In a blink of an eye, it was already the day of her birthday. Princess Qing Luan was pulled out of bed by Jing Shu in the early morning and was dressed up while she was still half-asleep.
She finally cleared her head as she ate her breakfast. She sighed as she realized how at eased and relaxed she had been, unlike ministers like Fu Si Nian, who are used to waking up too early in the morning.
Thank the Gods that there's only one birthday in a year, she shook her head tiredly, she would rather die than to wake up so early everyday. She quickly finished up her food and rushed over to her carriage as she didn't want him to punish her for being late.
Fu Si Nian, who was already waiting at the city gate, watched as her carriage stopped next to him, her long slender fingers flipped open the curtains as she gazed at him with her bright almond eyes. She's as alluring as ever, he thought with satisfaction as his heart skipped a beat at the view.
She rushed down her carriage and strode towards him, “Minister Fu, I'm not late, am I?” She asked worriedly, her palms pressing down on her chest as she breath heavily.
Fu Si Nian chuckled happily, his eyes twinkling at her facial expressions.
Princess Qing Luan was stunned by Fu Si Nian, who had always worn a stern face, as his smile felt like the warm sun after a horrible storm.
It was surprisingly… eminent.
To think that she would call him eminent… She wondered if she was still half-asleep after all.
“You're a little late, but we can still make it before the sunrises,” He smiled at her question as he reached out, gently taking her small hands in his.

Both of them entered Fu SiNian's carriage and thus began their journey up the mountains. Along the way, she dozed off from the constant soft shaking, her head resting on his broad shoulders.
The carriage had to stop midway and Fu Si Nian, who wanted her to sleep a little bit longer, carried her up the steep mountain with hushed footsteps. As he reached the top, he pinched her cheeks softly, waking her up from her deep slumber.
It was almost breaking dawn as they rested on a mat, but due to the extreme cold, Princess Qing Luan ended up shivering and she curled herself up in his arms, intending to warm herself with his body heat, causing Fu Si Nian chuckle at her action.
He's so out of character today… She thought as she gaze at his smiling face, surprised at how gentle and kind he was today, Is he being nice because it's my birthday today?
But either way, it was a good thing for her.
The sun rose, shining its light upon all darkness on land, bringing warmth to everything and everyone, as if it was a new beginning.
Both man and woman gazed as they smiled at each other. Fu Si Nian reached out a hand to stroke her soft and silky hair gently, smoothing out the messy parts.
“Princess, this one would soon travel to the southern borders to end the war, ” He sighed as he touched her puffy cheeks, “I'll no longer have much time to spend with you so I really hope you'd enjoy this scenery and remember this day.”
"I love you, but I am also a love this country.” He whispered softly to her, “I don't know if I will return from war this time, but I will do my best to protect this country, to protect your home. Please believe in my utmost loyalty to you, for it is like the sun, unending and for eternity.”

Princess Qing Luan stared at him in a daze, her round almond eyes wide and her heart skipping quickly as if it will burst out of her chest any time soon. To be honest, she was very shocked and surprised by his sudden confession, there was no bullying or teasing from him, no mean words or being forced to satisfy him.
They left the mountaintop as the sun grew hotter, hand-in-hand they walk as she insisted to not be carried. But she was, after all, a weak Princess and her legs began to feel sore after a while. He said nothing as he picked her up with his strong arms and proceeded to carry her down the moutain.
As he laid her down on a seat inside his carriage, he grabbed her legs and laid them on his thighs, his calloused fingers gently massaging the parts that went sore. She had tried to retract her legs but it felt to comfortable that she shut her eyes after a while to fully enjoy his service.
Fu Si Nian's slowly moved upwards as he continued massaging her legs, reminding her of the incident in Pei Jing Zhi's massage parlour. Her eyes shot open as she shakily stopped his hands, “Not here!” She whimpered soft, her face turning red.
But she had indeed mistaken his intentions, for he was actually serious about soothing her sore legs, but gazing at her bright scarlet face, he suddenly felt like teasing her.
“If not here, then where?” He breathing into her neck as he whispered with a husky voice.

8 154Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.

8 233Tale of the mage hero [Completed]
so I've been into rising of the shield hero for a while now... a lot of things about it ALWAYS bugged me starting with the fact that the world functions like a game and the heroes are supposed to fight together in a party.... BUT WHERE'S THE ARCHMAGE?! THE BLATANT DISRESPECT TO THE MAGE CLASS IS REAL AND ANGERING! so I decided as a gamer who rather enjoys being a mage and healer, I'd rectify that. and other things. for all intents and purposes this is a self insert but I will be using my proxy OC that I use in my nutty fangirl daydreams. DON'T WORRY! I'M NERFING MY PROXY! this will follow the plot of the anime because..... I want to. and I'm..... LAZY~! and using the manga is too much trouble and the light novel is 800+ chapters long. So FUCK THAT! anyways if you read this and think it's lackluster then I want to see you try your hand at writing tate no yuusha fics! no that's not a challenge or insult it's just a desperate plea for more tate fics... we need some more variety! Alright I'm gonna be honest here. This story is laughably bad. So read at your own risk. The only reason I'm not revising it is because 1 I'm Lazy as fuck and 2 to serve as a lesson on what NOT to do for new writers. So like I said, read at your own risk.
