(Still January, weekend game)

*Time skip to a day before that one actual OVA in Haikyuu*

Today Y/N woke up at 3:30 am, so she could board a couple trains to Nerima City. She got up to change and to complete her morning routine. She got all of her things together for example, her phone, hand sanitizer, charger(s), and money. She put all of her extra items into a small backpack and grabbed her suitcase/ duffel bag (whatever you prefer). She also brought along Japanese Lemon Cookies and some Meiji Dark Chocolate Bars for Kuroo's grand parents. Y/N then locked her apartment up and headed to her favorite cafe for take out breakfast. After that, Y/N headed over to the train station to board her first train of the day. She ate on the train and dropped off her trash on the next train ride.

*Time skipp to after the train rides please *

Y/N got off at the last train station and waited for Kuroo to pick her up. Since he was supposed to bring her to his house, it was the best option for the two. Y/N waited or a couple minutes until she felt someone hugging her from behind and they had put their chin on the top of her head.

"Good morning Chibi chan, I missed you so much." Kuroo said as he hugged her tighter.

"Good morning Tetsu san, I missed you too." Y/N said with a giggle, "but you know we were only apart for two weeks right?"

"Yeah but two weeks is so long, now give me a kiss please." Kuroo whine as he let go of Y/N.

"Yeah of course bend down a bit please." Y/N ordered cheerfully.

Kuroo bent down to give Y/N a kiss. She placed a peck on his lips as she cupped his face gently.

"One more please Chibi chan," Kuroo begged with a smile.

"No thank you," Y/N joked with a smile, "Tetsu sa-"

Kuroo just cupped her face and kissed her a bit harshly, but just enough so that Y/N can enjoy it.

"Can you repeat that again for me?" Kuroo teased.

"No thank you Tetsu san?" Y/N said looking pretty confused.

Kuroo just placed another kiss on her lips before saying, "Alright then, let's get going my grandparents want us back there by 8:30."

"That's perfect Tetsu san," Y/N said as she grabbed her suitcase/ duffel bag. Before she could touch it though, Kuroo took them and started to walk away.

"Um you know I could carry that right?" Y/N informed.

"Yeah but I don't want you getting tired, so I'm not letting you near this until we get to my house."

"Oh okay well how are we getting to you house?"

"We'll be going by taxi," Kuroo answered as he pointed to the taxi that they were, "how do you feel about meeting my grandparents by the way."

"Well I'm excited to meet them, it's just that I'm worried if they don't like me." Y/N said as the two settled into the taxi.

"I wouldn't be worried about that, I'm sure that they'll like you." Kuroo said after he put the suitcase in the back and sat down.

"I'll try my best to get on their good side, I got them stuff too."

"Hey Y/N chan, there's nothing to worry about alright," Kuroo said as he cupped Y/N's face, "I'm very sure that they'll like you a lot."

"Thanks Tetsu san," Y/N replied with a smile.

Y/N kissed Kuroo's forehead before he said to the driver, "I would like to go to our first destination please."

"Alright son." the foreign driver said.

The two drove to the house in a matter of minutes, since the station wasn't far from Kuroo's house. The two got dropped off and Kuroo paid the driver. Both of them walked over to the door and rung the bell. The door was opened by both of his grandparents. His grandma had grey hair tied into a low bun and was pretty tall like around 5'7. His grandpa was just a bit short than Kuroo, around 6'0 feet tall and had side part, and he also wore glasses.

"Hey Jiji san Baba san meet my girlfriend Y/N chan," Kuroo said gesturing to Y/N.

"Hello Ojii san Obaa s-" Y/N started as she bowed down for respect.

"So this is Y/N chan," Kuroo's grandma said as she gave Y/N a hug, "thank you for making my son so happy."

Kuroo also joined in the hug along with Kuroo's grandpa. Y/N was surprised at first but she then hugged them back.

"You see, our Tetsuro chan here talks a lot about you at home," Kuroo's grandpa said after everyone let Y/N go, "so we practically know your personality, but of course not as much as our grandson does.

"Oh and Y/N chan there is no need to call us that," Kuroo's grandma said, "call me Baba san and call my husband Jiji san."

