《Spencer Reid/MGG One Shots》2 - SR

"Em!" you shout as you pull up to your best friend's house. She's walking down her driveway with her friends/coworkers in tow. Emily hops into the front seat of your car giving you a welcomed smooch on the cheek while Penelope scoots into the seat behind you followed by JJ. "Girls night out!" you cheer, "let's go!"
"Prentiss you gotta tell her," JJ says with a grimice.
"Yeah, sorry babe. We're meeting the boys first, but I promise we'll ditch them quick and go straight to dancing," Emily informs you.
"You're kidding! I've been looking forward to this all week. Are all the boys going to be there?" you complain.
"Rossi, Reid, and Morgan. Hotch is with his own boy tonight," Penelope speaks up.
"Eh, that's not too bad. At least we know Rossi will be paying. Where are we headed?"
"O'Keefe's and step on it! We've been making those poor boys wait," Emily directs.
You step on the gas and pull away from Emily's house heading towards the team's usual bar. At least it was just a couple blocks away from the club you were planning on going to anyway. JJ, Penelope, and Emily started talking about the case they had just finished up that afternoon. Even though you aren't a part of the team, you're one of Emily's closest friends. She lived in the apartment next to yours when she first moved to D.C. forever ago and the two of you became fast friends. Sadly, she moved out a couple years ago when she bought her house. You miss having your best friend ten feet away from you most nights, but you're happy for her. Her house is better for parties anyway.
You met the girls pretty soon after you got close to Emily. There were lots of wine Wednesdays at her apartment with JJ and Penelope. That turned into you becoming Emily's plus one at JJ and Will's wedding at Rossi's house where you finally got to meet the whole team. You became fast friends with all the guys which led to getting invited to the occasional night out at the bar with the team. That wasn't the intention for tonight, but it looks like it is turning out that way. You're not complaining, that just wasn't the original plan. You're all dressed up for a girls night out dancing, heels and your tightest jeans and everything, a bit much for a bar trip with the team. At least all the girls are on the same level as you so you won't be the odd one out.
You finally pull up to the bar and score a sweet parking spot right down the street. You double check the street signs to make sure you won't get towed if your car ends up staying here overnight. Let's just say it's happened before and you refuse to let it happen again.
The four of you hop out of the car and head into the bar, waving at your favorite bouncer on the way in. To say that the BAU were regulars at this place would be an understatement. Garcia quickly spots Reid's head poking out above the rest of the crowd. You follow her to the back corner while JJ and Emily grab the four of you your first round of drinks. The guys had saved the normal spot: a big round booth in the back.
"Y/N! Long time no see!" Rossi grabs you by the face and kisses both your cheeks. Dave and Hotch only comes out every so often. The old men can't keep up with the rest of the crew half the time.

"Oh, I missed you too, old man! I should never have to go that long without seeing your beautiful Italian face," you wink at him.
Rossi gives you a bit of a chuckle, "you sure know how to make a man's day, sweetheart."
You finally turn to Morgan and he pulls you into a big hug like always.
"Hey kiddo," he says by your ear while squeezing you.
"How was that hangover from last time, buddy? Did you have a good morning?" you recall having to give him a ride home after your last night out with a team. He barely stumbled his way into his house, heading straight for the bathroom.
"Shhhh, we're not going to talk about that. Tonight's going to be a chill one."
"Oh no it is not! We're going dancing and you are coming with us!"
"Dancing?" Spencer finally speaks up.
"Yes, dancing! O'Keefe's is just the beginning!" JJ buts in as Emily and her walk up with your drinks. She hands you your usual whiskey ginger and you clink your glass to Reid's.
"Cheers, doctor! Now drink up, we've got a fun night ahead of us," you give him a big smile. You know there's no alcohol in Spencer's cup, but he's always a good sport and plays along.
After a few drinks each and a lot of loud conversation and even more fooling around, you and the girls decide its time to move onto the next phase of your evening. Rossi goes to the bar to pay of the tab (god bless that man) while Penelope fills in Morgan and Reid on the details. Rossi makes his way back over to say goodnight before he heads home.
