The professor gently pulled on the plant from it's roots.

"We need a pot and fire. We have to boil some water." Cornelius ordered.

Members of the crew immediately followed his instructions and set up everything.

Lucy looked at me. "H-how did you do that?"

I looked at her, not acknowledging that I did anything because I didn't. "I didn't do anything." I replied. "Maybe it was there the whole time."

"But it couldn't possibly have." Susan remarked. "The whole area surrounding us is dead."

"Right." said Peter. "The herb we needed couldn't have just randomly placed itself right beside Ed."

"The Island Queen." Caspian mumbled.

We all looked at him. "What?"

"The Island Queen or Princess must be close. What if she saw us and decided to help?" Caspian assumed.

"So the whole time, she was in the Mainland watching us but never did anything about the plants that were dying?" Peter said with crossed arms.

"I'm sure she has some explanation." said Lucy.

Soon, the professor arrived with a big cup and some blue liquid inside. It didn't look like water. It's color was less transparent.

He sat Edmund up and slowly let the water flow into his mouth.

Edmund didn't swallow anything at first, but little by little, he was able to take the drink, he was then able to hold the cup himself and after while, sit up by himself without the support of the professor.

Our smiles became bigger and gleamed brighter than the sun everytime Edmund showed any sign of strength and recovery.

When he was finished he took the cup and looked inside.

"Isn't there any more?" he asked.

We all laughed and were glad to have him back. The Pevensies wrapped him in a big hug. I was already tearing up and was happier than words can describe.

Thank you.

When Edmund fully regained his strength, he attempted to stand up. He was a little woozy at first, but succeeded in the next tries.

When he was able to stand properly, I gave him the biggest hug I had even given to anyone. I practically jumped on him, causing us to both fall on the ground.

"Ed I'm so happy you're alright." I said and kissed him.

Our kiss only lasted a couple of seconds when Edmund nudged my arm.

I had totally forgotten there were still people around us.

I pulled away from him and helped him up. Everyone's eyes were on us, yet our hands still didn't part.

Peter looked at both of us. He didn't know what to say.

Edmund and I looked at each other. We then both faced Peter, Susan and Lucy.

A brief silence filled the air.

A smile formed on Peter's face. "Well it's about time."

Susan and Lucy grinned.

"W-what?" I asked. "You aren't mad?"

"Why would I be?" said Peter. "I sort of knew you both would end up together eventually."

"How?" I asked.

"You know, you two aren't the best at being secretive." Peter teased.

We all smiled at his remark.

"Hey... where's Oliver?" asked Peter. "Is he still asleep?"

"The last time I saw him, he was on the ship, awake." informed Lucy.

"Oliver..." Edmund whispered.

I gave him a worried look. "You okay?" I asked as I put my hand on his back.

He put his hand on his head as if he was trying to remember something. "I..."

We all faced him. Worried something else was wrong.

"Oliver." he said again. "Thats all I remember."

"You... remember seeing Oliver?" I asked.

"Y-yeah..." he replied. "I guess coming out of your room wasn't the last thing I did."

Peter's eyes widened. "Y-you wha-?!"

Everyone looked at Peter and gave him a ""

Peter silenced himself, but he was still very much shocked. "You did what?! " he whispered.

"Can you remember anything else, Ed?" asked Susan.

He tried to think harder. "N...no." he sighed. "Everything's blurry."

"Perhaps we can ask Oliver." suggested Caspian. Everyone nodded and agreed to his idea.

Everyone went to the ship for answers but came back with none. Oliver wasn't there.

"Lu, are you sure you saw him?" asked Susan.

"Yes." she answered. "We even hug- err... we even spoke to each other."

"What did you talk about?" asked Caspian.

"I told him about my missing bottle." replied Lucy.

"Do you think he went looking for it?" Susan suggested.

"Maybe" I rolled my eyes. "He is always after a lady's attention."

I noticed Lucy frown when I said that.

"O-or maybe he likes Lucy!" I said, trying

to make her feel a little better.

A little upward curve formed on the corner of her lip.

"We have to look for him. He's the only one who remembers what happened." announced Peter.