(From now on Kuroo's grandpa's name will be Eiji and his grandma's name is Ami)

"You are welcome to come in by the way," Kuroo's grandpa said in a slightly elderly tone, "do you need help adjusting into Tetsuro chan's room."

"Oh no that's alright um Jiji san, I can do this myself." Y/N replied with a smile, "Oh and I have presents as well, for Baba san I have lemon cookies and I brought you dark chocolate."

"Y/N chan, you know you didn't need to get us this right." Ami said.

"Yes but I did anyways." Y/N replied as she handed Eiji his present.

"Oh how did you know these were my favorite." Eiji said as he received his gift.

"I asked Tetsu san what you two liked and I went out to buy the ones that I thought were good enough." Y/N said.

"Well thank you Y/N chan," Ami said with a smile.

"Tetsuro chan why don't you go help your girlfriend alright, your grandpa and I will clean up our appearance a bit before we go." Ami said with a grin.

"Okay Baba san, let's get going okay Chibi chan follow me." Kuroo said with a smile as he softly rushed Y/N up stairs.

Ami and Eiji smiled at how far their grandson has come and his nick name for his girl friend.

"Remember when you used to give me a nickname," Ami said to her husband.

"Yeah I called you dopamine back in the days," Eiji said.

Meanwhile the older couple talked as they get ready, Kuroo and Y/N were up stairs organizing somethings.

"Here lemme put your stuff away," Kuroo said as he took Y/N's suitcase.

"Okay then," Y/N said as she sat down on Kuroo's bed, "hey Tetsu san, your grandparents said-"

"Oh about that, um sorry I didn't tell you," Kuroo interrupted as he made his way to Y/N, standing in front of her, "I planned to go on a date with you today but I also wanted to bring my grandparents along so you guys would talk and get closer."

"Oh I actually don't mind, I was hoping to get closer to them anyways." Y/N said as she looked up at Kuroo with a smile.

"Thanks Chibi chan, I promise today will be really fun." Kuroo said as he knelt down to pull Y/N into a tight hug.

Y/N returned the favor of course and said, "Of course it'll be fun, but where are we going exactly."

"Today we're going to Sunshine Aquarium," Kuroo exclaimed with a smile after he let go of Y/N.

"Hey you two let's get going now," Eiji yelled to the couple upstairs.

"Okay Jiji san," Kuroo yelled back, "we'll be right down."

Kuroo then looked at Y/N who was putting her mini backpack on and said, "Let's get going now shall we."

"Yeah of course," Y/n said as the two walked out the room and down the stairs, "how are we getting there by the way?"

"We'll be going by car, my grandpa is driving by the way." Kuroo noted.

The family along with Y/N settled into the car. The car was incredibly clean from the inside and out. There were five black car seats and the outside color was a nice light grey. Y/N sat in the back with Kuroo and his grandparents sat in the front; his grandma sitting in the shot gun seat.

"Alright well are you guys ready to go yet?" Ami asked.

"Yeah we're ready Jiji san," Kuroo replied.

"Kay well let's get going," Eiji said.

On the way there, some conversations popped up about Y/N. Since it was only a 20 minute drive there, it didn't take long for the group. They parked somewhere near the aquarium and walked in there. Kuroo had planned this a while ago and received online tickets from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

How the tickets work in here is that you could leave the aquarium for lunch or something, how ever long you want, and then come back with those tickets. They will not get lost until you have lost your phone because it is online. Thank you for your time and let's continue with the story!!

* Kuroo's POV btw *

My girlfriend, my grandparents, and I came into the place after my tickets were scanned. I looked over at Y/N as she was talking with my grandparents, admiring the place. I smiled at the fact that they were getting along well and that everyone looked so happy. We started to go deeper into the aquarium and saw many things. This included all sorts of fish, that I could in fact name.

"So how is the aquarium so far?" I asked everyone.

"Oh Tetsuro chan, you know that it has only been 8 minutes or so when we came in," Ami replied.

I gave my grandma a smile before looking over at my girlfriend, who was looking at a Sea Horse with my grandpa.

"Ah Tetsu san, come over here and take a look," Y/N said excitedly, "the Sea Horse is is pregnant, Jiji san just pointed that out."

"Oh wow it is," I said looking at the Sea Horse as well.

