《The Island Princess (Edmund Pevensie x Reader)》10

Susan and I both sit on the bed. Silence fills the room as her stare open windows of her thoughts.
"I think I deserve and explanation." she says, not breaking her stare.
"I dont really need to explain myself to you." I answer back. "You aren't my mother."
"Maybe not," she says, "but you're having an affair with my brother." she resorts.
"An affair?!" I ask her, "Where in the world did you get that silly idea?"
"Oh so you think you coming out of his bedroom isn't enough to keep someone wondering?" she argues.
"Look, it's not like you're together." I scoffed.
"First of all, that is absolutely disgusting." she shudders, "Second, he's my brother. I'm only looking out for him."
I understood her a bit more.
"I'm just making sure you aren't making a fool out of him. He has a sensitive heart." she sighs, "He may seem like a hard chest, but inside every chest is treasure.".
"I understand you're worried for your brother, but seriously; nothing is going on between us." I explain to her calmly.
We then hear the doorknob turn as someone sneaks inside.
"Y/N?"
It was Lucy. She looked at me and said; "I finally found you, Edmund told me you were here."
She then saw Susan sitting on the other side of the bed.
"Susan?" she asked worriedly.
"Lucy? You knew about this?!" Susan scolded her.
"JUST-" the whole room becomes silent. "Let me explain." I breathe in and out as I try to calm down.
I pause for a brief moment.
"Lucy and I spoke last night, when she left, I stayed a little longer. By the time I decided to go back into my room, it was pretty dark. I went into the wrong room, slept in the wrong bed and Edmund and I woke up in a shock." I say quickly, trying to catch my breath.
They stay quiet.
I may have left out a few details...
"So, you didn't go there on purpose?" Susan asked.
"No and I never will." I say clearly.
"Never?" Lucy smirked.
"Ne.Ver." I looked Lucy straight in the eyes.
Lucy starts giggling and a smile forms on Susan's face.
"Now what are you guys on about?" I asked.
"Nothing." Susan smiled.
She then leaned in closer to me.
"But if you start developing something for my brother, you have got to tell us first." she whispers, not too soft, loud enough for Lucy to hear.

"Shut up." I laugh.
"But like I said, that will never happen."
I walked to the edge of the ship and put my weight on the ships walls. I look out into the sea. It all seemed so magical. We had just finished eating breakfast three hours ago. I look around the ship to see if there was anything I could do to help.
I see the map on the barrel, rolled up and placed neatly on top. I really admire the work of these men. They knew how to keep the ship tidy.
I pick up the map and head to the back of the ship. I sit down and dangle my feet with the water below me. It's become my favorite sitting position ever since the cliff.
I unroll the map. I see the moving image of the ship. The ship was now located at the bottom of the map. We were not near any islands, the next island was still pretty far.
"Land ho!" a crew member shouted.
My head jerks to the direction of the crew member. I quickly stand up and try to see if there really was an island.
There was, but the view wasn't crystal clear.
But how? There aren't any islands close to us...
I look back at the map to make sure what I saw a few seconds ago was true.
Just then a new island appeared on the map, three centimeters away from the Dawn Treader.
Unbelievable.
I rush to find Professor Cornelius. I spot him on the other side of the ship, talking to Caspian and Peter.
"Professor!" I run to him at full speed.
"Lady Y/N! What's the rush?" he asks.
"T-that island..." I pant, pointing to the new island that just appeared on the map, "it wasn't on the map before!"
"What do you mean?" he says as he reaches for the map in my hand. I give it to him and he fixes his spectacles.
"It just appeared." I explained. "Like magic.".
"Everything about this place is magic." Peter walked up to me. "Don't be too surprised."
A thick layer or mist started forming midst our path, blocking the view of the Island. It was so thick, you couldn't see anything on the ship.
"Nobody move!" somebody shouted. It sounded like Peter. "We don't want to bump into anything or anyone."
A few moments later the mist cleared and we were only fifteen feet away from the Island... or was it an island?

