(Still Winter and it's New Years Week)
*Third person POV*
Y/N woke up this morning with a couple jobs to do. Today she was meeting up with Sugawara, Daichi, Asahi, and Kiyoko to pray at a shrine (remember that one episode where they were praying to together, yeah). She also had work at the shop along with Kiyoko. Y/N sat up and walked to her apartment bathroom to do her morning routine. She got changed and made (insert whatever breakfast) to eat. Y/N then left her apartment, only carrying her keys, her phone, her wallet, and the keys to her workplace.
(That's what everyone was wearing and you were wearing this, but feel free to use anything else)
Y/N boarded a train to the closest train station near the shrine. She walked out and saw Kiyoko coming out of another passenger car.
"Oh hey Y/N chan," Kiyoko said as she headed in Y/N's direction.
"Hey Kiyoko san," Y/N said in a cheerful tone, "how'd you sleep?"
"I slept well, what about you?" Kiyoko replied as the two started walking out the station.
"I also slept well," Y/N responded.
"Do you think the guys are coming in early or on time?" Kiyoko wondered asking Y/N.
"Well knowing them, they aren't like our first years," Y/N replied, "so I think they'll arrive on time."
"That's true," Kiyoko agreed.
"How do you think work will go today," Y/N said as the two took a turn on the street.
"What do you mean by that?" Kiyoko asked back.
"Like do you think today would be easy like last week?" Y/N replied.
"I guess so, but it all depends on the customer's mood right?" Kiyoko pointed out.
"Yeah that's true." Y/N agreed.
Kiyoko and Y/N looked ahead and saw Daichi, Sugawara, and Asahi looking at them.
"Wait sorry, did we get the time wrong," Kiyoko asked.
"No not at all," the three boys said, "happy new years."
"Ah that's a relief, happy new years by the way," Y/N said with a sigh.
"The three of us just came way too early." Asahi admitted.
"Should we get going now?" Daichi asked.
Everyone said something along the lines of a "yes" and went to the shrine. The four of the climb a flight of stair to get to the shrine.
"It's our first time doing a shrine visit for the first day of the year together," Sugawara exclaimed, "It's our first time together. So wait what was last year then, just a random shrine visit?."
There was an obvious silence until Sugawara spoke up and exclaimed, "Hey! Come on now say something you guys."
"No! You need to calm down Sugawara san," Daichi commented, "and you should at least react a bit more, you're barely breathing."
"What does this have to to with me?" Asahi asked looking quite confused. Y/N and Kiyoko were in the back giggling that the episode in front of them.

"Hey Suga san, you could still talk to me." Y/N said as both her and Kiyoko caught up with the guys, on the same stair step.
"See at least Y/N chan is supportive of me." Sugawara said.
After a couple minutes of walking and talking, the group finally made it to the shrine. They waite for their turn at the shrine to pray. The older couple before had just finished and they have walked away. Kiyoko, Y/N, Daichi, Asahi, and Sugawara finally got to pray (I'm sorry if this isn't your religion, this isn't mine either but the haikyuu characters are). They all finished praying and walked to the fortune area.
"I'll go get a fortune now," Sugawara stated.
"Me too, I don't remember the last time I got one." Daichi added.
"Are you getting one Asahi san?" Y/n asked.
"No I'm okay, I'd probably get a really depressing one anyways." Asahi replied.
"Hey come one now, go get one and then we can all read each other's fortunes together." Sugawara said trying to lighten the mood up.
Asahi and ther other picked up a fortune and read it to each other in a corner near the shrine.
"Hahahaha are you kidding me." Sugawara said laughing out loud.
"That's some skill," Daichi commented.
"Hey it's not my fault that I get bad luck." Asahi said trying to defend himself.
Kiyoko and Y/N stood there slightly laughing as well.
"If you got a "great curse" it'd actually be funnier or even lucky." Sugawara said, "but you just got a boring curse."
"It's like one of those morning news fortunes," Kiyoko added.
"Shut up! What the hell did you four get, then?!" Asahi exclaimed.
"Future blessing," Sugawara and Daichi said at the same time.
"Same for us," Kiyoko and Y/N said in unison.
"That's way for plain and boring!" Asahi yelled.
The group soon took a hike back down the mountain.
"Hmm come to think about it," Daichi started, "when you go to a shrine, you're supposed to be thankful for everyday things, rather than asking the gods for things."
"Huh? But I asked for some many things..." Asahi replied, "Like concerning our matches and even my future, I even asked for good health for the dog next door."
"The gods must be pretty annoyed with you huh Asahi san." Y/N commented with a giggle.
Kiyoko, Daichi, and Sugawara cracked a smile at that joke. "I mean the gods aren't that forgiving." Daichi added.
"I mean, I don't blame you for at least asking for us to win." Sugawara said.
"It's not like asking the gods to help will win our matches." Kiyoko said as she stopped in her tracks. Everyone else also stopped in fear and to listen to Kiyoko.
"Uh, Shimizu san..." Daichi started.
"Right now? Did you really have to bring that up right now?" Sugawara finished.
"Don't worry," Kiyoko said, "even if the gods don't help us, we'll still be fine."

