A little white girl with everything she has ever dreamed of, a big cotton house, as she called it, was her home in a nice village. It was like a fairytale life, she was Cinderella but with no stepmother. Her father spoiled her rotten, she received dollhouses and ran in the meadows with both her parents. She grew up in a magic land with magic parents, magic animals and, she herself was also magic.

But that was when she was young, now she wants nothing to do with this fairytale of a life.

"Sweetie, breakfast is ready," the mother's voice rang through the house. No answer, only the sound of the father's steps entering the kitchen with a broad smile and swinging his tie around his neck. He pecked his wife on the cheek and sat down by the table.

"So, what's for breakfast." he smiled, picking up the fork as he put a napkin around his neck.

"Be careful with that fork, dear. Besides, we're not starting till our daughter comes," she answered.

"Sweetie, breakfast is r-,"

The sound of the door banging open echoed through the house and high heels clicked down the creaking stairs.

"Oh, there you are, dear," The mother sang brightly.

The daughter rolled her eyes and sat down: "I told you not to call me sweetie," she told her mother without even looking her way and began to scoff down the food.

"Okay swe-," the mother stopped herself from finishing that sentence and instead stared at her husband as he sat there looking up at her.

"Dear, you can begin to eat now," she told her husband and he went ahead and did so.

The mother finally sat down and inspected her family as they ate.

This family was not the way it used to be. It's so distance and it scared her to think that she was losing her daughter completely. The mother decided to forget about this and ate. She put the napkin around her neck and was about to scrap some food with the fork when the table shook.

She looked up, seeing her daughter standing up, making her chair creak and walking out of the kitchen.

"Sweetie, - I mean daughter- where are you going?" no answer, only the sound of the front door slamming shut.

The mother looked distressed and sad as she looked back at her plate.

The husband sitting across from her, watched her in sadness, hoping that one day her hopeful smile will return to her beautiful face.

"Ugh, this place is such shi-,"

"Shhh, the teacher might hear you,"

"Oh come on, like I care, and plus she's just an adult, stupid and ugly aduuults."

She took out her makeup mirror, applying some eyeliner to her face. She's become an expert at hiding her face with makeup, hiding it from her parents and sneaking it on through class.

"All done with fashion beauty," the used to be Cinderella told her friend who was sitting beside her. "How do I look?" she closed her eyes to show her friend the color of her new eye shadow.

"You are gorggggeous," she exaggerated the word and smiled at her friend, "plus, you don't need to ask me to know that you already are," she stated with a smirk.

"Yay ya, I know my self- worth," she answered.

"Delila, Sherre, is there something you'd like to share with the whole class?" the teacher asked.

The used-to- be -Cinderella that was named Delila stood up to answer.

She stood up with hands folded in front of her and began to mock with a 'good girl' answer.

"Oh, dear, miss....was that me that was talking, silly me, how could have words come out of my mouth without a man's permission, oh, I'm absolutely ridiculous to think that this mouth is my own," she answered smiling, her voice still in a squeaking matter. "Don't worry, it won't happen again," her smile brightened, towards the end of the sentence, and she sat back in her seat continuing her mocking behavior.

"Alright dear, thank you," the teacher said and turned back around towards the blackboard, ignoring the fact that she was being made fun of.

Delila and Sheer began to snicker behind the teacher's back and Delila rolled her eyes.

"Sweetie, you're back," Delila's mother chirped when she entered the home.

Delila just closed the door behind her and continued to walk ahead. Delila stopped in her room and plunged down on her bed.

This left her mother, once again, saddened at the thought of losing her daughter's happiness.

~~~~~~~~~
Delila yawned, waking up for the first time in years without feeling mad. She just stared up at the ceiling above her.
She looked up to not find her bedroom ceiling there but instead the bright blue sky shining at her.
What the?- she wondered. She stayed there laying on the grass instead of her bed and turned her head to inspect where she was.
She couldn't find the cotton house that she'd lived in for so long.
She sat up quickly, not noticing any of her surroundings as she panicked.
She stood up quickly trying to find somebody to help her.
"Hello," she yelled, calling through the empty space.
"Hi," an old man said, popping out of nowhere. The man stood by a scarecrow.
"Where did that thing come from?"
"What, you never seen a scarecrow before?" the man laughed with his thick accent showing profoundly.
Delila just stood there looking at the man with complete confusion and disgust.
"Thanks anyway," she yelled and began to run the opposite way.
She continued to run until she was stopped by a glass orb around her.
"What the?!" she looked around her and noticed that she was inside big glass.
She looked up, seeing only the blue sky but in front of her was glass surrounding this weird orb world.
"Have I been inside this my whole life," she whispered to herself.
"No dear,"
"Ahhh." she jumped back, noticing a witch in front of her on the other side of the glass.
"Wow, finally, you're afraid," the woman laughed a bit. "What happened to you?"
Delila hesitated before she answered, "When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was that I wasn't in my house."
"Ooo, interesting." the witch made a confused look.
Delila inspected the woman's gaze as she seemed to find the woman familiar.
"Nevermind," Delila thought to herself, deciding that she had never seen this woman before.
"Girl, you have seen me before,"
Delila's eyes widened, did I say that out loud?- she thought.
"No, you did not say that out loud, I can just hear you." the witch smiled, her dirty teeth showing.
"What the hell," Delila gasped, stepping a bit back.
"I am all," The woman spoke.
"What the he-" she was taken aback as she saw the woman transform into the "scarecrow" man from moments ago.
The woman-the man- laughed and then transformed into her teacher from school.
Her eyes widened once more and was about to yell out loud but was even more surprised when the witch transformed again.
The woman transformed into her mother.
Delila fell back completely on the grass. She rubbed her eyes, not believing what she was seeing.
The witch laughed.
"Now, you are stuck here, and are to see your family happy again." the woman disappeared, her laugh echoed in Delia's head.
It seemed that years had passed in the other world as she saw her gigantic mother carrying the world she was in. She heard her mother say how happy she was and kissed her husband- Delila's father.
Delila is now in a snow globe sitting on a ledge in her used-to-be cotton home, watching her family live with a new child that would've been her baby sister if she hadn't been such a fool.