From afar it looked like a rocky island, but when I saw it up close, it was actually a cave.
It's bound to have at least some land in it, right? So technically it is an island.
The entrance was narrow, but large enough for the Dawn Treader to fit inside.
The ship enters the cave. It wasn't completely dark. Sunlight still found its way inside, making it look... magical.
The water was crystal clear, there were little creatures, similar to butterflies, that were flying around the cave, there were no bats, no spiders, nothing was dirty. It's like someone was keeping the whole cave clean.
"Whoa." I gasp. Everyone did. We were all astonished by the beauty of the cave.
Seriously, what is this place?
I reach for the map on the deck. I searched for the island that magically appeared.
"Wingman Cave" I read out loud.
What's a Wingman?
Just then, one of the little butterflies throw the map out of my hand, onto the floor.
"Hey!" I say as I try to shoo those creatures away.
A whole swarm suddenly started attacking the whole crew on the ship.
They all ran for cover.
"Professor!" I struggle, trying to shoo the creatures away. "What are these little butterflies doing?!"
"They aren't butterflies," he said swiping the winged animals, "They're wingmen and they're protecting the cave!"
But we weren't even doing anything to the cave..
I took a closer look at the wingmen... they were like tiny humans.. like fairies
(credits to whoever made this!)
"Stop!" I yell, though it seemed like I was only whispering as the whole ship was yelling too. "Please! We aren't here to hurt you or the cave!".
All wingmen stopped what they were doing and looked at me.
They all then collected themselves, becoming one whole swarm again and circled around me. I was backed into the wall of the ship. I was cornered.
Edmund then runs towards my direction and pushes me away from the swarm. He then hugged me.
"Edmund, what are you doing?" I ask, shocked by what he just did.
"If it's not yet obvious, I'm trying to protect you." he pants, repeatedly looking back to see if they were still there.
The swarm was getting closer towards us, in a slow pace.
I looked at Edmund, "Edmund, I can protect myself." and gave him a reassuring smile.
I slowly walked up to the wingmen.
I then look at them, pausing to build up anticipation.
"Umm.. hello?" I greet them, as if they could understand me. The rest of the crew probably thought I was trying to distract them so they took this opportunity to start hiding.
"Sorry to disturb you and your cave but, we need a place to rest our crew and this cave was the closest landform to rest in."
I tell them nicely.
I then look at the Pevensies who were hiding in one corner. Edmund gestured me to run to them, I ignored him.
The wingmen looked at each other, like they were trying to have a conversation with their eyes.
The one at the mid-front, who I assume was their leader, came closer to me. He then started making squeaky, chipmunk-like sounds. My guess was, it was trying to talk to me.
"In one condition" said a voice in my mind. It wasn't a mental, normal thinking voice, I could actually hear it. it sounded like the voice of a male. It was the wingman and he was talking with me telepathically.
I guess this is how they communicate with other creatures.
"You don't destroy or steal anything from the cave." continued their leader.
"We won't." I nodded.
"Very well then, you are welcome to stay." bowed their leader.
"Thank you, generous sir." I curtseyed.
The swarm then scattered, going in different directions. Then they vanished.
I looked at the Pevensies and the rest of the crew. They had confused looks on their faces. I don't think the telepathy reached them.
"We rest here for the night." I inform the crew.
The crew set up the camp close to the water. They put firewood and the wingmen were even generous enough to give us some fruit.
I wandered around the cave. It really was one to explore.
I then saw a small hole on one corner of the cave. It looked like a home of a little crab or something.
I took one step closer-
"AAAAAAH!!!" I scream as I fell down the supposably small hole that got bigger in almost an instant...
A/N: Thank you for all the reads! I really appreciate it!!!! Please stay safe y'all.

Transposition
Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.

Zeke Herald, Goblin Slayer
Zeke wakes up inside a small cavemouth, no memories or direction, just the will to live. Also, he's smack dab in the middle of a forest that's teeming with ugly little goblins. The only good goblin is one with a sword sticking out of it, as my father used to say. I tried to incorperate LitRPG elements. I'm only recently introduced to the genre, but I find it really fasinating! So intrigued I even started writing a little story expressing my joy of all things numerical! This story has a focus on hardwork and deliberate progression, no magical deus ex machinas here sorry.
