"Hi papa." I smiled when my dad called me.
"Hi my dear! I've missed you. What's been going on?" Dad asked and papa chuckled.
"Uhm actually I called you the day of but I remembered your anniversary was that day, I have a boyfriend." I chuckled while nervousness swarmed me.
"This is the time I wish I lived in the same state as you Sailor! Ugh is he hot?" Papa asked and arms wrapped around my waist as a head was on my shoulder.
"You better be honest baby." He whispered.
"He's super hot." I told them.
"Gush is he tall? What does he look like? Like those hottie bad boys in those books you swoon over?" Dad asked.
"How about maybe you suggest we go there for 4th of July?" Jess whispered in my ear.
"How about I'll tell you and we come out for the fourth?" I asked my dads.
"Yes! Oh honey please that would be amazing. He treats you good right? I can turn my straight dad on real quick." Papa said and I laughed as his voice lowered.
"He treats me amazingly. Buys me a book and writes me a letter everyday." I said and Jessie pushed the wrapped book I didn't know he had in my hands.
"He even consoles me when I read something sad." I flexed.
"Oh he sounds darling! Tattoos?" Dad asked.
"Lots."
"Is he nice to you? Does he have friends?" Papa asked.
"He's really nice to me and he has two friends that are like older brothers to me." I said and Jessie kissed my temple.
"Bring the friends too! Leave tomorrow I booked the tickets already." Papa said and I gasped.
"No don't do that!" I complained.

"Seems like we're leaving soon hm?" Jess chuckled FaceTiming Ro.
"What's up?" He asked as Jessie put both our faces in the frame.
"We leave to the airport 6 am tomorrow all of us for an 8am boarding to Colorado to spend the Fourth of July there. We're gone for a week staying with Sailors dads." He said and O hopped in the frame.
"2 dads? Uhmmm I need to go there." He said and I laughed.
"Get your girl dolled up, come to the Stack I've got news." Owen said and I looked at him on the screen while he winked and I smiled.
"Alright love you both bye." Jessie hung up.
"Let's go watch you get dressed." He pulled my hand.
"Watch me. That's creepy." I laughed.
"Nope you're too sexy to not watch." He smirked.
He sat on my bed as I dug through my closet and dresser for clothes.
He watched as I found a cute black dress and began undressing, he tugged me by my waist when I was in nothing but underwear.
"I love you so damn much." He left open kisses on my stomach before he just hugged me, his head against my stomach.
I pet his hair and toyed with it for as long as he wished to hold me.
"I love you my boy." I whispered and he looked up at me, his hands gripping my waist tighter.
"Fuck Sailor. The urge to cry over you is strong." He said and I pouted holding his head in my hands.