"Dave," you whine. "You never come out dancing with us! Are you too old to dance now?"
"Oh, Y/N, you have no idea what I'm capable of," he taunts. "I'll come next time I promise." He waves goodbye and makes his way out of the bar.
The rest of you slowly follow him out, congregating outside the bar. "To the club!" Garcia yells and leads the charge down the block. You thread your arm through Emily's and follow Penelope's lead, turning your head to check that the boys are still following behind you. You see Derek give Spencer a little nudge , obviously teasing him about something as usual. Reid looks over at you and Morgan gives you a sly wink. You give them a questioning look followed by a big grin. You're just excited you could convince them to come with. The more the merrier!
The six of you head into the club and are immediately hit by the loud music. Thankfully, it wasn't too packed, the bar and dancefloor only about half full. Plenty of room for you and the girls to get your groove on.
"Yay!" Penelope shrikes and grabs JJ and Emily by the hand and drags them onto the dance floor. Emily waves you on to follow them, but you hold up a finger letting her know to give you a second. You walk over to the bar where the guys have already posted up and squeeze in between them. As you order three shots, Derek puts his arm around your shoulder and pulls you to his side, turning the two of you to face Spencer. You pick up the freshly poured shots off of the bar, handing one to Derek and offering the other one to Spencer. On occasion you could convince him to indulge a little, but tonight sadly wasn't one of those nights.

"Cheers!" you and Derek shout over the music as you take the shot together. As soon as it goes down, Morgan coughs a bit.
"Wrong pipe," he explains while removing his arm from your shoulders and thumping his chest with a fist.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't know it was amerature hour," you tease as you pick up the extra shot and take it down in one quick motion. You look up and Reid is staring at you. You mouth the word "what" to him with a bit of a smile. He just shakes his head and grins right back at you. You start giggling until you realize Derek is still getting over his coughing fit. You wave over the bartender and ask her for a glass of water for your suffering friend. She hands it to him with a nod and a flitracious look on her face.
You turn to the dance floor to see Emily, JJ, and Penelope going buck wild out there. They look a bit crazy compared to the rest of the crowd, but they also look like they're having the most fun. JJ sees you and waves you over.
"Duty calls," you say to the boys as you dance your way over the the girls. Honestly, nothing beats dancing your little heart out with your favorite ladies. After a few songs, you notice Emily has wandered off a bit to dance with some random guy while Garcia has gone over the bar to flirt with Morgan as per usual. You and JJ keep dancing wrapping your arms around each other and moving to the beat and laughing your asses off. A man taps JJ on the shoulder as the song ends asks her to dance. She smiles and nods, giving you a little wink and leaving you friendless on the dancefloor.
"I see your friend got whisked away," some guy says way too close to your ear after sneaking up on you.
"Uh, yeah, that's what it looks like," you reply awkwardly, looking around for some help, but everyone else is preoccupied and no one seems to notice the predicament you'be found yourself in.
"I think it's my turn for a dance," he states as he somehow gets closer to you.
"Actually it's my turn." You immediately recognize the voice coming from behind and you let out a breath. "You can go now," Spencer says unwaveringly.
"Yeah, and who are you? Her boyfriend or something?" the guy asks, obviously not feeling threatened at all.
"Yeah, I am," Spencer says. "You should keep moving." To your surprise, he wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you to his chest.
The guy puts his hands up and grumbles, "whatever, man." He accepts his loss and walks back the way he came from.
You relax back into Reid's hold, relieved the situation is over with. That's when it finally hits that the two of you are in a somewhat intimate position.
"Oh, shit, sorry," you apologize as you pull Spencer's arms from around your waist and finally turn to face him. You know him as well as you know any of the other guys from the BAU, but you've never been touchy with him like you are with Morgan and Rossi. You know how he can be with germs, no harm no foul.
