《My step brother is a stripper》54

(Taehyung's POV)

"Jungkook stop crying." Jimin said softly as Yoongi groaned. I took off my jacket and kneeled down next to Yoongi.

"Want me to count down?" I asked as he rolled his eyes.

"Shut the fuck up and do it." Yoongi hissed, the bullet had gone straight through his thigh. I tied my jacket around the wound to stop the bleeding. He hissed when I tightened it.

Jungkook had done what I told him, he pushed Jaemin's leg so his aim was off. Instead of the bullet going through Yoongi's heart, it went through his leg.

"He's not dead." I looked at Jungkook who was staring at Jaemin. I couldn't tell if he was crying because of all that happened or because he thought he was looking at a dead man. "I shot him in the dick, his skull hit the ground when he fell so he's knocked out." I explained.

Even with all that happened Jimin snickered when I said dick. I didn't mean to shoot him there but again, I haven't shot a gun in years, my aim was off. Jimin held his arm, his wrist probably broken in more than one way.

Jimin stood up with Jungkook's help as I hooked Yoongi's arm around my shoulders. And grabbing his waist to keep him steady as we stood up slowly. It was a slow trip to the car but eventually we made it, Yoongi in the back with Jungkook and Jimin in passengers seat.

I was about to get in when Yoongi stopped me.

"Go get the money suitcases! I didn't get shot for nothing!" Yoongi glared at me as I rolled my eyes. I made my way back into the warehouse when I heard static.

"Hello? Seung-hyun? Hello?" I glanced at one of the fallen men and realized it must be a walkie-talkie. I made my way over to him and found it on his belt. I pressed down the button.

"Hey you might want to come pick up your men, they probably have about ten minuets before they bleed to death." I dropped the Talkie and went to grab the suitcases as I heard the guy respond. But I didn't care to listen as I walked back to the car.

I put the suitcases in the backseat before getting in the drivers seat.

"Should we call 9-1-1?" Jimin asked when we were on the road, headed towards the nearest hospital.

"Those guys kill people for a living and you want to help them?" Yoongi asked but hissed when he accidentally moved his leg.

"I don't know." Jimin mumbled.

"Their men will come for them." I reassured him as I glanced at Jungkook in the mirror. He was fast asleep, his forehead pressed against the window.

"As soon as Yoongi's is not in a life threatening situation, and my wrist is better...I'm going to beat both of your asses!" Jimin promised, which I'm sure he'll follow through with. I knew Jungkook and Jimin were still mad but they'll leave it alone for tonight.

"Well I may have a minor concussion so you may want to hold off on that." I replied, I was struggling to keep my vision from becoming fuzzy. I reached up to touch my head and immediately winced.

(Jungkook's POV)

"Mr. Kim has a minor concussion. He should rest for awhile. No work, sports, excessive TV, or anything like that. Here's a prescription for headache medicine and anti-nausea medicine." The doctor handed me a prescription.

"Mr. Park will be put in a splint for his wrist. Then in about a week he'll get a cast. He'll need to elevate and ice his wrist. For him you can get over the counter pills. I'll give you a prescription for anti-inflammatories and some pain killers." He handed me another prescription.

"Mr. Min...luckily the bullet missed all vital veins and tissues so there won't be any long term effects. He'll be in surgery for another 30 minuets though. He needs to keep it wrapped at all times as not to get an infection. I've prescribed him with a strong pain killer since he will be in a lot of pain. Have him come to the hospital a week after being released for a check up." The doctor handed me a third prescription.

I'm glad I recorded all of that on my phone because I wouldn't have remembered anything. He was about to walk away when he turned to me again.

"How did all this happen exactly? Mr. Min instructed us not to call the police but-"

"Bad neighborhood, we were jumped. Yep, that's what happened." I hoped he couldn't see through my lie.

"Oh, you kids shouldn't be there so late at night." He states the obvious as I nodded quickly, sighing in relief when he left. It was a bit sad that out of all three men no one would come to see them to make sure their alright. They didn't have anyone...except maybe each other. Wait...Hoseok!

I sat down in the waiting area as I looked at my phone, a text from Jaebum from 15 minuets ago.

