*Time skip over to third year of college*
A calm breeze rushed through the build as Y/N closed the door. This lead to one of the halls in this building. She walked to the elevator to make her way over to Kenma's classroom. Since his class was almost finished and her class had ended earlier than normal, she wanted to pick him up for a change.
Y/N closed the zipper of her bag while she waited for Kenma, nearby his classroom. She left immediately after her class ended for their weekly dinner meeting. These day were reserved on Fridays since Kuroo had his classes later at night, making it the perfect time for the two to hang out. Kenma came right out of class and headed over to where Y/N was standing.
"Are you ready to go?" Y/N asked.
"Yeah, where should we go this time?" Kenma replied.
Y/N and Kenma began to walk out of the building and made their way out of the college campus.
"Are you craving anything?" Y/N asked.
"Maybe some ramen would be nice, is that fine?"
"Yeah that's a good choice. I guess we'll be going to a ramen bar then." Y/N decided.
Kenma pulled out his phone, from the back of his pocket, "I'll find a good place nearby."
Kenma looked through his phone while Y/N waited and watched his screen.
"What about here? Ramen Atelier Nakiryū sounds nice," Kenma continued, "it has 4.4 stars, must be decent."
"Yeah that's fine, is it far from here?" Y/N asked.
"It's far, but closer to both of our places," Kenma answered, "it's a good distance for the both of us to head home anyways."
"Then let's go, the next train is going to leave in a couple minutes." Y/N said.
The best friends headed to a train station and left for dinner. Once they made it to a nearby station, they walked the rest of the way to the restaurant. Kenma and Y/N made it to the front of the restaurant and headed in.
(This is what the front looks like btw)
Since there wasn't a line, Kenma and Y/N immediately went over to the host.
"Table for two I assume?" the host asked.
"Um yes, for two." Y/N said, holding up two fingers.
"Alright, there is a table available now," the host continued, "follow me please."
The host led them to there seats at a table. It was pretty early for dinner, so the restaurant wasn't as packed. Y/N and Kenma sat down in their seats as the host put down the menu.
"Your waiter will be out here shortly." the host said.
Y/N watched as the host walked away to help out another group of people while Kenma looked at the menu.
Y/N picked up the second menu herself, "So what are you getting?"
"I'm not sure, it all looks pretty good." Kenma replied.
"Okay, well I'll be getting the tonkotsu ramen." Y/N said.
"I'll be getting the same thing too I guess," Kenma sighed as he put the menu down, "I'm too lazy to decide."
The waiter came just in time to order the food. She had shoulder length black hair, with bangs, that complimented her dark brown eyes. For some reason, that caught Kenma's eye.
"So what can I get for the two of-" The waitress began.
Kenma and Y/N became confused on why she stopped talking all of the sudden.
Kenma began to ask the waitress, "Um is everything-"
"Wait are you Kodzuken?!" The waiter interrupted.

"Yeah I am," Kenma replied.
"Hi I'm Mai san, I'm a very big fan of yours," Mai said, "can I maybe get a selfie before I get your food?"
Kenma looked over at Y/N, wanting her to stop the interacting, but Y/N didn't know what to do."
"Kenma san says yes?" Y/N replied.
"Thank you so much," Mai said excitedly, pulling out her phone in the process.
Mai put her hand behind Kenma's chair for the selfie while Kenma awkwardly threw up a peace sign. She then put her phone away to do her job.
"So what would the two of you like today?" Mai continued.
"We would both like the tonkotsu ramen please," Kenma answered, pointing at the name from the menu.
"Is that it for today or would you like beverages?" Mai said, scribbling on her notepad.
"Two cups of ice tea would be nice thanks," Y/N replied.
"Okay, your order will be out in a sec," Mai proceeded.
The waitress walked away while Y/N put the menus back in their spots at the table.
"Well she seems nice," Y/N started.
"She's better than the other fans I've met," Kenma said, "if she doesn't spit in your food then she's a good person."
