last night had been a blessing in disguise. Faizi was impressed to see the change in Karan, and he was impressed with Monami for softening up Khadoos Shergill.
