(Jungkook's POV)
"No Hoseok, go to the pharmacy by the school. Then you give the person at the counter the prescription."
"Then they just give me medicine?"
"Yes, do you understand now?" It took me 20 minuets to explain to Hoseok how to get Yoongi's prescription medication. I already got Jimin's and Taehyung's. Who Jimin was now at home and Taehyung was sulking on the couch.
"Yep! Thanks Kookie, bye!" Hoseok hung up as I put my phone in my pocket. I continued what I was doing before he called, moving all the suitcases to the front door.
I went back to Taehyung on the couch who hadn't stopped sulking the entire morning. I couldn't tell if it was because I was leaving or because his head hurt.
"Does it still hurt?" I asked, the medicine should've kicked in by now. I reached to touch his head when he grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards him. "Tae!" I almost fell but was pulled into his arms, my face being pressed into his chest.
"I'm going to have separation anxiety." He mumbled into my hair as I giggled, pushing off his chest a little so I could see his face.
"I'm pretty sure only kids and dogs get that."
"No, adults too. I'm going to miss you." He pouted, these moments always made me wonder if he was really four years older than me.
"It's not like I'm moving to a different country, I live 15 minuets away." I replied trying to deny the fact that I would miss him too. I always got attached to people really quickly and now I don't know how I'll come home from school and not see him.
Taehyung hummed in response, "I love you."

(Last night)
"I love you." My heart was racing as I said it, closing my eyes, I felt my face turn red. What if he doesn't say it back, maybe this was a bad time. Did I fuck everything up? I bit my lip, not daring to open my eyes.
"Thank goodness." Taehyung tackled me to the bed, when I opened my eyes he was hovering over me once again, this time, a big smile on his face. "I love you so much." The words stopped my heart, maybe it's good we're in a hospital. He kissed my forehead then my cheek and the other one, then my nose. "Love you so so much. I didn't want to rush you, or say it and you not be ready."
My face was blank my eyes wide, Taehyung took my silence in the wrong way.
"Jungkook?" He sat up, his smile gone.
"You love me?" I hid my face behind my hands, trying to hide the goofy smile that was currently on my face. I heard Taehyung laugh softly, I was hoping he'd say it back...but I didn't expect he actually would. The only person that loved me is my mom, and that's completely different. And I guess Hoseok, Namjoon, and Jin do too, but it's a life long friend type of love. But Taehyung...
This 'worst day ever' had suddenly turned into the best one just by him saying three words.
"What you don't believe me?" He asked, his hands pulling mine away from my face.
"N-no I believe you!" I said quickly, I could already see where that was going and I don't think my heart can take much more.
"Good." He smiled, his fingers intertwined with mine as he leaned in, our noses brushing against one another. "Now kiss me."

I giggled before pressing our lips together, his were warm even though his hands were cold. I leaned into him, as he put my hand over his heart. I broke the kiss to look at his eyes.
"Can you feel it?"
I nodded, it was beating really fast, just like mine always does around him.
(Present)
"I love you too." I couldn't help but turn pink when I said it. Taehyung opened his mouth to say something when the doorbell rang.
We looked at each other for a long moment, no one moving to answer it. It rang again so I got up, breaking eye contact with Taehyung to answer the door.
"Jungkook!" My mom tackled me in a hug. I smiled and hugged her back, I had missed her.
***
"So how did you two get along?" She asked as she made herself tea in Taehyung's kitchen. I was expecting to leave right away but she made herself at home, wanting to talk to Taehyung.
"Great actually Jungkook-" I looked at him to warn him to make sure our stories sounding normal and not like we had met at a strip club, became a couple, almost got shot, and all the other crazy stuff that happened during the time I was here.
"I mean he's kind of annoying, but I guess all brothers are like that." Taehyung laughed nervously as I mentally face palmed. His laugh was so fake, I looked back at my mom.
"I'm glad you got along!" Mmm 'got along' was a bit of an understatement.
"How was your trip?" I asked trying to change the subject. For a millisecond I saw her face fall but the smile was back in an instant. For a second I thought it didn't happen but the shakiness of her voice told me otherwise.
"It was great!" She stirred the tea bag as Taehyung and I made eye contact momentarily.
"Mom?" I got out of my chair as she stared at the drink.
"What happened?" Taehyung added as she didn't speak.
"Nothing." She quickly changed the subject as I skeptically looked at her. I knew she wouldn't answer truthfully even if I pushed it further.
Eventually we let it go and it wasn't long before we were standing in front of the door.
"Come by anytime Taehyung." She hugged him but we all knew he couldn't come by 'anytime' maybe if my step dad wouldn't be there.
"I'll leave you to say goodbye." She walked away and towards the car as I looked at Taehyung.
"Only 15 minuets away." I said.
"Only 15 minuets away." He repeated, a silence following. He glanced at my mom in the car, "step-brothers hug right, that won't be weird-"
I wrapped my arms around his waist, my face pressing into his chest as he hugged me back. His scent and warmth wrapped around me and I didn't want to let go.
"Okay, I'm going to go now." I pulled away reluctantly as he reluctantly let go. This shouldn't be such a big deal, just a few miles away. "Bye." I took a step back.
"Bye." He smiled weakly. I had to quickly go to the car, otherwise it would look suspicious.
I stared out the window as we drove.
"I see you guys got close, I'm glad. I've always felt guilty that you were an only child.
Now you have each other."
