Leith... or you?
-
A tear slid down your face, your hand fell limp at your side. And the phone dropped to the ground with a thud. Your vision blurred from tears and a sob broke out from your chest. You fell to the ground as you wept.
You had remembered when you and Leith first met.
~flashback~
As you made your way towards your homeroom, your hand stopped on the handle. Taking a few deep breaths you opened it.
"Surprise motherfucker!~" A woman sang as she sprung out from behind a chair and sprayed you with water. Your hands instinctively flew up to protect your face.
The woman gasped and covered her mouth as your hands lowered. "I am so sorry, I thought you were a friend of mine!" She quickly rushed over to you patting you down with paper towels. "I'm so sorry please forgive me I-"
"It's fine." You clicked your tongue, wiping down your shirt.
"I'll pay for laundry, anything you want!" She said, looking up towards you. Then her face instantly flushed.
"You look kinda hot." She whispered, unaware that you heard her.
That made you giggle, then it turned into laughter. Her eyes instantly widened as she realized you heard her. "I'm sorry I didn't mea-"
You stopped laughing and chuckled. "So you're saying I'm not hot now?" Her mouth popped open. "No! I just didn't mean to say it out-"
"It's fine, I was just messing with you." You smiled. And she smiled sheepishly.
"I'm Leith." She reached her hand out.
"Y/n." You returned the handshake.
~flashback ended~
Was this really going to be the last time you saw her?
You have been best friends for god knows how long. It hurts way too much to think about not seeing her again. You got up from your knees, quickly wiping your tears away.

You went back to your house. Grabbing a gun and that knife. You wondered if you called the police, if he would kill her, you weren't going to chance it. You hid the gun on your thigh, and the knife in the heel of your boot.
You waited until 3 am, that night.
-timeskip-
You looked back at the clock for the 3000th time, 2:40.
It's time, to make your way over there.
As you drove, your heart plummeted, this was it. You were going to die, and if not, Leith was. You hopped out leith's car as you arrived.
You checked your phone. 2:54.
You sighed and nodded at the guards, you showed them your guest card, and they had recognized you when you left with the girl that drop kicked their friend. So they quickly opened the gate.
You quickly walked towards the building, opening the door and walking towards the elevator. You went to floor 1 and walked the halls. Your footsteps are the only thing heard. You opened the big vault-like door and walked timidly inside.
You nodded at the guards, and they recognized you from yesterday. One of them asked why you were here.
"They're giving liquor in the break room, something about big boss is gone and they want to have fun." You easily lied.
All their eyes widened and a few instantly ran towards the door, only one staying behind. You waved him over and quickly hit his throat and knocked him out.
You then walked to the cells that had the darkened glass on. You walked over to Michael Myer's cell, looking at his keypad and pressing night mode 'off'. The glass brightened and became crystal clear, showing how close he was to the glass.
You took a step back, startled.

Your heart was thumping in your ears as your hand slowly went to the keypad, pressing 'Open'. The glass lifted with a 'clunk' and steam was blowing off the hinges. Then an alarm sounded.
The blaring noise had you covering your ears, and the every cell's nightmode, switched off. Michael had quickly stepped out and grabbed you by the throat. Throwing you across the room into a door.
"Michael!" You heard a man scream. Your ears were ringing and you groaned as pain enveloped you and you fell to the ground. "Help us!"
Michael had opened the other cells. And then he quickly ran towards you, pulling you up by your hair as you struggled in his grip. You quickly kicked him in the face, but not hard enough to knock him down, just hard enough for his face to jerk to the side.
Your heartbeat was going wild and your breathing was irregular as your fight or flight instinct kicked in. You grabbed his arm with both of your hands and twisted it using all your strength and he let go, only lightly. But just enough for you to send a kick to his balls and drop to the ground.
You ran towards the exit as guards were running, yelling and arguing to each other. You heard gunshots and you flinched and covered your ears, as you picked up your pace. Within minutes you had scaled the building running straight towards leith's car.
Quickly jumping in and speeding backwards only for something to hit the car and you shakily looked in your back mirror. To see Michael Myers holding the car in place with one hand. You screamed as you tried to go forward but he punched through the glass window and grabbed you by your neck, an instant wave of pain washed over you as he punched you in your face.
The last thing you heard was the car door opening,
then it went black.

Both grew up in the closest thing they knew to Hell, each with terrible problems of their own. Perhaps, that is why they were so drawn to each other. The one no one else dared speak to. Rex's anger issues always got the best of him, even when that idiot girl came tumbling into his life. She just wouldn't leave him the fuck alone. No matter how much he liked it. He could convince himself he wasn't good for her as much as he wanted. It didn't matter, she wouldn't let him be and he would soon refuse to let her go.