Everyone stared at Kiyoko, in awe of her short speech.
"Yes!" The rest of them cheered.
Kiyoko smile at this action and looked down at Y/N, who was cheering with Sugawara. The group finally made it down the mountain.
"Well bye guys, see you tomorrow," Y/N said as she wave a good bye, "Kiyoko and I will go work now."
"Bye Asahi san, Suga san, Daichi san," Kiyoko said waving them a good bye as well.
"Bye guys see you tomorrow." the guys waved.
"Alright well-" Y/N started, as the two walked away, but then her phone rang.
She picked it up, looked at the caller ID, and saw that it was Kuroo. Kiyoko took a look at Y/N's phone and said, "Put him on speaker Y/N chan."
"Okay then," Y/N said as she put him on speaker, "hey Tetsu san."
"Hey Chibi chan," Kuroo said over the phone.
"Hey are you okay, there's something a bit off with your voice?" Y/N asked with a worried face.
"No there's nothing wrong, I'm just lifting weights with Bokuto san right now," Kuroo replied with a small sigh, "it's work out day for the two of us."
Kiyoko looked over at Y/n and saw Y/N's pink face. Kiyoko wanted to toy with Y/N a bit so she whispered, "Hey what are you thinking about?"
"No i-it's nothing Kiyoko san," Y/N stuttered.
Even though Kuroo was over the phone, he could still hear the converstaion between Kiyoko and Y/N.
"Hey it's okay Chibi chan, you get to see something like that some day." Kuroo said trying to make Y/N blush even harder over the phone.
"Oh is that Y/N chan?!" Bokuto exclaimed.
"Yeah it is, wanna say hi to my Chibi chan." Kuroo said to Bokuto.
"Yeah of course," Bokuto said as he took Kuroo's phone, "hey hey Y/N chan, how are you doing."
"I'm doing great." Y/n replied telling Kiyoko the second part, "come say hi Kiyoko san."
"Hi guys." Kiyoko said.
"Chibi chan, who's that over the phone?" Kuroo asked taking the phone away from Bokuto.
"It's my best friend, Kiyoko san," Y/N replied, "you met her at training camp remember?"
"Was she the one that helped you throw out the trash?" Kuroo asked back.
"Yeah that's her," Y/N said, "anyways why'd you call me Tetsu san."
"Oh yeah, I wanted to hear your voice before I go on a run with Bokuto san," Kuroo said as he slipped off his shirt (his phone is now between his head and shoulder, against his ear).
"Oh well I should I let you be now or.." Y/N started.
"No keep talking to me Chibi chan, I'm just changing right now," Kuroo said casually, "so where are you right now."
"Well right now Kiyoko san and I are going to work right now," Y/N replied as she opened the cafe door with her keys.
"I hope I get to visit you while you work some day," Kuroo said with a smile laugh.
"I hope so too, and there's actually something I'd like to ask." Y/n said.
"Yeah what is it Chibi chan," Kuroo said as he slipped on a jacket, for the run.
"I was wondering what your grandpa likes, since I'm coming in for the weekend next week," Y/N said, "I wanted to get something for your grandparents. I'm getting lemon cookies for your grandma, but I don't know what to get for your grandpa."
"Well he really likes dark chocolate, but you don't need to get anything you know." Kuroo said smiling.
Y/n then replied with, "Yeah but I wanted to make a good impression with your grandparents." (remember that Kuroo's grandparents raised him)
"Okay well make sure you have fun and you are safe today," Kuroo said as he walked out the gym, "I'm going on a run now, bye Chibi chan I really like you."
"Bye Tetsu san, I really like you too." Y/N replied.
The call ended and Kiyoko looked at Y/N with a small smile.
"What is it Kiyoko san." Y/N asked.
"You guys are such a cute couple," Kiyoko said as she took off her coat.
"Well I don't think it's that special, don't couples normally do this," Y/n said as she got changed into her work clothes.
"Yeah but it's you two, I knew it since the day you two met." Kiyoko said.
"That's not true, you haven't even talked to him the first time we met," Y/N replied.
"Okay I haven't, but I did say so the first time you met so." Kiyoko said proving her point.
"Yeah you win," Y/n said giving up.
"Nice ring by the way." Kiyoko complimented, looking at Y/N's finger.
"Oh thanks," Y/N replied, "Tetsu san got it for me."
"What happened to the set that you got for him then?" Kiyoko asked.
"Oh we decided to turn my set into a necklace," Y/n answered, "because the ring I got him didn't fit." (the both of you turned your set into a necklace, his set of rings remained rings)
"Alright well we should start working now." Kiyoko stated.
"Okay I'll go open the doors," Y/n said as she left the kitchen.
"I'm making you talk about your relationship the entire day," Kiyoko exclaimed at Y/N, "so do avoid my questions!"
The cafe opened and customers started to come in. The work was hectic, but it was fun mainly because Y/N was working with Kiyoko and they were talking about relationships. Y/N would tease Kiyoko about Tanaka, but Kiyoko would then find a way to tease Y/N about Kuroo. The day ended with smiles from both the friends and the customers.

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel.
