I felt violated & detached and I would try to justify such sins.

I felt lost & frightened so I had to turn it right.

Don't show I'm hurting or the fear but you can see right through me and so can III

So, I moved to let go

Let go of those thoughts that say it's better to be right.

to be the one that's the victim

and the one being mistreated

Stop justifying yourself and be free!!!

Now I feel safe and happy.

Each conflict thrown my way I decide not to listen to the negative thoughts that overflow the board and breathe, listen in.

I am safe, world - Mind go at ease and let my heart relax for its got no more fighting to do.

Oh, now I see myself, my true potential, a glow of light even in the darkest times.

The anger boiling in has left its red work, slowly vanishing my veins and deflating my cheeks.

My negative thoughts

Don't got to be listened to

I can be free

I can notice them and sure I can judge them

but what's the point of that

Let them go, let them go free

And not only will these thoughts transform to be something new and helpful but me, me, Me! Me! I will be free!

Now the colors in my eyes, and the wave of my hair,

My body's movement of swish and swash, the way my eyelashes flutter and eyelids close will now have a color of my true essence. No longer dark or black and white, the grey is no longer a color, I allow my true colors to shine their way across and the authenticity of it to shine through the fake.