My grandma was taking a couple pictures of us admiring the Sea Horses before we left that part of the aquarium.

"I was wondering Obaa san," Y/N said as she walked along with Ami, "what do you work as."

"Ah you see I worked as a teacher back in the day, since I have retired I work as a tutor for children," Ami replied looking down at Y/N, "if you were wondering, my husband owns a library somewhere in Tokyo."

While Y/N and my grandma were talking, I was having a chat with my grandpa.

"Tetsuro chan, how did you meet her," Eiji said wondering what happened.

"Oh I first met her at a practice match against Karasuno," I explained, "she's actually the manager there."

"Ah okay that makes sense, well how did you get her to date you," Eiji said as the two walked together.

"I asked her out at a training camp a long while ago," I said as I took a glance at Y/N.

"Do you want to head up to the next level now?" Ami asked the males, "We have looked around the first level for a while."

"Yeah of course let's get going then," Eiji agreed.

My grandparents, Y/N, and I walked to the elevators to get to the next level. I tickled Y/N's hand a bit to show her that I wanted to hold hands and she took the hint. I snaked my right arm around her chest and pulled her into a hug, while using my left hand to hold her hand. I could tell that Y/N was looking at my hand and saw the couple ring, meaning that we matched that day. I could also tell that she was smiling slightly at this. I couldn't see my grandparent's reaction, but I could tell that they were looking in the direction feeling a bit proud.

Everyone including me explored the second floor a bit till half way.

"Does anyone want to eat lunch now," Eiji asked the group, "it's already 12:34."

"Yeah sure are what about you Obaa san Tetsu san." Y/N agreed.

"I'm okay with that." I said as I took a hold of Y/N's hand.

"Well it's settled, let's go to lunch," Ami said, "where should we eat?"

"Oh Obaa san I got that covered," I said, "I researched this before and found a nearby restaurant and it serves Japanese food just how you guys like it."

We all walked out the aquarium and walked to the restaurant, since it wasn't that far from here. My grandparents were quite fit for their age so they made it there without feeling too tired. When we arrived, there was a good amount of people dining there, but there was enough space for us all to sit down.

The restaurant was well decorated and it looked like a normal Japanese restaurant. There were a few small trees here and there. The tables, chairs, and counters were mostly made of wood. The place looked incredibly clean and everyone here looked satisfied.

"So what should we all get," Eiji said as he sat down in his seat.

"Well let's take a look at the menu first and then we'll decide," Ami said replying to her husband's question.

After a while of deciding, the waiter came by to take our order.

"Hello would you like for me to take your order now or later?" the waiter asked.

"I'll take it now please," I replied.

"Okay what would you like today sir?" the waiter asked once again.

"I'll have a grilled salted mackerel pike and my girlfriend will have a Kitsune Udon," I answered, "and my grandparents would like to share the large bento box please."

"Is that it for today?" the waiter asked.

"Yes that is it," I replied, "thank you by the way."

"You're welcome and your food will be out in a short bit." the waiter said.

"Teturo san how come you always get that whenever we go somewhere?" Eiji asked.

"Well it is my favorite food Jiji san." I replied as I touched the nape of my neck.

"Alright well let's get to know your girlfriend a bit more shall we." Eiji said.

"So Y/N chan, do you live with your parents?" Ami asked.

"Oh no, I live by myself and work a job to pay my rent off." Y/N replied.

"Oh wow how responsible," Eiji said, "so what do you work as."

"I work at a cafe with my friend, but the pay is really high because my friend and I co run it," Y/N explained, "the real boss is working on another shop somewhere in Tokyo."

"At this young age, Y/N chan you are practically an adult now," Ami said, "at this age our Tetsuro chan can't even do that."

"Well Tetsu san is the captain of his volleyball team and he is really smart," Y/N pointed out, "I think he's more responsible than me."

"Here is your food," the waiter said as he place the food down on the table.

We all said thanks for the food before digging in.

"Ah Jiji san Obaa san are you coming to Tetsu san's game tomorrow?" Y/N asked.

"You see only I come to his games, his JIji san doesn't really like seeing him play sports." Ami said.

"Well I don't support Tetsuro chan in sports, it will distract him from his learning and it will cause problems in the future." Eiji commented.

