《HEIWA ─ Inumaki T.》17 | Manifestation

"Wah.. Another earthquake?"
Okkotsu asks himself, wondering where you and Maki have gone to after a mysterious curtain appeared on the school.
"What's happening?" He sweatdrops.
It's been a few minutes since he heard commotion from outside the classroom- Maki calling out your name and running down the halls.
should he go check?
'Y/N said i should stay..'
But what would he gain from that? From staying behind and waiting for something to happen? He's capable of exorcising curses-it wouldn't hurt if he joined the fight, right? he'll be scolded by Gojo that's for sure, but he can worry about that later.
He has his friends safety to worry about first.
With that in mind, Okkotsu stands up from his seat, picking up his katana that is still in it's case. He exits the classroom, nervous about what he's about to see.
Is it going to be bloody? Maybe that's why Y/N and Maki were taking so long to come back. Is it an emergency and the two of them just forgot to inform him? He hoped not. Multiple possibilities and scenarios floods his mind, though he tries his best to ignore it all.
'They're capable.'
He thought, reassuring himself. Maki's strong despite having the lowest grade out of all of the first years, and she's great with handling weapons. Y/N, on the other hand, uses lightning which can be strong enough to take down special grade curse. Okkotsu has no doubts about Y/N and Maki's skills as a sorcerer.
His grip on his katana tightens as he reaches doors leading to outside the building.
Though what he didn't expect is a corpse ready to greet him.
Barely breathing.
"Maki..?"
His eyes widen, hands beginning to shake. he looks around to see what more damage has been done to the school only to meet eyes with the one who caused it.
"Truth is, Okkotsu, i wanted you to also live to see this. But this is all for the future of the jujutsu world."
The man says, as if he didn't hurt the sorcerers who are also the future of the jujutsu world. Well, atleast they're all out of the way of his plans-Geto was only trying to show them that they stood no chance against him and his curses.

"Panda.."
Okkotsu, still shocked, sees his classmate laying face first on the ground. Much to his dismay, he didn't seem to be moving either. Something the catches his attention.
"yuuu..ddaaa.."
"inumaki!"
His breath hitches when he sees his other classmate who called him. Inumaki was on his back, blood running down on the corners of his mouth.
"Ru.. Run.."
He tried to talk, to use his jujutsu to hopefully save Okkotsu from Geto, but it seems like he had lost consciousness before he can command the boy.
To add more salt to the growing wound, Okkotsu turns to the body a few feet away from Geto, curled into a ball.
Y/N, who did all that they can to defeat Geto on their own despite their reopening injuries, struggles to stay conscious. Every inch of their body seems to be aching after being rained with punched and kicks. They look like they were in so much pain.
It was now clear for Okkotsu that until he gets what he wants, Geto won't stop. So what should the boy do with that?
"COME!"
"RIKA!"
Give him what he's been wanting to have, of course.
Geto has been waiting for this moment. He lets out a laugh, thinking his hard work has finally paid off.
"I shall kill you."
"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!"
In contrast to the calm curse user, Okkotsu's furious. He came out the school, expecting to see two of his friends doing well while dealing with the person who placed the curtain over the school, but what does he see the moment he finally does exit the building?
Four heavily injured bodies and the man that tried to push his insane beliefs onto him.
Geto has attacked first after declaring to kill the boy.
Okkotsu, with the help of Rika, had managed to collect the bodies of his friends before fleeing to a different place and structure. The boy jumps in between building, dodging and slicing the curses sent his way. He lands onto a balcony.
"Let's use quantity over quality first." Geto says from below, "What will you do, queen of curses?"
He says, referring to the curse attached to Okkotsu.
"Rika." the boy says, Making his curse drop the four bodies they have. He jumps down from the railings on the balcony, crouching between Maki, Y/N, and Inumaki.

'The two of them have horrible injuries, especially Maki..'
'Hokori's doing a bit better. I hope their gunshot wound wasn't affected too much.'
He holds his hands above the three of them, cursed energy Making his palm glow.
"I won't let you die!"
Doing what he was taught, the three bodies are now encased with cursed energy. Similar to their school nurse, ieiri shoko, he's able to use the reverse cursed technique.
Much to his relief, Y/N's eyes shot open. They immediately sit up, beginning to look around as they didn't expect to wake up at a place they weren't familiar with.
'Where the hell's Geto?!'
They see Rika, and Okkotsu who has a small smile on his face.
"What the?!"
"You're awake!"
Y/N could only nod, brows furrowed. They swore they were knocked out by Geto only a few minutes ago.. Oh well, that's not the problem now.
"Are you alright-"
Before Okkotsu could properly ask, Maki's body was suddenly snatched by Rika. Surprised, both first years stood up, eyes darting to Rika who is now holding Maki's body.
"Not fair.. Not fair.."
"Only you! Only you!
Y/n scrunches their nose, weirded out by the spirits behavior. A taiko appears by their side, once again shifting into a sword. This time, they could feel electricity on the weapon.
"Rika, what are you doing?" Okkotsu ask, Making the curse turn it's head to him,
"I owe that person a lot.. You have to treat her very carefully..!"
A shiver runs down Y/N's spine. Something about the tone he used freaked them out; is Okkotsu trying to intimidate his own curse into placing Maki's unconcious body down? Would it even work?
Much to their surprise, it did.
"Ahh.." Rika start, "Ah.."
The curse, as if panicking, brings the girls body back to Okkotsu and handing her over to him. He carries her bridal style.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry!" Rika apologizes, shedding tears. The curse looks sincere.
"Don't get mad.."
"I'm not mad." Okkotsu replies, looking back at the curse with a small smile.
"Don't hate me.."
"I'd never hate you." he reassures her before turning to Y/N, "Are you good for another round?"
The first year sighs, sparing Inumaki's unconcious body a glance. Geto has already did a lot of damage that if not for Okkotsu's help, wouldn't be undone. Y/N just glad Maki's still breathing after what Geto did to her.
"I'm gonna cut his head off." they mutter, and the boy just took that as a sign that Y/N's ready to fight alongside him.
Okkotsu sweatdrops. They really have a way with their words.
He then places his attention back to Geto that was standing patiently on the ground. Y/N climbs up the railings on the balcony before sitting. Okkotsu, on the other hand, is standing up.
"My enemy is.. That guy."
He tells Rika, referring to Geto.
"Yuta.. Hates that guy..?" the curse says.
"Yes, i hate him." is what the boy replies.
Rika shows something similar to a smile.
"Then.. Rika hates him too."
Y/N observes him from the corner of their eye. From what they're seeing, Rika is obedient and would listen to everything that Okkotsu says. Okkotsu has the power to make this special grade think and do whatever he wants-between the two, this seems more of an obsession than puppy love.
'Freaky..' but Y/N had to admit that it's amazing having a curse as a companion. Just not.. The thing Rika and Okkotsu has right now.
"Welcome back."
Geto says, watching Okkotsu and Rika jump to a utility pole. Y/n stays on the balcony, sword already drawn.
"Why aren't you attacking?" the boy ask.
"A very complicated jujutsu circuit is necessary for healing using curse power." Geto explains, "Isn't it better to let you concentrate as much as possible?"
"Let's continue."
The man then adds, raising his hands. He summons multiple groups of cursed spirits, all taking the form of a large centipede.
Okkotsu holds his hand out, and Y/N sees Rika dropping something.
"Rika, let's do that."
Okkotsu now holds a megaphone familiar to Y/N. Along with Geto as he was also surprised at the sudden appearance of a cursed tool he knows, their eyes widen.
'The snake and fangs! Inumaki's spell!'