JB: I told your friend what happened as requested, he's heading over to the hospital now

Me: Thank you

Just as I put my phone down I looked up to see Hoseok frantically looking around. I stood up to wave him over and he immediately ran over and crushed me in a hug.

"Are you okay? Is Yoongi okay? What happened!" He pretty much yelled.

"Everyone's okay, well...everyone's alive and there won't be any permanent damage." I spoke as he seemed to calm down but only a tiny bit.

We sat down and I explained everything that happened. I made sure not to leave any details out as Hoseok stayed silent the whole time.

"That's crazy...but can't you die from a gunshot wound like that?" Hoseok asked, visibly worried for his boyfriend.

"It didn't hit anything vital, and we stopped the bleeding so no, there's pretty much no chance of him dying now."

"Why didn't you call me and tell me, why did you send some dude?" He laughed, his mood brighter since he now knew everyone was alright. I guess he wasn't as surprised about all the gang stuff because he already knew Yoongi did stuff like that.

"You would've thought I was lying." I crossed my arms as Hoseok laughed. We were often doing horrible prank calls on each other so I wanted to make sure he knew it was for real. The last prank call he did was that he was dying, when I rushed over there he said he was dying of hunger and that I should go buy us a pizza. I didn't talk to him for a week.

Yoongi was still knocked out from surgery and Hoseok didn't want to leave the hospital so I asked him to keep Jimin company as I went to see Taehyung. Hoseok was way better with people in pain, physically or emotionally, I only tended to ask the wrong questions.

I opened Taehyung's door slowly as his eyes switched from the TV to me.

"Took you long enough!" He groaned as I smiled, closing the door behind me. There was a silent agreement that we wouldn't bring up the gang or illegal histories tonight. But tomorrow, I'm getting answers.

"How do you feel?"

"Like my head was slammed into a concrete wall." Taehyung mumbled sarcastically as I made my way to the side of the bed. "Sorry, it's just that all the nurses keep asking me that, every 2 minuets...like my condition will change every 30 seconds." He grumbled, his eyes closing as he laid his head against the pillow.

"Hmm, anything I can do?" I highly doubted there was anything but I felt I had to ask.

"Lay down next to me?"

I looked back at the door, would the nurse be mad?

"Fuck her, I asked her to change the channel to Nickelodeon and she scolded me about how that was for little kids!" Taehyung voiced his resentment against her as I laughed, climbing into the hospital bed next to him as he scooted over.

"Fuck." I groaned remembering my mom was picking me up tomorrow. With everything that happened I forgot.

"I already packed for you, when I'm released tomorrow morning we can get home in time to meet her." He read my mind, turning on his side to face me. I was about to thank him when he spoke again. "I can tell there's something bothering you."

"What? No." I scoffed as Taehyung blinked at me, obviously not believing me.

"Well it's just that I'm the one who made the sound at the warehouse so it's my fault everyone got hurt. And it's my fault yet I'm the only one not disabled!"

"Are you complaining about not being disabled?"

"Tae I'm being serious." I mumbled. Ever since we got here the guilts been eating at me. If I hadn't been so curious and just stayed in my spot, none of that would've happened.

"It's not your fault." He intertwined our fingers, his eyes not leaving them. "It's mine, if it weren't for me...you and Jimin wouldn't have even been there in the first place." Taehyung explained.

I didn't agree with him. Depending on the way you look at it, anyone could be blamed. Yoongi for going to Taehyung in the first place. Taehyung for going along with it. Jimin for suggesting we go there. Me for making the noise that got us caught. In my opinion it wouldn't have all gone wrong if it weren't for me but Taehyung gave me a look that told me not to argue with him on it.

"Everyone's alright?" His nose brushed against mine as I nodded.

I didn't want tomorrow to come. I want to stay in today even though this had been the craziest day ever. But tomorrow I have to go home with my mom and pretend I'm not in love with my step brother/stripper/past gang member/a guy!

"Stop thinking so much." Taehyung tapped my nose with his finger.

"I don't think that's possible." I protested as he smiled, his thumb running across my bottom lip.

"I think I can help with that."