"What do you mean?" Y/N asked.
"There was this one time I was out with a partner for a group project and she ordered a drink along with me." Kenma started, "Anyways, the fan just spit in her drink so we went somewhere else for the project."
"I didn't know fans could be like that,"
"I didn't either, but there were several incidents like that too."
Mai came back with the food and drinks and quickly dropped them off. The friends said thanks for the food before eating. Y/N inspected her drink and food, while Kenma split his wooden chopsticks.
"Kenma san?" Y/N began.
"Yeah what is it?" Kenma replied.
"She's a nice person," Y/N held two thumbs up.
"Oh?" Kenma mumbled with a blush on his face.
"Yep, so I guess she's a bit different." Y/N said before eating her ramen.
A little after an hour or so, the friends were finished eating and called Mai over for the payment.
"Okay so your total is 1,621 yen," Mai said, leaving the receipt on the table, "I'll leave it here so I can help out other customers."
"Thank you," Y/N replied, "and do you mind getting me a bowl of tonkotsu ramen for take out?"
"Yeah of course," Mai replied, taking back the bill, "that will be out shortly along with the updated receipt."
Mai walked away once again as Y/N sighed in relief.
"What's the take out for?" Kenma asked.
"It's for Tetsu san, I just realized that here wasn't real food for him to eat at home."
"That makes sense, you two bought cup noodles with me last week." Kenma shrugged.
Once Mai was back, she placed both the take out and receipt down. She went off to help the table close by, who needed more water.
"Here I'll pay," Kenma offered.
"No it's fine, we can split the bill like normal." Y/N said back.
"It's fine, I'm just trying to flex my wealth on you too." Kenma said, reaching over for the bill.
Kenma put the money down including the tip. Once Mai came back and collected the money and receipt, the two left the restaurant.
"You know, I might come here again." Kenma stated once they were outside.

"I agree, the food here was pretty good," Y/N said, carefully holding onto the take out.
Kenma blushed, "Right yeah, for the food."
"We should head over to the train station now," Y/N said, checking her phone for the time, "Tetsu san is going to be home in an hour."
"Okay, I'll see you next time," Kenma said, waving good bye.
"Bye Kenma san," Y/N waved back before heading off in her own direction.
The two split up to head back to their homes. Y/N took a short walk along with train back to her home. The train was a bit crowded, but she was able to get back quickly. Once she arrived at her door, Y/N pulled out her keys to open the locked door. She entered the place and shut the door closed before taking off her ring to place it back onto the ring holder. Y/N then put her bag down and headed to her closet to get her pajamas. She decided to shower since she had nothing else to do; her work was all finished, the house was clean, and dinner was taken cared of. Y/N hopped into the shower as she felt a feeling of relief wash over her.
Winter break began the next day and would continue for the next two and a half weeks. This was reserved for time with friends and family, but most importantly for the two of them. Both were a bit too busy with college and work to even spend an entire week alone together. The luckiest they would get would be two to three days of break together with the normal schedule.
As Y/N finished up showering, she made plans in her head with her third year friends. She was supposed to visit her friends from Karasuno the following Tuesday and visit her friends from Nekoma the following Friday. On top of the plans to Nekoma, Kuroo's grandparents expects the couple and their friends to come by for a party on Christmas Eve.
Y/N finished up her skin care routine and cleaned up her clothes to drop them off into the laundry basket. She then opened up her computer to rewatch Attack on Titans, just to pass the time and wait for Kuroo to come home.
"I'm home Chibi chan," Kuroo exclaimed as he took off his shoes.
Y/N paused her anime and switched to an empty tab. She sat up to look past her computer to see Kuroo closing the door and placing his ring on the ring holder.
"Hey Tetsu san, you're home early," Y/N replied.
Kuroo proceeded to put his school bag and sit in the seat in front of Y/N. He rested his head down on the table and sighed tiredly.
"Luckily the professor was busy today so my last class of the day was cancelled," Kuroo sighed, "no homework for me though, so that's a plus."