"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Not in a bad way babygirl just in an 'I'm so grateful' kinda way." He smiled and I kissed his forehead.
"I'm very grateful for you Jess." I grinned.
"Now show me that cute ass dress you'll be wearing." He slapped my ass and I chuckled.
"You look breathtaking." He hugged me tightly to him.
"Excited?" I asked.
"I am. You're my charm, speaking of charm come here." He pulled me to my bathroom, pulling something from his pocket.
"Look at it!" He smiled and I saw it.
"Aweee." I smiled up at him and he put it around my wrist.
"Gave me beauty and the beast vibes and you're skin was the perfect tint for gold jewelry." He said nervously twisting his hands together and I grabbed them, placing small circles on the back of his hands.
"It's perfect. Uhm, I have something too." I walked to my nightstand and got a home made bracelet.
"I made these when I was a kid and made some again. Here." I offered him two braided bracelets I made.
"They're perfect. Thank you Sailor." He smiled putting them both on his left wrist.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Yep." I nodded and he walked behind me as I left and locked the door when he got out after I put on my Vans.
He drove and kept his hand on my thigh, gradually squeezing and he looked nervous.
"What's wrong?" I put my hand over his.
"Nerves. I usually don't get nervous though and the guy I'm racing I've beat 5 times. I'm not sure what's wrong." He shook his head.
"Can you try to think of what could be wrong? I don't want your mind clouded when you race." I said and he smiled at me.
"I think I might just need to hold you beforehand. I think I'll be fine." He nodded.
"You positive?" I asked.
"I am. My first race being in love, big things." He laughed and I smiled.
We got there and he stepped out with me, leaning against the car while holding me to him.
"Hey Sail." Owens hand was on my arm.
"Hello." I nearly sang, hugging him.
"Hi sis." Ro hugged me.
"I have news." Owen smiled, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
"What's up?" Jessie asked.
"I'm gay." He said barely loud enough.
"We know." Rowan said and Jessie nodded.
"How?" He asked.
"Those bitches that came over with Sailor? You paid them no time of day. Went to the club your eyes were on the man dancing with one of the chicks. You're not very discreet brother." Rowan chuckled.
"So it's okay?" He asked.
"Of course, I'm about to meet my girlfriends gay dads and I couldn't be more excited. I hope you find someone for you too." Jessie hugged Owen.
"Aweee." I smiled when Ro hugged Owen after.
"Come here charm." Jessie pulled me to him and I put my head on his chest, breathing his scent.
"You ready to race? I brought your car." Ro said to Jess and I looked up at him.
He kissed my forehead and smiled.
"More than ready." He winked at me and kissed me hard before leaving in his now loud racing car.
"He's gonna kill it." Owen chuckled.

Tales of the Legendary Scholar
They meet in the most unlikely moment and turned their life around. Freidrech newly arrived in his own nation's capital city, which is so foreign to him compared to his village's idyllic and nondiscriminatory atmosphere, after he is forced to come. Now, he is facing a royal prince and tells him to bow. This draws out one of his late father's teachings from the deepest recesses in his mind. "The blood of your great ancestors runs in your veins. Don't easily bow down to anyone, or accept suppression by any being, not even from a monarch, unless you pledge your allegiance to him. Also, giving in to oppression is directly telling the oppressor that you're easy prey and open for manipulation." He is uncertain on how to face this oppression right now. Will he bows or not? What will he do to uphold his father's words while keeping his life safe? As for the prince, Theodrech has nothing to do with Freidrech, so he wishes to let this slip, but the boy opens his mouth and proposes the most ludicrous challenge he ever heard and triggers his curiosity. "I, Freidrech Goederf Gerboud, son of the late Village Chief Louvel Gerboud of Wrilon, will challenge you, Your Highness, to a battle of riddles… If you win, I will not only bow but be your servant for the rest of my life." This amuses the prince. It is the first he met a boy of the same age who is not intimidated by the air of authority he projects. Rather, this boy challenges him. "Why are you so headstrong? In fact, bowing to me is an honor. You saw the King's noble Knights. When they saw me, they bowed," says Theodrech, testing Freidrech. "Allow me to be forward, Your Highness. For me, bowing to a monarch does not guarantee loyalty. If I were you, I rather have men who stand straight in my presence but who got my back, than bowing men who are dreaming of my death," replies Freidrech. The prince’s curiosity increases. A huge smile is seen on his face. Prince Theodrech decides to take Freidrech under his wing. Little did they know, this boy who Prince Theodrech takes in as his confidant and friend in the most ridiculous fashion is someone indispensable in his life and the one who can help him succeed the throne when he almost believes he has lost. Thus, the Tales of the Legendary Scholar begins. ------ o ------ Old Synopsis: A famous ancient adage stated, behind a successful man is a woman BUT… In these lands, the monarchs are seeking not a woman to stand behind them but the man hailed as the Legendary Scholar. Follow Freidrech’s adventures, on how he wins the heart of the future king of Xaeviel, befriends outlaws, prevents the people from being slaughtered from an unknown plague, rerouting the enemies’ attacks when reinforcements are denied, secures Prince Theodrech’s claim to the throne in the midst of utter despair, and many more.
8 237The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple
