《Red Feather (Hawks x Reader)》Kissed my leg then my lips

The movie was indeed scary. We were halfway through the movie when I needed to go to the bathroom, both because, well, I needed to go, and because I needed a break. I nudged him and he turned around with two Twizzlers hanging out of his mouth.
"Can you pause it? I have to use the bathroom."
He paused the TV and watch me struggle a bit to turn myself around. With my leg now numb from resting it on the ice for about an hour, it felt painful but in a different way than earlier. Earlier it was a strong but dull pain and right now because of the ice pack my leg was numb, but whenever I stood up and put pressure on my leg, it felt like it was still going to break in two.
I hobbled around the couch but at the end I couldn't use it as a crush any more and stopped. I prepared to bare the pain so Hawks wouldn't know but as soon as I took a step with my bad leg, I took a sharp breath. I almost fell, but in a flash Hawks was supporting me. He had my arm around his neck and his hand on my hip.
"(Y/n) is such a clutz", Hawks chuckled.
We walked to the bathroom with me hobbling along the whole way and after drying my hands, I looked in the mirror.
I look like a mess.
I didn't know this but my hair definitely told anyone who looked at me that I free-falled off of a building. I huffed and didn't bother fixing it, i just ruffled it around to make it look halfway decent. when i turned around my leg hit the nob that stuck out from the cabinet and cursed. I waited until the pain subsided and and looked at my leg. When I set it up on the counter to get a good look at it, I winced a bit when my leg plopped down instead of gently landing.
"You okay in there, kid?" Hawks asked through the door.
"Yeah, I'm just looking at my leg. I bumped it against the sink and there's better light in here."
"Can I come in?"
"Why do you want to come in the bathroom while I'm in here?" I giggled jokingly.
He opened the door and turned to me. Hawks grabbed me by the hips and pushed me around so I'd face him. He lifted me on the counter with ease, as if I was no more than one of his feathers. My arms were on his biceps and upon squeezing it for balance, I really got to feel his muscles. I looked down at his arm and frowned.
"What is it", Hawks questioned.
"Flex?"
He smirked and flexed his arm. My eyes widened and I squeezed it again.
"Jesus..."
He laughed and got on his knees in front of me. When he looked up at me from in between my legs I swallowed audibly and my face felt hot. I looked up and around, trying to avoid eye contact when I felt strong hands gently grab my bruised leg. I just jumped a little and looked down to see Hawks was inspecting it with serious eyes.

"Your leg is freezing."
"There was an ice pack on it."
He looked up, un-amused. "Hardy har. Well it doesn't do you good now. The ice just numbs it and keeps swelling down. You'd do good with an hour without it, then put it on again", he said while rubbing my leg.
I was honestly trying to concentrate on what he was saying but his warm hands contradicted the temperature of my shin. He took care to press lighter around the center of the bruise and instead of unnecessary pain, it felt soothing.
Oh yeah- and he was rubbing my leg.
My flush had dyed down and was now resting on my ears when he interrupted my flustered thoughts with: "(Y/n) is so red. Thinking unholy things?"
I chuckled sheepishly and was about to deny but all of my actions came to a screeching hault when he kissed my bruise. His lips rested on my leg and his eyes were closed. He did that for some odd five or six seconds. The kiss should've hurt more than it did, given the tenderness of my leg, but it was still partially numb.
I was deadly silent, not knowing what to do. He looked up at me with a lofty grin, his eyes leering at me from below. I swallowed again, not knowing what to do. He stood up, the only thing making noise and interrupting the tense quiet was his clothes rubbing against itself while he moved and my heart going absolutely insane inside my chest. He put both of his hands on either side of me, like he did earlier at the table, and leaned in. We were an inch apart and I could feel his steady breath on my face.
"(Y/n) is definitely thinking unholy things," he huffed roughly and quietly.
"W- uh... Well it's not like you're helping the situation," I stupidly said from being put on the spot.
His smirk seemed to grow more smug as he leaned in next to my ear. I stiffened and bit the inside of my cheek, trying not to freak out as his lips grazed my ear. His breath tickled and it took a lot out of me not to shrink away because of how sensitive they are.
"You'd think that after all this time of me getting close and personal, you'd get used to me being this close. I guess it is getting a little better, you used to not even be able to speak," Hawks snickered in my ear. "I want to tell you something."
I nodded, knowing that if I tried to speak, my words would fail.
"I'm not good at holding myself back from things I want, (Y/N). Self control just isn't one of my strong suits."
By this point my hands had wandered up to his chest and I was gripping onto his hoodie, and his every word.
Hawks leaned back just enough so that we were face to face again. I tried to maintain eye contact but my eyes flickered towards his lips. I tried to look back at his eyes but it was obvious he'd caught me looking. His eyes unapologetically rested on my lips as I had but instead of a quick flicker, he looked intently.