Y/N smiled as she shut her computer down.
"Do you want to eat dinner? Kenma san and I went out and I got you take out?" Y/N asked, as she came over to Kuroo's side.
Kuroo turned his head over to face Y/N and flashed her a tired smile, "Yeah that would be great thanks. I'll just go shower first, do you mind heating it up for me."
"Yeah no problem," Y/N replied.
"Thank you so much," Kuroo thanked once again.
Kuroo held onto Y/N's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze before they split off to do their own work. Kuroo left to get his clothes and shower while Y/N took a break from anime to heat up Kuroo's dinner. Once Kuroo was out of the shower, he was more awake and lively. Kuroo wore a pair of sweats and a plain black t-shirt, which was his favorite pajamas to lounge in.
"So what did you get me?" Kuroo asked as he waited behind Y/N near the microwave.
"Kenma san and I went to eat at a ramen bar so we got you tonkotsu ramen," Y/N replied.
The ramen was done heating in the microwave and Y/N took the bowl out. Kuroo go himself a pair of chopsticks and Y/N brought the hot bowl of ramen over to their dinner table. He sat and and whispered "thanks for the food". Y/N walked back to the kitchen to put the mittens back in the drawer before sitting back down at the dinner table to read online manga (or manhua/ manhwa iykyk).
"So what are you doing right now?" Kuroo asked, before taking another bite of his food.
"I'm just reading stuff, why'd you ask?" Y/N replied, eyes leaving the screen.
Kuroo was curious since Y/N normally reads on her phone.
"What are you reading? Is it safe enough for you to read on the computer?" Kuroo joked.
"In a way yes, it's not like Golden Sparkle or BJ Alex or something." Y/N admitted (don't google if you don't know what this is).
Kuroo paused for a second before eating some more food. Y/N was now confused on why Kuroo was speechless for a second.
"Um is everything alright?" Y/N asked, closing her computer screen down.
"Yes everything is fine, I just didn't expect that answer," Kuroo replied, "cause you know, sometimes you stay up to read that."
Y/N paused before answering, "I ... that's fair."
Silence filled the apartment with small slurping noises coming from Kuroo, who was finishing up his food.
"I was wondering, do you have work anytime soon?" Kuroo asked.
"No not really why?" Y/N questioned.
"Are you free tomorrow then?"
"Yeah, it's winter break after all."
"Then let's go on a date. We haven't gone on one in a while or spent a lot of alone time together right?" Kuroo suggested.
"That sounds nice, I'm sure you're free right?" Y/N replied.
"Yeah of course I am, why else would I ask for tomorrow." Kuroo teased, walking over to poke Y/N's cheek, "anyways we can make random plans tomorrow, I need some sleep school today was so tiring."
"Okay, you want me to wash the dishes for you?" Y/N offered.
"No it's fine, it's the least I can do cause you got me dinner," Kuroo replied, as he began his job, "you should sleep earlier today, even though it's break we do have plans for tomorrow."
Y/N nodded in agreement, "You should get more sleep than me though, since you're more tired."
"Right right," Kuroo said back, smiling to himself.
Y/N went back to reading the new episodes that updated on Fridays while Kuroo got ready for bed. Even though it was 8 pm, Kuroo had already passed out on the bed while Y/N switched tabs to keep on watching Attack on Titan.
A couple hours had passed and it was currently 11 pm. Y/N brought her computer over to the kitchen table so she could watch while she made some tea. She got a tea bag from the cupboard and put some hot water into a mug, as carefully as possible just so Kuroo wouldn't wake up.
Kuroo stirred up to turn over and adjust his position. He looked out the opened door to see the kitchen lights still on. His eyes squinted to see if he was right, and of course he was. Kuroo looked to his side to check if Y/N was asleep, but her side was empty and cold. Kuroo rushed from his bed to see Y/N making tea once he was out of the bed room.