"Yeah Chibi chan, my grandpa never goes to my games," I said as I took a bite of my food, "but that's alright as long as you come along it's fine."

"Um let's lighten up the mood a bit with some more questions," Y/N suggested, "Jiji san Obaa san what are your hobbies?"

The rest of the time we all talked about the most random things, but I could tell that Y/n felt bad for me. I shook this off though and finished up my food. After lunch we all walked back to the aquarium to take a look at the place. We all made it to the second floor and the third floor, at the top of the building, by the end of the day. Many new animals were introduced on every level. Some interesting conversations came up about Y/N and I, throughout the day.

After exploring the place a bit more it was already 7:00pm, that meant that we only had an hour left. Y/n pointed that out and we all decided to go out to dinner before coming home. I was glad that my grandparents are getting close to Y/N. We all settled for a restaurant on the way home. We ate, talked, and had some fun before coming home.

"Alright kids we are home now so why don't you two go and take a shower," Ami said as Eiji was opening the door, "and make sure you two get some well deserve sleep, tomorrow you have a game to catch."

"Okay Obaa san, good night and thank you for today." Y/N said after everyone came into the house.

"Kay Obaa san good night," I said right after.

(Just imagine that the house has nice AC, because that's just great)

Kuroo and Y/N walked up stairs to Kuroo's room to take a shower, separately of course.

"Hey Chibi chan, why don't you go shower first alright," Kuroo said as he caressed Y/N's face," I'll shower right after."

"Okay Tetsu san, I'll go get my clothes now." Y/N said as Kuroo planted a small peck on her forehead.

"I wanted to do that all day," Kuroo said as he pulled Y/N into a hug.

"You know you could've done that right, plus you did kiss me this morning," Y/n pointed out.

"Yeah but I don't know if my grandparents were okay with PDA," Kuroo whined, "now give me a kiss before you go please."

"Alright just one okay," Y/N said, "and then I'll go take a sho-"

Kuroo interrupted her with a kiss. He cupped her face gently before giving her another round of kisses.

"Okay now you can go shower, goodbye Chibi chan," Kuroo said as he rushed her into the shower."

"That wasn't one kiss," Y/N thought with a blush.

"Here are your clothes by the way," Kuroo said as he opened the door slightly to drop the clothes off on the bathroom counter.

She looked in the mirror and saw that her lips were slightly swollen, but it wasn't bad. Y/N remembered that Kuroo had bit her lip a bit when they were kissing, but she didn't mind. Y/N took a well deserved shower and came out wearing a simple black t-shirt and track shorts.

"Um Tetsu san, I'm done you should go shower now," Y/N suggested as she closed the bathroom door.

"Okay then Chibi chan," Kuroo said as he made his way to her, just to give her a short pat on the head, "but let's go dry your hair first before I shower."

Kuroo carried her bridal style on to the bed and laid her down gently. Y/N sat up while Kuroo went to go get the hair dryer. The two sat down so Kuroo could dry Y/N's hair. After a while of drying and brushing, Kuroo was finished.

"Okay now were done Chibi chan," Kuroo said as he hugged Y/N tightly from behind.

He leaned his chest against Y/N's back and put his chin on her right shoulder. Kuroo then buried his face into the crook of Y/N's neck and gave it some soft kisses, causing Y/N to shudder at the feeling. He squeezed her a bit tighter before whispering into her ear saying, "I'll go take a quick shower now alright Chibi chan, I really like you okay."

Kuroo gave her a mini peck in the top of her head before making his way to the bathroom, picking up is already set out clothes on the way. Y/N heard the door close as she laid down on the bed with a blush of course. She turned to her side facing the door and saw Kuroo's jersey, hanging behind the almost closed door. Y/N was tempted to try it on so she sat up and made her way there. She unhooked the jersey from the hanger and smelled it for a second.

"Hmm it smells just like Tetsu san," Y/N thought as she made her way to the bed, "he must've gotten a new uniform or something, it looks new."

Y/N took off her shirt to slip Kuroo's jersey on. After she pulled the hem of the down properly, she adjusted the collar a bit.

"Hey Chibi chan have you seen-" Kuroo started as he blushed, finishing the last part with a small pause, "my phone anywhere,"
