《Keeping It Halal》He's MINE

Our family has known Abdu's family for three months now and Abdu and I have liked each other for three months...Well I like him. Idek if he likes me though😥. I told Mo and Dalia abt everything and they swore not to tell a soul. Right now, we were at our house and it was Abdu's 19th birthday. I got him an iPhone XR. It was 19001 dollars in Sudanese currency- Which was NOT a lot in Canadian dollars. "Hey Abdu...I got you something." I said, walking up to him and blushing. Our parents looked at us in awe. Oh and did I mention that Mohamed was here (And he was Halal Dating Dalia✌)?! Oh and by the way, Mohamed and May turned 19 a month ago and Dalia turned 17 a few days ago actually. Mohamed bought her a bag full of Bath And Body Works stuff. Mama said that he should have bought things that were more expensive. Oh, Arab Moms🙄. "Thank you Mariam! You didn't have to!" He said happily. I couldn't believe that I was going to spend the rest of my life with Abdu...MY Abdu❤. Just then, I got a call from Marwan. UGH! This is the FIFTH one this week! What did he want?! "Sorry, I gotta answer this." I said, dashing into my room. "What do you WANT?" I asked bored. "Calm down. Wassup?" He asked. "The SKY." I said and ended the phone call. I took a deep breath and darted downstairs. "Sorry. Cousin called." I said. "Which one?" Mama asked, concerned. "Ok let's get the cake!" Baba said. I think he KNEW I was talking to Marwan😩. We cut the cake and Abdu sat beside me. "Hey." He said and nudged me. "Hey- Oh wait! You got a little something on your nose." I said and put a bit of icing on his nose. He did it back to me. "I lo-" He started. "You know what I mean, right?" He smirked and I nodded. "I do too. So much." I said. We ate our cake, then it was time for them to leave. "Ahhhh what a day!" I said, then flopped on my bed. Everyone was in bed already. I decided to turn my phone on and read a book on Wattpad. I was reading With You (Adam Saleh Fanfiction) by . It reminded me of Dalia, so I connected my Airpods and called her on Houseparty. She picked up! "Hey girl!" She yawned. "How is it with your man?" She asked. "Are you sleepy?" I started and she shook her head. "How about you and my brother? Whatspoppin'?" I asked. "Don't mind me just watchin'. Haha! Oh Marwan is online, can I invite him to the House?" Dalia asked. Ugh nooooooooo! "Yea of course." I said, swishing my thoughts away. I REALLY didn't want to talk to HIM. "FINALLY we can talk! Wassup gang? And Mariam, why did you just decline the call so rudely?" He asked, offended. "It was my boyfriend, Abdu's birthday, so I had to go because we were going to eat cake." I answered. "Your..Boyfriend? You have a boyfriend? Oh I didn't know." He said, in a funny question tone. "Yea. Ok I gotta get to bed. I love y'all fam." I said. They all laughed and I left the house. As in houseparty. Ok, time to SLEEP!!!!!!!!! I thought.

*TOMORROW*
"Ahhhh." I said. I got up and got dressed for school. I decided to wear an orange shirt-dress and some cuffed skinny jeans. "You gon' wear some makeup with that?" Mohamed asked me. I hugged him. "Harry Potter after school?" I asked him. He promised he'd watch it with me. "You know it girl! Sorcerer's Stone." He shot back. I put a little bit of nude lip tint on to top it off. Beeeeeeep! I heard from outside the window. It was ADBU! Abdu was driving me to school today. He finished Highschool already. "Ugh I'm sixteen. I wish I was nineteen like you so that I wouldn't have to go to school." I groaned, as I hopped into the car with Mohamed. Mohamed and him were going to My Place, a crêpe café, ONLY THE BEST! "Kay baiii! I love you both." I said. They waved their hands and I left them. Just then, I got a text. Ugh, Marwan.

Obligate of a Self-Ordained Sorcerer
Come join the Discord! It was a typical late-night friday for Mara, secluded in her apartment in front of a digital expanse, relentlessly mashing code into a keyboard. An introverted workaholic, but this was what she wanted - what she had strived so hard to achieve. So why did she feel so lost? Her life was productive, comfortable, satisfying. Plenty had it worse but she still felt... ungrateful? Stunted? The right word escaped her, but she could feel the general revelation settling upon her. With it came a choice that would set events in motion far beyond the meager scope of a 'New Game+'. So taking an intrusive portal to god-knows-where, Mara will come to find that her new world offers boons and banes with equal abandon. Magic, skills, and unforgiving difficulty. For a frail human shut-in, finding herself stranded in the middle of a sprawling dungeon was one of the least desirable outcomes. Food and water would be the least of her problems, why oh why couldn't she just get summoned by some pervy king to slay a demon army or something? This is a story of magic and adventure with skills and stats galore. A litrpg / isekai epic that I've been inspired to make after years of wonderful works like "So I'm a Spider," "Rimuru the Slime," "Azarinth Healer," "Negima!?," and plethora of other isekai and fantasy novels and animes. Special shout-out to Douglas Adams, a big influence on narative humor that's had a non-insignificant effect on my writing style. I hope you enjoy joining Mara on her journey as I attempt to scratch the itch they left behind.Chapters target 3-6k~ words. Though I'm personally aiming for a chapter every couple weeks, I think I can at least promise one a month with how busy work's been. I made a Patreon due to requests, if you'd like to support me there I'll be using it to fund artwork and RR ads for increased exposure.

Jason Darting was having a walk, like normal, when he suddenly found himself literally dragged into another dimension. Now, he has to fight ghosts, get a Class – because that’s apparently a thing – and then discover that his powers make him a target for some fanatical religion, which may or may not have an actual god behind it. He quickly decides that he should probably stay away. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have much choice, and his actions lead to him being caught up in a conflict between the fanatics and some shadowy organisation. Thankfully, while his Class does have some issues, it also has a great deal of potential, and Jason quickly discovers that this new world of fantasy is more exciting than he expected. Though as rough hands circle their way around my waist I knew it was Dominic that was holding me. "When in reality you have no control at all." My head snaps to the voice belonging to the youngest of the Valentine brothers, Dalton, as he makes his way towards me. Dominic's hand wraps around my throat possessively making me arch my back into him. This gives Delrick clear access to my lips as I look up at him, in which he wastes no time. His lips meet my own hungrily. "Who do you belong to Annalise." Dalton gathers my blonde hair into his hand, tugging making me break my kiss. "Daddies."***Cover made by @brookecastellan10***