Y/N turned around and her expression changed to a mix of confusion and shock. Y/N saw a shirtless Kuroo who looked a bit angry. She was scared that she had accidentally made too much noise and woke him up.
Y/N panicked a bit, "Sorry Tetsuro san, was I too loud?"
Kuroo didn't answer and paused her anime and closed the laptop down without a word. He proceeded to pick Y/N up and carried her to bed. Kuroo placed her on the bed and tiredly wrapped Y/N up in the blankets. He continued to lay down and cuddled her to sleep once more. Throughout this though, Y/N was too confused to say a word.
"Um Tetsu-" Y/N began.
Kuroo interrupted her, "Shhh just go to sleep, you promised me that you would be in bed earlier today."
Kuroo pulled Y/N closer to him and planted a couple kisses on the top of her head. Y/N couldn't do anything about it since she was trapped in the blanket, Kuroo had wrapped her in before. Kuroo placed his chin on top of her head before dozing off once again. After realizing that he was asleep, Y/N decided to sleep as she buried her head into his chest.
The next day arrived and Y/N woke up earlier than Kuroo, which was a bit unusual. The blankets unraveled over night, so it was easier for Y/N to get out of bed. She adjusted the blanket on Kuroo to place it on to his back and over his shoulder. Before she left completely, Y/N turned around, while sitting on the edge of the bed she admired Kuroo for a bit. He had his normal sleeping position: face between his two pillows while laying on his chest. Kuroo looked too calm and ethreal, it was hard to look away.
"I should probably wake up before he does," Y/N thought to herself, as she began to stand up.
She felt a hand on her wrist, pulling her back on the bed. It was Kuroo, who was all over her now. He had his arms around her and his leg was thrown over her own's.
Kuroo exhaled as he closed his eyes again, "Please don't leave, the bed gets cold without you here."
Kuroo was now spooning Y/N, who had her eyes closed once again. As his leg was still thrown over her's, Kuroo had both of his arms around Y/N just to hold her close.
"Tetsuro san, I should make breakfast for the two of us now." Y/N said, as her hand crept up to hold his arms.
Kuroo replied in his sleepy voice, "We can go to a cafe or something before our date."
"I've been wanting to do this for a while, since we were too busy." Kuroo continued.
Y/N nodded and closed her eyes again to lay there with Kuroo. She could feel his soft breath on the top of her head as he breathed in and out. The two stayed like that for a while as soft breaths filled the quiet room. Kuroo whispered to himself, just quiet enough for himself to hear, but Y/N caught the last few words. The words rung in her head as she felt a blush growing on her face.
"I love you Chibi chan, I really do."

8 194A Soul's Wish
Hey everyone! Just a heads up. I am adding the Traumatising content tag because some parts might be considered as, well, traumatising. I want to point out though, it is not my aim to make a story that focuses on this aspect. Yuki is a college freshman that has been pulled into a fantasy world full of magic and monsters. Without any special talents, at level one, and with only a mere wisp as a companion he will need to figure out how to survive in the hostile environment. As he grows stronger and travels across this new world, he will find friends, make enemies, learn betrayal, overcome obstacles and grow into a hero. Hopefully. His goal? To save a princess, of course. A classic adventure fantasy story set in another world. Cover by the lovely Sara Lucasi Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/saralucasi/
8 137A Magic of Man
A collaborative project written by u/Alex_146 and u/107Zombly on the HFY subreddit Since the beginning of time, whenever a great evil threatened the world, the proud Kingdom of Lavra would summon heroes to end the great evil and save the world. Tales of grand adventures, of heroic party members facing against the odds and coming out on top would spread all across the continent. So when news came of a new dark lord arose from the snowy tundras of the northern continent, armies of mages assembled to conduct the summoning ritual once more. However, this time, the summoned heroes seem to act a little erratically. Instead of honorably taking up the sacred quest with glee and excitement, these heroes were a little more than reluctant. And what does "Engineer" mean anyway? Updates whenever we finish a new chapter
