《The Island Princess (Edmund Pevensie x Reader)》31

Three months later...
I took a deep breath before entering the throne room. I looked at Oliver beside me. He was holding my hand. We were both nervous but they needed to know.
I had made the decision to keep the baby. Oliver and I were overjoyed, just by the thought of raising a child, but we needed to break the news first.
We both inhaled and exhaled. He opened the door. Peter, Caspian and Susan looked as the door opened.
"Hello." I said shakily.
"Umm-" said Peter. "Hi?"
I walked to Peter and Susans side. "May I talk to you for a moment?" I asked.
Caspian overheard and he decided to leave the room.
"What is it?" asked Peter. "Is there a problem?"
Oliver smiled."Oh it's far from that-"
I gently nudged his hand and he stayed quiet.
"Peter... How old was mum when she had you?" I asked.
"I don't know... 27?" he answered. "Why?"
"And you're happy she had you, right? Or you would've never been able to become King of Narnia.."
"Yes. Of course."
"What if there was someone else who could reign after us?"
"The only person who would be able to do that is if Caspian had a child-" he stopped and looked at Susan.
Susan was looking at the floor but her face was incredibly red. Susan looked up and shook her head.
Peter exhaled, relieved. He then continued, "Or any of us which I doubt would happen..." He started to go into a state of deep thought. "Well not any of us... Edmund and Y/N... It's a possibility- I mean both of them-"
"Peter." I interrupted. I gently placed my hand on my stomach. Oliver placed his hand on my stomach, too.
Peter got the message and his eyes widened in shock.
"You- you're SIXTEEN!" he shouted. The whole castle practically shook.
"Peter-"
"You disgusting pig..." He said, giving Oliver a revolted look.
He charged towards Oliver and grabbed him by the collar. "How could you do this?!"
Susan and I kept shouting Peter's name. But he was deaf and all he heard was his anger.
Edmund and Y/N came running into the room. Edmund immediately held Peter back, Y/N made a huge leaf appear in between both of them, a wall of some sort to separate them.
Y/N and I ran to Oliver's aid. His face filled with bruises and his lip bleeding.
The leaf was retracted back into Y/N's hand. Peter was struggling to get out of Edmund's grip.
"Calm down already! You're like a squealing baby who wasn't given any milk!" commented Edmund.
Peter was too strong and he was able to escape Edmund's grip. He charged back at Oliver, I went in front of Peter.
"Stop it." I said firmly. "What's done is done. I'm keeping my child, whether you like it or not."
"Child?!" exclaimed Edmund. He too suddenly started to charge towards Oliver. Luckily, Y/N was able to calm him down.
"Explain yourself." said Peter and Edmund in unison.
"W-what's there to explain?!" exclaimed Oliver. He was still on the floor, wiping of the blood from his lip. "Lucy is pregnant."
"When." said Peter.
"How. " said Edmund.
Everyone looked at his weird question.
Edmund realized the question he had asked,"Uh... N-not how... I already know how because Y/N- NO I DONT KNOW HOW I DIDNT MEAN HOW- I MEANT WHERE- NOT WHERE-"
"Edmund!" whispered Y/N. Their faces, as red as cherries

"Three months ago." I answered.
Peter and Edmund calmed down.
Peter walked towards me. "You really want this, Lu?"
"More than anything." I answered.
Peter looked at me, then he looked at Oliver. He walked towards Oliver and reached out a hand. Oliver took the hand and Peter helped him up.
Peter took a deep breath. "Very well. You may keep the child."
6 months and three years later
Y/N'S POV
"Edmund! Where is Luia's present?!" I shouted.
It has been 4 years since Lucy gave birth. She decided to name her daughter Luia. I think it was a combination of Lucy and Olivia.
Edmund crawled out from under the bed. "Its not here." He said as he stood up and dusted himself.
"Should we just give her something else?!" I said as I frantically looked around the room.
"What else could four year old girls want?!" Edmund answered as he frantically looked around the room.
You're probably wondering if anyone else in the family is married. Well, yeah. Peter and the maid, her name is Valerie, they got married one year ago. Lucy and Oliver got married on Luia's first birthday. Edmund and I? We haven't really talked about it. It's been four years, I know but I don't think Edmund wants a child.
I continued looking up and down but could find her present. As I turned around to continue looking, Edmund was right in front of me, really close.
He was looking deep into my eyes. You'd think being together for about 5 years would cause you to drift apart but no. Not for us. Our love actually becomes stronger everyday and we both still manage to find a way to make it fun.
