《Little Dark Age ◆ JeonJungkook✔》Four - Vroom Vroom, Bitches

"How can you eat that crap?" Jungkook's face twisted as you shoveled the chili ramen into you.
You paused. "I like spicy food."
He rolled his eyes. "I know you like spicy food! I was asking how you can eat that shit."
"Mmh." Your head tilted in thought, then you threw him a blank look. "It just tastes good."
You took another bite. He turned his head away in disgust, fixing the wall and covering his mouth. He'd tried the garbage you called food one single time. Even alone the memory of it made all the hair in the back of his neck stand on end. His tongue had felt numb for hours after that, at least that's what this absolute pussy had told you.
I mean, it's not like either one of you could be picky in the situations you were in.
"It stopped raining." You spoke muffled between two mouthful of ramen.
"No shit." Jungkook retorted, stretching his arms over his head groaning, "This fuckin' sucks. I mean, the prowlers are alright, but the rain-"
That was, once again, so painfully typical for him. Murderous beasts that were after his life constantly were fine, but rain pissed him off.
Granted, the rain was a bit more dangerous than it was before the outbreak of, well, whatever all this was. Acidic, probably. Like, it fucking hurt when it touched your skin and you didn't even wanna know what would happen if it got into your eyes. You basically couldn't stay outside at all while it rained.
"Don't eat too much or you'll have to piss when we're out." Jungkook pulled the paper cup out of your hands without a warning, "And we both know how much you hate that."
That was true, as a girl you didn't really like having to pee on the fucking streets - unlike a certain someone, who was really damn shameless - but you did say that you wouldn't complain in times like these.

Still, Jungkook had remembered this and always took care of finding some actual toilet for you, as embarrassed as you were about it. You hadn't even needed to mention it twice - it just came naturally to him that he'd take your personal comfort into consideration during the fucking apocalypse.
You felt yourself smile while you shouldered your old school bag, following him outside into the streets.
He kicked a puddle, water splashing while he spun his scythe around mindlessly, making you back off a meter by habit - you didn't want to die by your companion slicing your head off by accident.
Your blinked up at the sky, where grey clouds were slowly making space for the sun again, "We should get a car."
"Huh?" The scythe almost slipped his grasp, big doe eyes gawking at you in confusion, "Why?"
"It's gonna be fall soon." You answered plainly.
"So?"
"Are you kidding me? I don't wanna know what snow will to do us and I certainly don't wanna be unable to move for half the year - you know what happens when we stay at the same place for too long."
He blinked, "Uh- I didn' think about that."
You shrugged, "Thats what I'm here for, no?"
A small smile twitched over his lips, before Jungkook halted and jammed the hilt of his weapon into the ground, "Well then-" He announced, "Looks like we'll have to steal a car."
"..."
"You know how to steal cars?"
He looked very confused, "You don't?"
"What? Why would I... you know what, forget it."
"We jus' gonna search for cars that have their keys still inside- like spare keys or just keys that were left laying around when the car owners transformed." Jungkook explained calmly, eyes already set on searching for a possible candidate.

Even in a city like Seoul, it was surprisingly hard to find still-intact cars. Most cars crashed when the owners transformed, and these that were left open when people tried to flee from prowlers were most likely ruined from the inside.
It took you some time to find a vehicle you could both agree on.
"Okay, but the car is locked how are we-"
Jungkook didn't even give you a warning when he lunged out and jabbed the lower end of his scythe into the driver's window, making the alarm go off immediately, "Well, this one still works." He said gleefully.
"Jesus Christ, a warning, Kook." You clasped your racing heart, swatting his shoulder with the other hand.
He smiled sheepishly, "Sorry Chickie." Then he climbed into the car to go look for the keys.
Unfortunately, this one was a miss and you had to look for another option.
The next one seemed to make Jungkook a lot more hopeful - a large, black SUV that was still completely intact.
"Rich people are usually a lot more careless with these kinda things." He explained while climbing onto the metal step under the door.
"Why do you even know that?" You asked exasperated, question drowning in the noise of yet another window being shattered.
"Fuckin' yes!" He exclaimed delighted after diving inside once, holding up a silver key like it was a cure for all known diseases, "Told 'ya."
"I can't believe you." You mumbled, watching him rummage around to check for any prowlers inside, patiently waiting until he got out and went to the back, "...the trunk? Really?" How on earth would a prowler be in there.
He opened the lid undeterred, "Ya never know what kinda people this car belonged to."
-It's moments like that, that get you really curious about his past.
He looked around carefully, eyes scanning over every corner before his head appeared back outside.
When he had made sure that there had been no people ominously locked up in the trunk he took both your bags and threw them onto the back seats, eventually turning around to you with a cheeky grin.
"So, Hot Stuff, y'know how to drive?" His grin was impossibly large, eyes sparkling like a kid on Christmas and you wouldn't have ever believed that you would ever get to see this kind of look on someone's face ever again - until you met Jungkook.
You punched his arm, making him yelp theatrically, "I know you wanna drive badly, don't worry, I won't take away your spot."
He cackled uncontrollably, throwing his head back while doing so, one hand coming up to ruffle your hair, "Aight' but don't think you got away with this." He let go of your hair to poke your side annoyingly, "I know that you don't know how to drive at all."
"Oh, shut up." You strode past him decidedly, taking your respective place in the passenger seat, arms crossed in a sulky manner.
Jungkook looked straight out euphoric when he closed the door, honking once - twice - just because he could and starting the engine.
...
"We need fuel."
"You know how to steal fuel too, don't you?" You deadpanned accusingly.
"You're making it sound like I'm some kinda criminal, Chickie."
