KARAN'S POV

Today is my 18th birthday. I'm glad. I 've waited for so long to find MY MATE, and today I will. Mai apna pack or better handle kr paunga fr with my mate, my luna, love with my side

I couldn't be more excited

"KARAN" my mum screams

"Everyone is here! Come down!" I give up on trying to fix my messy black hair and run downstairs smiling like a fool the whole way...

My parents ALPHA SHAKTI AND LUNA SUHANA, have invited everyone from our pack to the party, most of the people I haven't met. that's why I am so hopeful in finding my Mate.

They have even gone out of their way to invite people from other packs too so that I can find my mate easily..... See that is why I love them the most...

If I find her , we will go through the ceremony of making us officially alpha and luna tomorrow only i can't wait for long....

When I walk down the stairs I find my parents at the bottom... They smile brightly at me.

"Good luck son" My father says

"Thanks dad" I say in return and hug him... Hey I am not ruthless and merciless in front of people whom I love...

"My little baby is all grown up now, makes me feel old " , mom says and wipes her fake tears... Oh god meri drama queen.... I kiss her cheeks in return

I talk and mingle with several pack members and introduce myself to those whom I dont know ... But still I am not able to find HER... She is HIDDEN... Or may be NOT HERE😞

The thought makes my heart sink, so I quickly dismiss it, I don't want to think about that.

After an hour or so, I make my way through the whole crowd with still no luck.

"she's not here" my WOLF whimpers.

"I know" I whimper back.

I go to make my way back to my room but before I can even reach the steps, i hear a small cry... Though a melodious one but a cry followed by the best fragrance of vanilla and roses together

I turn myself towards it

A pack member whom I have never met before stands with his mate and a small baby . They're talking to my parents apologizing for being late.

"Oh, it's fine dear" My mother assures them... "If you still want to see him though, he must be somewhere around here only"

They both nod and turn their heads towards me

"MATE!" MY WOLF YELLS

I don't have time to proceed who it could be before the same melodious cry erupts... A small but the most gorgeous baby I have ever seen in the same Women's arms starts crying ...

"GO HELP MATE!" My wolf growls

"Mate is the baby?" I asked confused... No yeh nhi ho sakta, yeh kaise ho sakta hai this is not right.

"YES! GO THE HER COMFORT HER" my wolf yells this time anxiously... Angry at me for not going and comforting our mate quickly

She is still crying uncontrollably... Her parents are not able to stop her crys... They are helpless

"I don't know what's wrong with her, why is she crying like this" Her Father cries out

"Why is she being so fussy" He mother growls

I run towards them... As fast as I can.... By pushing the last couple of people before meeting my mate

Before even I am conscious of what I am doing.. I scoops her up from her mother's arms to mine and cradle her to me.... Staring into her bring blue/hazel eyes... They are hypnotizing me

She stops crying immediately.... Leaving everyone in shock

"Alpha karan, how did you do that" My mother asks

I ignore her and keep staring at the beautiful face in front of me. She's the prettiest thing I've ever laid my eyes on, even If she's only a baby

"Preety baby" I coo her

My little mate smiles at me and I smiles back at her.... "Did she just smiled?" Her father asks recovering from one shock and after getting the other. "Babies aren't supposed to do that at this age" He says

"How old is she?" I ask not taking my eyes off her preety face

"Three week" He says

So she is just a little baby. A baby that isn't supposed to start smiling just smiled at me

My wolf growls in pride

"What's her name? " I ask in a mere whisper still being enchanted by the little goddess in my arms

"Monami" Her mom answers "MONAMI MAHAJAN"

"Monami" I whisper again

"Alpha karan, I'm thankful you got our baby girl to stop crying , but how and why did you do this?" Her mom asks

"I don't know how" I answers "but she is my mate so I guess she likes me too"

At this point her father pipes up and shouts.. "WHAT? "

"My barely even a month daughter already has an eighteen years old mate? No! No way"

He grabs My monami from my arms to his , shielding her from me , My arms immediately feels cold and my wolf whimpers.

But I don't seemed to be the only person affected ... Because the second her father scoops her out from my arms she starts crying... This time more uncontrollably....

Her father freaks out

"Jhanvi, I don't know what I did? Why our princess again started crying" His father cries

Jhanvi , her mother grabs her from his father and coos her "shh... Baby it's alright darling"

But she starts crying harder...

And next what she does just shooks me to the core not only me all the people present their stares at her like anything...

She actually reached her arms out for me .. Something a normal baby of her age wouldn't do... But here is she My luna, My Mate, My ranisahiba.... She is indeed special

Recovering from the shock I reaches her...Desperate to calm her down... But the second I steps her father blocks my way

"Get away from my daughter" His father says

"SHE'S MINE " my wolf growls

I calm down my wolf...and says " I don't have any bad intentions sir... I just can't see her cry like this"

His father's scowl deepens

"Tej, tej she will cry all night and will fall ill, let Alpha calm her down" Her mother begs

Finally, Tej, her father gives up

"Fine" He grumbles "but just untill she goes to sleep , then she's going home, with her parents"

I almost don't even hear the second part because I am much more focused on my Monami, who is still trying to reach to me with her small milky hands

Jhanvi hands her to me...

I grab a hold of her and cardles her to my chest... Letting my heartbeat calm her

Her little baby face is just so perfect

She has the most beautiful hazel/blue eyes I have ever seen with milky soft skin and caramel peach fuzz... Her little plump pinky lips are curled in a small cute pout directed towards me

"Hii! Baby" I coo at her

She smile even wider now

"Aren't you a special baby? My baby?"i say when she grips onto my shirt

"Yes I think you are ranisahiba" I say

She now grabs my shirt in a tight grip... Ofc tight according to her...

"She likes us too" My wolf screams in happiness

"I know" I agree with him

And to my surprise she giggles as she sees me smiling.... She actually GIGGLES...

"Monami, My baby you are indeed a special thing" I coo her again