Hawks leaned in slowly and brought his lips to mine. His lips touched mine and they were slightly chapped. His mouth tasted like the candy we had been eating and I even felt some of the sugar from the Sour Patch Kids rub against my lips. We parted, and, after looking at each other for maybe a second, pushed our wanting lips back together. He seemed to decide to want to stand up straight and fixed his posture, and lifted my chin up so I'd match with his body, which was now a lot taller. His gentle hands brushed across my sides and held onto my back, and with a soft motion, pushed our torsos together so that we were pressing against eachother.
The kiss was slow and experimental. Unlike the way he talked to me to rile me up, he seemed more cautious. The kiss was sweet in more ways than one. I felt one of his hands go from my back and drag up to cup the back of my neck. We pulled apart and I was a little out of breath from shock and kissing. I looked at Hawk's face and he still had those lidded eyes, but they were no longer guarded. They looked content. His hands trailed down and rested on my hips were we just stared at each other, and after a comfortable silence he spoke.
"Lemme get the ice cream out of the freezer, and we can finish that movie, yeah?"
"Okay", I mumbled softly.
He helped me off of the counter, setting me down softly by my hips and walked me to the couch. when we both sat down, he used his feathers to grab the Ice cream and a few spoons while he threw the blanket over us. "So", he began nonchalantly, "is my jacket as soft as you hoped?"
I flipped the collar up to hide my face at the unexpected question and mumbled a 'yes'.
"Hm? I couldn't hear you over the sound of you snuggling into it," he snickered.
Hawks had his ice cream on the arm rest next to him and he seemed to be taking mine hostage, because when I reached out for it he moved his arm back. I squinted at him, catching on the the game and tried again, this time faster. But he beat me to the punch and had already moved his arm back again.
"Come on Hawks, you cant do this to me, I'm crippled," I joked.
"I mean, I guess I could," he said as he looked at me sticking my tongue out at him. "Alright, alright", he chortled.
I was about to take the lid off when I looked at the doodle that seemed to be drawn on the frost. I turned the lid around so the image would be straight and found a small cartoon chicken staring back at me. I smiled softly to myself and opened the ice cream.
"Hey Hawks?"
"Mm", he answered with a mouthful of ice cream, still intently watching the movie.
"Why do you like chickens so much. I get eating them and liking them because they taste good, but what makes you like them so much?"
"Bitches love chickens", he said bluntly.
I snorted and looked over to see him jokingly grinning back at me and we continued watching our movies. We got through a few good ones but I was falling asleep by the third. I kept nodding off and Hawks noticed.
"We could go to sleep if you want", he nudged me a bit so I would wake up a little.
I stirred a bit and let out a sleepy whine as a turned to look at him laying behind me. I realized the question he asked me and thought about weather or not I could do another movie, but thinking about the fact that I had to think this hard about a simple question like that gave me all of the answers that I needed "Mhm. Sleep sounds nice. Are you staying the night?"
He seemed to think for a moment. "Sure but I'll be gone in the morning because of work. But if I remember correctly, your day off is tomorrow, right?"
I hummed in agreement and snuggled into the laid-out futon, pulling the closest blankets over to me and spreading them over myself to keep myself warm. when that was all done I fluffed my pillow and plopped down to sleep, and when I did that, I heard a small chuckle come from Hawks.
Even through my weary eyes I could see him yawn as he turned the TV off. The light leaving the room gave my eyes almost instant relief. I heard him get comfortable next to me and when he settled, I pushed out my good leg to see how far he was. my leg touched him instantly and I quickly retreated. Hawks seemed to have the same idea as me, except he wasn't a coward about it. Hawks let out a small grunt as he shifted closer to me, so our backs touching each other, then turned onto his back so I could cuddle up against his side
I fell asleep pretty quickly and woke up later than I had expected. I knew he wouldn't be there, but I hoped still. I rolled to face where I knew he'd be absent from, and sure enough, there was nothing but a blank spot. I looked at the table beyond the futon's edge and all of the snacks were cleaned up. I knew I didn't have much to do today, except maybe clean and do boring stuff like that, so I took my sweet time waking up.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

A Warrior's Love (BL)
"Your mind is dark, your eyes are dull, your life is bleaker than feces, and your heart is covered in ash." She removed one hand to keep her veils on her head as the topmost shawl slipped down her neck. She continued to speak, "Your blood is cold. If you remain this way, you will die before you can find your love." The Krasean lowered his veil, revealing his face to us. He tipped his head upward so I can see his honey coloured eyes that were duller than his peoples'. Black eyeliner outlined the rim of his eyes, drawing attention to his enchanting eyes. "Whoever your lover is, they are your other half. You will endure hardships and pain because of them. You will also make them feel the same." She looked conflicted like she did not know whether to tell me this was good or bad. "In their eyes, you are the evilest and the godliest. How contradicting this is!" "Did you slap me?" I held the helmet between the pit of my elbow and my waist. One hand slowly reached up to rub my numb cheek. It has been forever since someone last slapped me. Now, no one who knew my identity would dare to hit me directly. "The blood coursing through your veins, it's hot and dangerous. You cannot be tamed easily and this may be the cause of your downfall." A strange grimace graced her wrinkled face. I swear to the gods she is ageing each second! "I see your fall. Someone with too much power automatically becomes a threat. You're no longer seen as an ally, but a monster."
