《Two Existentialists | S.R.》61

You spent the rest of your two week honeymoon tangled up in bed with Spencer until noon most days, when you would drag him out to the private beach. Sometimes you would go for a swim, sometimes you would lay in the sand, Spencer reading to you. And, sometimes, you and Spencer would get lost in the moment and end up tangled in each other on the beach. Although, that would elicit a lot of complaints from him.
"I hate sand," he muttered, his fingers tracing circles on your shoulder.
You lifted your head from his chest, shaking it lightly. "You literally planned this trip Spence," you teased. He frowned, moving his hand to your neck, pulling you in for a kiss.
You smiled against his lips, pulling away and sighing happily. "I just didn't think you would enjoy doing it on a beach. I mean, it's a public place and there's sand," he said, picking up sand and grimacing.
"It's a private beach in Europe and you look far too good in swim shorts, it's a recipe for disaster."
"Hmm, you do look better with that bikini top off," he replied, licking his lip**, his hands reaching for the tie behind your neck. You grinned, kissing him as he peeled your swimsuit off of you.
"I really hate sand," you heard him whisper a few minutes later as you closed your eyes, breathing heavily.

Two days before you had to return, you and Spencer went back to Rome, enjoying all of the tourist destinations. You ate more pizza than you thought was possible and finished every meal with gelato.
The night before your flight, you walked around a brightly lit square, pulling Spencer to the Trevi fountain. "Let's make a wish," you said, looking up at him.
"Did you know an estimated 3,000 euros are thrown in every day. It's all given to an Italian charity but that's truly remarkable," Spencer rambled. You giggled, kissing his cheek as you grabbed a coin from his hand. "It's said that one coin means a return to Rome, two means a return and finding love and three means a return, finding love, and marriage."

"Well then, I only need one," you replied, lacing your left hand with his as you spun around, tossing the coin over your left shoulder. Spencer beamed, watching you gain happiness from this simple tourist tradition.
"I love you, you know that?" He asked, pulling you into his arms. You smiled, tucking a piece of his hair behind his ear.
"It's etched into my brain," you answered. "I love you too Spence."
-
Your happily every after faded a mere two hours after you landed in Washington. You had returned to your townhouse before showering and driving to headquarters with Spencer.
He laced his fingers with yours, kissing your hand as you exited the elevator. He guided you to the round-table room, everyone smiling as the two of you walked in.
"How was Italy?" JJ asked happily, standing up and hugging you.
"Amazing. I ate so many carbs."
"Meet any Italian cuties?" Garcia asked.
"Yeah, there was one," you joked, making Spencer frown as he held you closer.
"Hey now, don't make pretty boy here jealous. I can see it in his eyes," Derek teased. You smirked, looking up at Spencer, meeting his beautiful big eyes. They were focused on you but all you saw in them was love, and maybe a twinge of something else.
"That's not jealousy in Reid's eyes, Morgan," Emily interjected, making everyone laugh.
"How was my villa?" Rossi asked, walking in. You spun around, grinning at the man.
"Like a dream."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it, seeing as you have no tan lines," he muttered, making you blush. Spencer covered his face as everyone laughed again.
"Alright, let's stop abusing the newlyweds," Hotch announced as he entered the room holding a folder. "I hate to do this but we have a case. Reid, we're going to need you on it."

Spencer looked at you sadly, you shaking your head. "Go be a superhero, I'll see you soon Spence," you said. He nodded, kissing your forehead before releasing you.
"I love you," he whispered.
"And I you," you replied, waving goodbye to him and everyone else.
-
You woke up six days later to the smell of something burning. You raced down the stairs, shaking your head as you entered the kitchen. Spencer was frantically waving a towel under the smoke alarm. "What did you do?" You asked, laughing as you turned off the stove.
"I was trying to make you breakfast," he replied softly.
"Hmm, how about we go out for breakfast instead?"
"That may be a better idea," he muttered, kissing the top of your head.
-
For thanksgiving this year, Rossi decided to host a dinner at his mansion. You were exited, given that he knew his way around a kitchen. "Honestly, if Rossi weren't as old as my dad, I'd marry him," you said as you did your hair.
"Y/N!" Spencer shouted. You laughed, rolling your eyes.
"I'm just kidding. You know I only have eyes for one man."
Spencer exited the bathroom, shaking his head. "Good because I was prepared to show you how much I didn't like that comment," he whispered, leaning down near your ear making you shiver in response.
"Show me anyway?" You asked, putting the curler down and turning.
"Later, we're already running late."
-
After dinner, Spencer entertained Jack and Henry. You bit your lip, excusing yourself and walking out onto the patio. "What is it?" Spencer asked, following you outside, closing the door behind him.
"Nothing," you replied as he approached you, guiding you to the swing.
"Y/N, I'm a profiler. I know something is on your mind. It has been all week. You can tell me," he said, holding your face in his hand. You nuzzled your cheek into his palm.
"When we get home, I don't want to ruin your night," you said gently.
"Nothing you say could ruin tonight. Unless you're leaving me, you're not leaving me, right?" he asked worriedly. You shook your head furiously.
"No, no, never," you defended. "Spence I was thinking, I actually have been for a while, how would you feel about starting a family?"
Spencer blinked, looking at you as you played with your hands. "Like a baby?"
"Yes, a baby," you confirmed. "Can we start trying?" Spencer grinned, yanking you into his lap, kissing you passionately. You pulled away, touching your lips. "Is that a yes?"
"A baby? Our baby? Yes, 100 times yes."
You smiled, leaning up and kissing him again. You heard a wolf whistle, pulling apart and blushing. "Do try not to commit any crimes on my property," Rossi muttered, returning inside. Derek raised his eyebrows at you and Spencer suggestively. You shook your head, climbing off of Spencer. He wrapped his arm around you, holding you close as you came back inside, a smile taking place on both your faces.

Hello everyone. A few things in regards to the new book I'm writing:
1. Do you prefer the main character to have a name or Y/N
2. More fluff or more drama?
3. Coworkers or a random meet-cute?
That is all, thanks for your input!

The Deathseeker [Under Revision]
NOTE: This story has dark elements, but it's neither grimdark nor particularly edgy. It's also currently being revised. Satan's Axe...Lord of High Honor...The Immortal Giant...The Black Maelstrom...Son of Thunderfield...The Gods' Retribution. Dalric had many names. None were as fitting as his last, Dalric the Deathseeker. Born from an unwanted mating between the greatest warriors of the time, death was his only true kin. It birthed him, molded him, and now standing in the middle of a lifeless battlefield, it drenched him. The blood of thousands of soldiers soaked his skin. Two hundred thousand men approached him that day. All of them sought his life, none of them left with theirs. But they would not die in vain, they had accomplished their mission. Hidden beneath a thousand layers of their blood, was Dalric's very own. Feeling his life fade, he gazed weakly at his work. A seemingly endless array of corpses laid battered and disfigured before him. Some bore faces of horror, most had no face at all. His most trusted companion floated in front of him, blocking the view. Waves of sorrow flowed between them. “My time has finally come. I’ve begged for death and it’s finally arrived. My work is done...and so is yours. You’re free to be who you were meant to.” With his contract with the gods fulfilled, they were truly free. The centuries of torment would end. No longer would they have to walk the path of a monster. Little did Dalric know, the devil was in the details. What To Expect: A good time. In a few more words than that, a cast of believable characters in a unique world dealing with conflicts and problems a little bit more complex than punching the big evil guy in the face. Just a little though. Minimum Word Count a Week: 5000 Release Time(s): Between Friday 12pm EST and Monday 6am EST I also write A King in the Clouds
