"Exactly what I said meatbag", he suddenly shot me with plasma.
Before I could react I was suddenly in Impulse' arms and outside with the rest of the team. Apparently the rest of the team had run away while I was ... Yelling at Black beetle.
"I thought you were fast but not strong , Impulse?"
"Sorry babe just thinking. Anyways your light so it's not that hard for me", I blush at his compliment.
"Sorry to ruin this very touching moment,but I need to kill you now", I gasp and see Black beetle.
I suddenly felt this great surge of confidence and shot him with an extremely powerful shot of ice, but this rage went through me and saw fire start coming out of my hands and burning Black beetle.
He screamed in rage and was about to shoot Bart and I with plasma, but a green figure came out and started to attack Black beetle.

before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.