"Oh no, don't apologize Y/N. I'm the one that, uh, grabbed you, I guess," he explains shyly with a little blush rising in his cheeks.
"Thank you, for doing that, Spencer. You really didn't have to. I could've handled it myself."
"Yeah I know, I just thought a little help couldn't hurt," he shrugs back with his hands tucked in his pockets.
"Well let me give you a proper thank you then. Dance with me!" you give him the biggest grin you physically can, excited that he's out on the dance floor with you.
"Oh, nononono Y/N. Um, I'm going back to the-"
"No, Spence!" you interrupt him. "You told that guy it was your turn to dance with me so dance with me!"
"I, uh, I don't know Y/N. I'm not much of a dancer."
"Reid, I know you're a man of your word. Dance with me?" you ask a little sweeter this time. He sighs as he seems to come to terms with the fact that you're not going to let him get out of this one. You grab his hands, making him move around with you a bit. You bounce around on your toes while he just kind of sways with that what-have-I-gotten-myself-into look on his face. You let go of his hands and start executing your silliest moves trying to get him to give you that smile you love so much. It worked! And your moves must be more seductive than you thought because he started to get into the music a bit more. Yeah he was awkward as hell, but you thought it was adorable and you were having the best time ever.
The music abruptly changed from the usual upbeat dance anthem to a slower song. You looked up towards the DJ confused, but it became so clear so quickly. Emily was up there with an arm around the DJ while he looked at her smitten. She was staring right at you and gave you a sly wink. Why are you not surprised she seduced the DJ into taking her obscure song request. You rolled your eyes at her and turned to Reid who had stopped dancing and was just standing there awkwardly, hands back in his pockets.
You gave into Emily's antics knowing exactly what she wanted you to do. You grabbed Spencer's hands once more and slowly pulled him toward you. He looked at you quizzically as you placed his hands on your waist and wrapped yours around his neck.
"Y/N, you don't have to do this. Let's just go back to the bar," he says as he starts to pull away.
"No, you still owe me a dance. And.. And I want to," you give him a small smile. "Do you want to?"
"Yeah, I want to," he says so quietly you almost miss it. The two of you sway back and forth, slowly moving closer as the song progresses. You reach the point where there's only an inch between you and you lean your forehead on his chest Under his chin. You can feel his breath on your ear and it only relaxes you further into his chest.
"Thanks, again, Spence. For saving me," you lift your head up to meet his eyes.
"Anytime or anywhere, Y/N. As long as I get this great of a thank you every time," he smiles down at you. You pull yourself closer to him, filling in that last inch and pressing your body flush to his. Spencer's smile falters a bit as he seems to realize your intention. You lift yourself up onto your toes as he takes the que and dips his head down towards yours. Your lips meet in an instant and, as cheesy as it sounds, the music faded away and it felt like you were the only two people in the room.
Sure you always thought Reid was a cutie, but you never though you'd be in his arms, kissing him in the middle of a club. The kiss quickly turned into something a bit more intense as you became a bit more forceful and he slid his hands down to your ass. You grasped at his shoulder with one hand and pulled at the hair at the top of his neck with the other. You surprised Spencer (and yourself) when a little moan escaped your mouth, causing you to pull back slowly, not without giving him one last quick peck.
"Whoa," he whispered placing his forehead to yours and breathing a bit heavier than before. You giggled at his reaction, having thought the exact same thing. You finally peel yourself away from him, giving you the space you needed to breathe. This is when you both made the major mistake of looking over at the bar where the majority of the BAU were staring at you. Emily looked smug, Morgan looked proud, JJ looked shocked, and Penelope looked thrilled.
"Well.. Fuck," you laughed know Spencer had just seen the same thing.
"Yeah, that's one way to put it," he chuckled back.
"I don't know if I can handle going back over there right now," you said, only half joking, glancing back over at the group.
"Then we won't," Spencer said with a bit of a glimmer in his eye. "Let's go." He grabbed you by the hand and pulled you out of the club, neither of you looking back.
