KARAN'S POV

Today My Ranisahiba turns 1 month old... Though it's just a number. she is way more ahead in development, but still she looks like a month old baby only.

My parents, a few pack members of the pack and i are heading over to the Mahajan's house for a small party.

Her parents didn't think she needed one , but i insisted of course My lil one is turning 1 month old it is a big deal for me... Huff

When we got to the house I am practically jumping in excitement.... If Anyone apart from my family will see me like this they will definitely declare me as a Mental but I care less I just wanna meet my Mate I am craving for her... I have already fallen for her no matter if she is a baby she is my baby

I haven't been able to see my Mona in 3 days. Even though my parents are fine with the whole age gap and mate situation but Mona's parents are not... Then too they are following my orders because I am the Alpha

Well actually her dad isn't . Jhanvi doesn't mind, her father tej is adamant on keeping his daughter away from me . He thinks by the time she will be my age , I will be too old for her... Which is true on the basis of the information he has....

But I know something he doesn't.

Something which will make him like me a little more... I wish so... But even if he doesn't I don't care as long as I have my monami by my side....

MY MONAMI sounds soo amazing isn't? Ok ok i know I am whipped yesterday only my beta and Delta cum bestfriends sid and faizi were teasing me regarding this only saying that I , ALPHA THE KARAN SHERGILL is wrapped around his 1 month old baby mate's little finger which is actually true though... I can't deny... So to shut them up I did something which always works... That is my death glare

I know they care about my baby just like me and are protective towards her as she is their future luna but sometimes the best friend under them takes over so this is necessary to keep them in check

As soon as Sid stops the car, I am the first one to get out.

I bolt to the door, speeding through the yard that's covered with different types of plants , some with flowers... My Mona's mother loves gardening

I knock loudly on the door and shifts on my feet anxiously to see my mate again. It's been too long.

The door finally opens showing jhanvi holding a squirming Monami in her arms.

My heart melts as soon as our eyes meets, i take her from her mother.

Monami smiles at me and grips on to my shirt and make small cute Happy baby noises at me

She is looking so beautiful in this red headband and cream floral frock

"Hi , baby girl,"i say, kissing her soft baby cheeks.... God yeh itne soft kyu h...

She giggles

I walk through the door and sit on the couch watching as everyone files in, holding presents for monami . But she does not notice all she looks at is ME.

"God I have missed her, her warmth, her giggles, her soft touch, I have missed my mate... You better not make we wait so much next time" My wolf says actually complaints

As the last few people files in, jhanvi comes and sits beside me

"She's been fussy these past few days" Says jhanvi , "this is the calmest I have seen her all week"

I smiled proudly, "have you missed me, little rose? " I asks her I love to give her nicknames

Monami coos , stretching her arms to me

I kiss her forehead , causing her to giggle again

Alright , alright, let's get this part over and done with" Tej announces, coming into the room

Jhanvi smacks his shoulder, "be nice tej"

He rolls his eyes, "let's just open these presents so everyone can leave"

Jhanvi groans, whereas everyone chuckles . My mother picks up the first pink present and gives it to me

I grab it and shows it to Mona , who claps her hands... Another thing she shouldn't be able to do yet

But my baby can

"You want to open it, baby? " I ask her

She smiles her gummy and tries to pull on the paper . She barely rips it

"Thik hai thik hai, let me do it for you, your highness" I say and I rip the packing paper off revealing a baby pink teether

I take the packaging off and hand it to her

She sticks it in her mouth and chews it

After 10 or more presents , everyone is ready to leave. But I still need to talk to tej. It's really important

"Jhanvi" I call, she turns her head towards me "Do you think you could hold My love for sometime? So that I can talk to tej regarding an important topic" I asks her

"Sure Alpha" She replies

As soon as I hand over my baby girl to her mother she starts to whimper.... I reach out to her kiss on her forehead and says, "just a minute baby girl I will be back soon, don't trouble mommy okay? " And she quiets down a little.. No doubt my girl is very smart

Leaving Monami with her mom I heads out towards tej

"Mind if I talk to your for a minute? "I asks him

He nods " Of course Alpha"

He offers me to sit down , and I do, preparing myself for the news that I am going to share...