His one arm pulled my waist closer to him. I'm always at a loss for words every time he does something like that.
I quickly snapped out of it. We were late for Luia's party. She was having a party in the ballroom and she'll be opening presents soon.
"Edmund, I don't have time for this... I have to look for Luia's present!"
"You mean this?" He said, holding Luia's present with his other hand.
"Where'd you find it?!" I asked happily.
"Under the table."
"Good, now let's go."
He pouted.
"What?"
He was still pouting.
"What do you waaant?" I smiled, gently hitting him on the chest. "Oh.."
I smirked. I knew what he wanted and he saw that.
I kissed him. He kissed me back, gently. It was taking longer than expected but I didn't care... I could do this forev- wait no I can't.
I quickly pulled away. "Come on!"
"Wait a sec." He said and took something from behind him.
It was our rose.
"Turn around."
I turned around and he put the rose on my hair. Perfectly matching my hairstyle.
He gently made me face him, he took my hand and he spun me around. My dress flowed as he did.
"You look beautiful." He smiled.
"And you look dashing as ever." I winked
"We have to go!" I laughed and took his hand as we ran down the hallways, into the ballroom.
"Enku Umple ackpian" said Luia as she opened her last gift.
"There's my little girl." Said Oliver as he ruffled her hair.
Just in time.
"Oh there are no more presents?" Lucy asked Luia. "Alright, say thank you to everyone!"
"Now hold on just a second-" I said as I made a vine appear. I shaped it into a chair and gently picked Luia up from the floor.

She laughed as she was lifted from the ground. "Unkie Y/N!" she laughed.
When she was on the ground, Edmund picked her up and Luia laughed as he spun her around.
Its moments like this that make me think Edmund would be a good father.
"We have one last present for you!" Said Edmund.
I gave her our present and she opened it.
We had gifted her a necklace. I crafted it myself so its comfortable around her neck. Edmund had crafted the charm. He made the White Rock into a rectangular shape and crafted a butterfly on it. She loved butterflies.
Luia smiled at the sight of the necklace.
"It's a little big." Said Lucy worriedly.
"She's supposed to grow into it." I said to Lucy and held her hand. "Your daughter is beautiful."
"What do you say, Luia?" asked Lucy.
"Enku!!!" she jumped.
The party ended just before sunset. We decided to leave to go on a walk by the beach.
Sadly, Caspian, Valeria and Oliver xouldn't come. They had some things to take care of. It was only Luia, Lucy, Susan, Peter, Edmund and I who could come.
We rode some horses. I rode trotter, Luia rode with her mother and the rest rode on their own horses.
Once we got to the beach, we left the horses under some trees as we walked together.
Luia immediately ran to the shore. Lucy ran after her.
Susan and Peter ran after both of them.
Edmund and I just decided to walk. To enjoy each other's company.
"Imaging having children." I told Edmund. "It's a lovely thought, it's too bad you didn't want to have children."
"What do you mean? I've wanted a family with you ever since I fell in love with you."
"What? But you said-"
"I thought you said-"
We stayed silent for a while but then decided to laugh it off.
"Well now I know what we're doing when we get home." He winked.
"Edmund!" I said lightly hitting his chest.
"The breeze is quite strong today." I said holding on to my hat.
"Yeah, real song." He said as he quickly took my hat and ran off.
"Hey!" I said and chased after him.
We finally caught up with the group. I fell right on top of Edmund. We kissed on the sand.
"Oop-" said Susan.
"Cover your eyes, sweetie." Whispered Lucy.
"I finally have a wife. I'm 100% not jealous." said Peter confidently.
Edmund and I finally stood up, laughing at Peter's remark.
We were all having a good time talking about everything. But the breeze kept getting stronger and stronger.
"What's going on?" Asked Lucy.
"This is some very odd weather." Commented Peter.
But the wind was so strong, the sand started flying around.
"Luia!"
"Susan!"
"Edmund!"
"Y/N!"
"Peter!"
We were all shouting each other's name. We were all blinded by the very strong wind.
Then I felt something change within me..
It was a very odd, but familiar feeling.
The sand finally calmed down, but we weren't in the beach anymore.
Sand was clearing up and being sucked into the tiny open creak in the wood floors.
We were back.
We were all in our uniforms. We all had confused looks on our faces. Except for Lucy.
"Oliver? Luia!" She called out. She was in absolute distress.
Lucy broke down and cried. We all comforted her.
"I don't know if she's okay- she might drown- Oliver-"
"Caspian-"
"Valerie-"
They had all left someone behind. People they loved. We all did.