"And Edmund's memory will slowly regain while we look for him." said Susan

EDMUND'S POV

They continue to conversate as I tried hard to clear the image of Oliver and what he was doing.

The focusing distracted me so much, that I practically shut myself in a room of my own thoughts.

It was all blurry. Even Oliver's face couldn't be seen, but I knew it was him. The physical features were much too alike for not.

"You up for it, Ed?" asked Y/N.

"Huh?" I asked. "Up for what?"

"We're going to go looking for Oliver. You can stay if you don't feel that well yet." she said. I swear, she's an angel sent from heaven.

She's such a great girlfriend.

"Ed?"

What if... she becomes my wife? What if we actually get married.

"Edmund?"

What if we have a family of our own?!

"Hello? Ed!"

Wait a second. If we did have a family, I would be too worried if we had a lot of kids. I always get worried about Y/N. What more if I had like... three mini

Y/N's?!

"Edmund are you there?"

What if there were mini me's too. That's trouble times two!

Someone gave me a violent nudge. "!" Peter called out.

"The kids are causing trouble!" I accidentally shouted out loud.

Stupid me.

"What kids?" Y/N asked. "Who's kids?"

Ours in the future.

"There are kids on the ship?!" shouted Peter.

"Uh... yes." I answered. "We're the kids... on the ship."

"And we're causing trouble?" asked Susan.

Good job, Ed.

"Uh... No?" I said.

"Ed, focus." said Y/N. "Do you want to come along with us or stay here?"

"I'm coming." I informed them. "I'm fine."

The day was almost ending. The sun was going down.

"It's too dark." said Susan. "We can go in the morning."

OLIVER'S POV

I went with the bat as he lead me through a thick, dead forest. The temperature was pretty low, but not enough for snow to fall... at least not yet.

Each step we took, it became colder and colder. The trees and even the grass had less and less life. Until eventually we arrived in some place completely frozen.

He then lead me to a big waterfall which was also frozen. The waterfall was so clear, I could almost see through the end of the cave behind it.

The bat gestured me to go in front of the waterfall.

I did so.

Soon, an image of a very pale, beautiful woman. She looked middle aged and had a gown that of a Queen's.

"You must be Oliver." the woman said gently.

"I... I am." I stammered. "Good evening your majesty."

"I say, you did the most noble thing." she said. "Would you like anything?"

"Umm... maybe a coat?" I asked.

She snapped her fingers and the bat quickly morphed into this human-bat form. The morphed being then left and arrived with a coat.

"Thank you." I said as I took the coat and laid it over my shoulders.

"So, Oliver..."

"Hmm?"

"Where is she?" she asked. "The girl." she said. This time, with a more stern tone.

"S-she... isn't here." I admitted.

"She... isn't here?" she asked. "

Her sudden display of anger after showing me a gentle character took me by surprise.

"" she yelled once again.

"I-I did bring them halfway!" I said. "They're by the waters. On the ship."

"Should we attack, your majesty?" asked the bat.

"Attack?!" I asked in disapproval. "N-no! No one is attacking them.

We both faced the White Witch for an answer.

"Our little friend doesnt want his friends to get hurt. So we will not attack." she said.

"Oh thank you." I told her as I let out a relieving sigh.

"Not right now." she said.

"Wait what? But-"

"We will not attack with brute force." she explained. "The last time I did that, I lost. This time we'll be playing the game... a little sneakily."

"But about my friends-"

"You're friends will be spared unless you bring me the girl... and the 'Kings and Queens of Old'." she explained.

"What do you want with them, anyway?" I asked. "They're just a bunch of children."

"Children that have done me very wrong" she said. The sounded vengeful and very serious about them.

"But what I really want is the girl. Y/N." she said. "She's something special."

"What could be so special about her? She's just a human." I said.

"She has something I need for my escape." said the White Witch. "If not the blood of someone royal, then I need the blood of someone special.

"And what about my parents?" I asked. "When do I get to have them back?"

"The trapped witched yelled, accidentally causing some ice to crack.

She noticed the cracks and calmed herself down. I don't think she would have wanted to break it.

"But what makes her so special? What does she have that you need so badly?" I asked.

"I need her life...

She is the Island Princess."
