Shortly after the three girls left, we all looked at Caspian.
Oliver exhaled. "That's tough. I mean- your own girlfriend not wanting to stay with y-"
"Do you think that I did not know that?" Caspian snapped.
I rolled my eyes at Oliver's stupidity.
"I wanted to have a future with her.. here in Narnia." Caspian mumbled.
Peter looked at Caspian. "Maybe don't say your intentions with my sister out loud, where everyone can hear them."
"Right.." said Caspian. "Pardon me.", he excused himself and left. His foo also untouched.
What a waste.
Suddenly, the windows sprung wide open by a strong gust of cold wind.
Some girl, jumped into the window and landed perfectly in the room."Hello, gentleman.", It was Susan.
Peter, Oliver and I stood on our feet and grabbed the swords from the knight displays.
"Susan?" we asked. "What- What's..."
"I've been thinking about the us-staying-in-Narnia issue." she said as she walked closer to us. "And I've been thinking... I never want to leave.", she said and blew some sort of power on our faces.
(not drugs. I mean sort of. but don't do drugs y'all)
No less than 10 seconds, I had absolutely no control over my body. Mentally, I was still me. Physically, I couldn't move. I couldn't control my arms and my legs, I couldn't even say what I wanted to say.
One thing that I hadn't lost though, were my senses. I could still smell, see and hear.
I soon felt myself sitting down and saw Peter and Oliver doing the same. Their faces looked blank and emotionless. I assumed we were in the same state.
"Oh please do take a seat and continue your dinner." said Susan.
We started walking to our chairs and sat down..Our arms jerked up and flimsily grabbed our spoons and forks and started to forcefully stuff our faces.
"Way too easy." said Susan and sat down on her seat. "Why didn't I think of this before?"
The door opened. It was Lucy and Y/N.
Oh no.
"Susan ran off into the forest." said Y/N
"What are you talking about?" said Peter. His voice sounding monotone. "She is right here."
I tried my hardest to gain full control over my body. She can't hurt them.
Wait she can't. She literally can't. Y/N is the strongest girl I know.
"Susan?" asked Y/N. "What are you doing here we just- we just saw you-"
"Im alright." interrupted Susan as she stood up and walked towards Y/N and Lucy. "Thank you for looking after me." she said, and held Y/N by the hands, leaving powder on her hands as well.
Y/N felt the powder and looked at it "What is this?" she asked.
"You'll find out." winked Susan. "Right dear brothers?"
I felt my head forcefully nod in sync with Peter and Oliver.
"What have you done to them?" asked Lucy.
"Leave this to me." said Y/N. She must've tried to make some kind of plant action happen, but Everytime any light emitted from her hand, it quickly flickered and faded away.
"What's happening?" she asked. "You did this?!" she asked angrily. "What's gotten into you?!"
No....
Lucy backed away slowly, looking at Y/N worriedly.
"Clever girl." said Susan.
"Lucy, run and get help." Y/N whispered.
Lucy quietly snuck her way out of the room.
"You're just like your mother." said Susan and blew powder on her face and I watched as all emotion left her face.

LUCYS POV
I rushed through the halls hoping to find someone. Anyone.
Everywhere I went, there was always powder on the floor or on the walls.
Professors, maids, members of the court, but unfortunately, the castle was empty.
I came to a sudden halt when a maid appeared from behind the wall.
I panted, "Oh thank goodness, I've been looking for someo-"
Her behavior was strange. She looked at me as if she wanted something from me. "Hello Queen Lucy." she said in an odd monotone voice.
"I'm sorry, are you alright?" I asked and walked towards her.
"Are you going somewhere?" she said and quickly grabbed my arm.
Luckily, her grip was weak. I was able to pull way instantly
I kicked her down and I ran through the halls once again, bumping into more people who were hypnotized. Seeing more and more powder, I concluded that that was the source of their very odd behavior.
I ran into a room. I didn't know who's but I didn't care.
I saw a big open window and decided to jump out and escape.
"Lucy?" said a familiar voice and didn't sound monotone at all.
"Caspian!" I exclaimed. "Wait, do you want to capture me too?"
"What are you talking about?" he asked.
We suddenly heard a loud bang on his bedroom door.
"I'll explain later. We need to leave." I told him, getting ready to jump.
"I do not understand what is-".
Another bang on the door.
"Caspian, we don't have time!" I exclaimed.
The door finally gave in and burst open. Maids, soldiers and members of the court filled the doorway space.
I pulled Caspian and we jumped out of the window.
The landing was rough and hard since it was pretty much all stone.
We grunted and groaned in pain as we stood up. Parts of our body, sore and in pain.
"I don't know where to go... Any ideas?" I asked, rubbing a sore area on my back.