Edmund and I looked at each other. We were grateful we would always be together. Whether it be Narnia or Finchley.
Edmund looked the exact same. He didn't age.
He pulled me into a hug and we watched Lucy cry.
I pulled away and walked to Lucy. "She's alright, Lucy. Aslan wouldn't have put her somewhere she wouldn't be safe."
She finally calmed down and stood up. Her faith and belief in Aslam was bigger than any of her worries.
"You're right." She sniffed.
We all walked out of the room. Mrs. Dovinchester was right outside. "And what are you all doing in there?" she asked. "All of you, to your respective classes right now."
C
lasses ended. I had totally forgotten how dreadful school was for me.
As I walked out of the school's gates, someone called out my name. It was Edmund.
"Y/N!" He said as he ran closer to me.
"Ed!" I ran to him and gave him a hug. I hated school and how adults were. Often times, I would even forget that I was a kid again.
"You're the only person to me that feels like home." I said as I hugged him.
He caressed my head. "It's the exact same for me."
"No hugging in school grounds!" Shouted a teacher.
"If only they knew." We said in unison. We both laughed.
"You going home?" He asked.
"Yeah, I am. I don't want to take the bus, though. I kind of miss Finchley."
"Let's go, I'll walk you."
"You really don't have to."
"Please? Lucy's crying like crazy. Seeing her sad makes me upset as well. It reminds me of who we left behind. When I'm with you, I forget all of that."
I interlocked my fingers with him. "Let's go."
We walked all around the streets of Finchley. We were both having a good time. Not as teenagers, but as partners.
"Y/N." He said.
"Hm?"
"I want us to have a family."
I stopped walking. "What?"
He looked at me dead in the eye. "You know I love you."
"I do too."
"Let's have a family then!"
"Ed, we're 16." I smiled.
"Oh, right... Well then... When we're older!"
"We'll do just that." I said and kissed him on the cheek. "We're here. Thank you for walking me home."
"Anything for you" he smiled.
We stood in silence. Until he gently cupped my face and kissed me slowly. Kissing the love of your life was different as a teenager.
"Y/N?" said a voice. "Who's that?"
We pulled away and looked to see who it was.
It was my father. The voice sounded so different and familiar at the same time. He closed the door behind him and walked closer.
I missed him so much. Five years of not seeing my own father.
I ran to him and gave him a hug.
He hugged me back, of course but still wanted to know the handsome boy I was kissing.
I pulled away from the hug and took Edmund by the hand. He walked confidently closer to my father, but he was shaking. Like, shaking.
"This is my... Boyfriend. Edmund." I said as I introduced both of them.
"Boyfriend? You have a boyfriend already? How long have you known each other?"
We looked at each other, not knowing what to say.
"A pretty long time." I said with a smile.
"We've known each other since we were... teens." said Edmund, with a smile.
He gave us an unconvinced look. But then he smiled. "Oh okay. Be safe going home, son."
My father and I went into the house. I waved a small see you later to Ed before shutting the door.
What a day.
"So, how was your first day?" Asked my father.
"It was... Extraordinary." I said with a smile, remembering everything that happened.
I ran up the stairs, into my room and I changed my clothes.
I gently placed my rose on my bedside table and jumped into my bed. I heard something fall off. It was our picture. I picked it up and read the back.
"You're more than who you think you are..."
I know who I am now, Mom.
I know who I am.

I am merely a reviewer, albeit the products I review are slightly different. For example, I review quantum computers, artificial intelligence, anti-gravity mech armor, planetary engines, sublight colonial ships, stellar detonators, etc… Chen Yu: “The technological product I bring to everyone for today’s episode is—a dual-vector foil! ********* For English readers: (Might as well add this information in English to save the lovely souls looking through our works some time) I probably won't translate this work, but I'm working on another translation within YA, if that's something you'd be interested in. This one's horror/thriller, so.. yeah. Maybe sometime in the future. Otilia works at a daycare when a child disappears. Seconds later, the child reappears, like nothing had happened. She thinks she's worked too much, but when disappearences start to happen all around the globe, she and her boyfriend realize that something has gone really, really wrong. When they get an idea about what could be the cause, no matter how unbelievable, they will do everything in their power to get the information to the right people. This was my first-ever-novel and my first gamelit story (though I had no idea that was a thing/genre at the time). This novel contains a lot of violence and blood and can be uncomfortable to read for some people. There is also some violence from, and off-screen violence to, children.