"Follow me." said Caspian.
He lead us into the village, and we both went into an empty house.
I locked the doors behind us and panted.
"That was close."
"What is going on?" he asked.
"You're not going to believe this, but right after we saw Susan go into the forest, we went back into the dining room and she was there. Peter, Oliver and Edmund they were completely emotionless and blank. Their voices were monotone. Y/N's power doesn't work and-"
"Susan did that?"
"Yes... No... Maybe? I don't know, she didn't seem like Susan."
Caspian stayed quiet. He was trying to think.
"Caspian? Caspian do you have a plan?"
He didn't answer.
"What do you think is the core source of all what is happening?" he asked.
"Im not really sure who-"
"Not who, what", he corrected.
"Hmm... I saw powder everywhere. Y/N's power also stopped working after Susan held her hands with that same powder!"
"Alright. What contradicts with powder?"
"I'm not very sure..."
"Water!"
"Water?"
"Yes. That is what we will use."
"Wait- How did you kno-"
"Let's give it a test on one of the guards."
There were a group of guards protecting the castle. One guard in particular was walking mindlessly in-front of the castle door, that he had strayed from the group
Caspian and I brought a bucket and filled it up with water from the well. We both snuck behind the guard and dumped the water over his head.

The soldier groaned and wiped the water from his face. "Im free?- King Caspian! Queen Lucy!"
"Are you alright? What happened?" I asked.
He took off his helm and rubbed his temples as he tried to clear the image. "Queen Susan was-"
"She's not Susan!" snapped Caspian.
"Right, my apologies your majesty. This young woman was controlling our bodies." continued the soldier. "I had absolutely no control over my body."
"You were mentally aware?" he asked.
The soldier nodded one response.
"Take this." said Caspian and handed the bucked to the man. "Fill it with water and pour it on the others. Ask them to do the same." he commanded.
"We'll take care of this mysterious mind-controller."
SUSAN'S POV
"Let me go!" I yelled. But it wasn't a physical yell, more like a mental shout. No I wasn't captured, only trapped in my own head and thoughts.
"Please Queen Susan. I thought you were supposed to be graceful." said or thought the White Witch.
It turns out that that diamond thing contained the White Witch's soul and she inhabited mine. We share the same thoughts since this is still my body. We share consciousness, emotions and feelings. How we react may depend on our individual preferences. You know, complicated stuff.
The door burst open and two people entered the room. It was my sister, Lucy, and Caspian.
"Don't you dare hurt them."
"You can't do anything. You're trapped in your own body. "
"Caspian, my Darling." said the White Witch.
He isn't your darling.
"I demand you release Susan and the others AT ONCE!" commanded Caspian
"Who are you to challenge me?!" she shouted as the whole Castle shook. "I was here before any of you were born. I WAS THE ORIGINAL QUEEN. YOU. RESPECT. ME!"
"The White Witch!" Lucy exclaimed.
"You sneaky son of a WITCH" shouted Caspian.
The White Witch grinned and looked over at Y/N.
Y/N forcefully ran to the table in a supersonic speed. She dunked her hands in the pitcher filled with water, and when she got them out, light emitted from her hand once again.
(pretty disgusting stuff here. if ur easily triggered, pls skip to the next paragraph.)
A thorny vine shot out from her hands and trapped Caspian and Lucy. The thorns in the vine punctured multiple holes through their skin. Agonizing screams of pain could be heard throughout Narnia as the vines became tighter and tighter. The thorns mercilessly digging deeper. Blood trickled down from each of the holes.
"Jadis stop!"
"After these two are gone, I just need to get rid of the rest and I'll be Queen once again!"
"Jadis please! You'll kill them!"
"That's the point."
"Susan..." whispered Caspian.
"Caspian!! Lucy!! I'm right here!"
"Susan, If you can hear me... I'm sorry... I know... that I'm n-not be the best for you... and I do not know how your world works, but all I know is that... that I love you and... I want to have a future with you."
Oh Caspian...
"Say all your last words little King." laughed the White Bitch.
(oops typo🤡 credits to whoever said that hilarious comment.)
"Caspian! Lucy!" I shouted. Wait... I shouted?
"What's going on?!"
"Caspian I'm sorry- NO! I HAVE FULL CONTROL OF YOUR BOD- Truth is, I love Narnia- ARGH! STOP IT YOU FOOL- and I love you"
A shrill, ear-piercing scream escaped my voice, dragging the White Witch along with it. Her soul retreated into the White powder and it clumped together forming the diamond again.
Sharp exhales left our mouths. I grabbed the diamond and threw it in the fire. "That's the last of her."
Y/N carefully and quickly retracted her vines and ran to their aid. I followed behind.
I can't believe I wasn't able to control myself. I could've killed them!
Peter, Susan, Oliver and Edmund ran to their side. They inspected the multiple holes in their skin. Luckily the thorns didn't dig deep enough for it to be a critical condition, but it was still bad.
I kneeled down beside them"Caspian, Lucy I.. I'm so sorry, I didn't have any control..." I apologized and started tearing up.
We watched as they wailed in pain. I bit my lip out of guilt. I suddenly felt an arm wrap around my shoulders. This time, I was too angry at myself to even notice. It was Edmund.
Peter frantically looked for Lucy's healing vial in her dress and thank Aslan he found it.
He poured a drop in Caspian and Lucy's mouth.
We all watched their wounds as it slowly closed, gaining their strength at the same time.
They finally sat up, still slightly weak, but strong enough to sit.
Oliver quickly hugged Lucy. "I thought you would never be able to make it."
Susan hugged Caspian. "Caspian I apologise for everything."
"Did you mean what you said?" asked Caspian. "That you-"
"I love you." Susan said and gently kissed Caspian.
We all stared at them in disgust.
Peter snorted. "Get a room."
"You're just jealous cause you're still single." teased Edmund. We all laughed.
"I'm not the only one single!" Peter said, defending himself. "Susan is still-"
Caspian put his arm around Susan's shoulder.
Peter scoffed. "At least Lucy is still-"
Lucy kissed Oliver in the cheek. Oliver blushed so red, you'd think he had a fever.
"Hey no kissing!" scolded Peter. Lucy giggled. Peter continued, "Edmund is obviously still-"
Edmund smilled and pulled me into a kiss. In front of everyone.
When he finally pulled away, he looked me in the eyes.
I lightly hit him in the chest. "Ed!"
"If Lucy and Susan can show their romances, why can't we? Besides, I've loved you before they even knew they liked each other." he winked.
I smirked and pulled him into another kiss. One more passionate than anything anyone has ever shared.
Peter groaned. "Stop rubbing it in!"
We held a grand celebration for the defeat of the White Witch. Hopefully, no one else has any of her remains.
Flowers were set in the village, people were extremely festive and fun to be around. We all had each other, and even Peter danced with the maid in the castle.
When the festival ended, late an night, all seven of us decided to take a walk through the forest to enjoy our last night.
"I'll miss this place." sighed Lucy, tightly holding on to Oliver.
"I'll definitely miss you more." Oliver said, tightening his grip.
"Aren't you the lucky couple who will most probably never part?" said Peter as he faced us.
"We are lucky aren't we?" I said as I looked at Edmund. "We both have a part of us in Finchley and another part of us in Narnia."
"Imagine if you'd have to stay." chuckled Edmund. "Good thing that won't happen because you're stuck to me like glue."
I stopped walking. "Edmund..."
"Yeah?"
"I've been thinking... maybe I should stay." I said as I slowly removed his hand from mine.
He stopped walking and looked at me, shocked. "What do you mean?"
The others stopped as well.
"Edmund, I have a part of me that lives here..."
"So do I! But that doesn't mean that I have to leave everything else!"
"Edmund, it's different..."
"What do you mean different?"
"My mother was from here."
"So you won't return with us to Finchley???"
"There's a reason why I was brought here! And I feel that it's because I need to continue what my mother wasn't able to finish!"
"So you're saying this is going to be our last night together!?" said Edmund as he took my hands. "Please, Y/N..."
"Edmund..."

Dragon: Birth of an Ancient
Deep in a secluded forest, within the depths of a long forgotten cave, an unnatural silence that has reigned for little over a million years is shattered as a hatchling takes its first breath. To the various species that called this world, one of seven, home, the matter seemed beyond insignificant. The hatchling, like all monsters, had no divine backing and with its age, could only be considered a lesser existence. A being to be used by the Chosen and noble monster bloodlines in their never-ending pursuit of power, fame and immortality. However, how could any of the short-lived races, Chosen and Monster alike, know that the tiny, weak, lizard-like creature was much more than it seemed. That it was an entity only spoken of in myth and legend. From a species that their ancestors, with the backing of the Gods, paid a huge price to remove. A heretical existence that threatened the fragile peace that had descended upon their world. A Dragon. ==== ** Cover done by the amazing Felix!*** I am writing this story for a friend who is currently in hospital and in a very precarious situation. He gave me the plot/ concept and, after my own health issues, I wanted to try and brighten his day and provide a distraction from the monotony of their hospital stay. I am posting it on RRL mainly in case anyone else can find enjoyment from the story and to show the readers of my other stories that I am not permanently MIA (and will 100% return to those stories in the future).
