Freezing.
Confused.
Where the hell is she?
Kamei had never once thought that she'll be kidnapped, but here she is. Inside a cold room, tied to a metal pole, and the only door locked shut. She looked around, brows furrowed, but she couldn't find any other exit.
She had recently regained consciousness, and is now wondering where the hell she is.
"Hello?" she calls, voice echoing, "Hello?!"
No one answers. The girl clicks the roof of her tongue, beginning to recall what happened before she suddenly passed out.
She woke up, had breakfast with her classmates, hung out with a friend, and then went to train. Nishimiya had asked for a favor, and that is to go buy some drinks for everyone, and Kamei complies.
Now she's all alone at the vending machines.. The last thing Kamei remembers is someone grabbing her from behind and placing a wet tower over her mouth.
"Such a cheap move but i fell for it." an irk mark appears on her forehead, and she returns her attention back to her bind.
'Use the dog and get out. Yeah.'
She thought, taking a deep breath.
She has already thought of a plan on how to get out. It's simple, really- use her jujutsu and command her shikigami to free her. After that, Kamei would just need to figure out where the hell she is and who has the nerve to abduct her at school of all places.
The girl doesn't waste time in summoning her shikigami, but much to her surprise..
'..Nothing happened?'
"Impossible.." she mutters, "What the hell?"
Confused, Kamei tries to break free from the rope used to tie both of her hands. Her attempts are fruitless.
Now she really needs to know where she is. This is dangerous- who in their right mind would even kidnap a girl in high-school? The more she thought about it..
Kamei lets out a small gasp, eyes darting to the door located behind her. She struggled to get a closer look, but she can definitely see the glowing seal placed onto the door.
To be more specific, an oddly familiar seal.
'I'm home!' her brows furrow, 'Though why the hell would they bring me back here?!'

She now has a location; the Hokori residence. She recognizes the paper plastered on the door since it's the same one used on her while training hand to hand combat. One of her clan members would place a seal in the room while she trains so she couldn't use her technique.
"What should i do? Does Utahime-sensei even know?" she ask herself. For now she hoped that Nishimiya, or at the very least Kamo, would notice her disappearance.
Suddenly, she hears a creak. It came from the door.
Kamei turns to look at whoever it is that thought kidnapping her is fun. Her eyes slowly widen.
"Oji-san?!"
What a pleasant surprise..
Kamei's blood begins to boil, now upset. Now she definitely knew why she's here.
"Glad to see you back home, dear Kamei." the man chuckles, closing the door. He crosses his arms across his chest.
, a former clan leader who just recently stepped down from his position due to a serious injury that rendered him unable to use his cursed technique. He can no longer continue being head of the clan, but still salty that he had to give his position to someone else.
Though the new leader isn't any better too.. It's the same cycle being repeated that both Kamei and Y/N hopes to stop someday.
"Home? This is a kidnapping! Should i report you old man, huh?" the girl ask.
"Oh don't worry! That won't happen." Sato smirks, pleased to see the girl fuming with anger.
"What?!" she exclaims, "You took me from my the college! How the hell is that possible?!"
The old man in front of her laughs. Sato pulls something out of his pocket before showing it to the tied girl.
"A simple excuse slip."
Kamei's jaw almost dropped. Are people really dumb that she, a girl who only attended the Kyoto branch to get away from her clan, would agree to go back to her so called home?
On the other hand, Sato felt like he now has the upper hand.
"I don't mean any harm.. I'm just here to convince you to come back." he says, making Kamei scoff.
"And what will you gain from that? You guys already accepted i left and now you want me to come back?"

Sato chuckles at this, irritating Kamei more. The mere sound of his voice is enough to make the girl gag.
"That's only part of the plan. Kamei, dear, you're only bait for the big fish i'd like to capture.."
The girl winces, feeling the rope around her wrist beginning to hurt. She grits her teeth, already knowing who the fish in question is.
'I need to warn Y/N. Get them here and make them smack the shit out of this old man!'
She needs to trust that someone might go looking for her. Preferably a sorcerer who's strong.
Being a former clan leader, Sato is a force to be reckoned with. Him and Kamei share a technique, but he lost the trust of his hounds. He's useless, yes, though Kamei doesn't want to put Y/N in danger. What if Sato has a trick up his sleeve? What if he actually hurts her cousin?
What does he want and why lure Y/N to Kyoto?
'I should've told Nishimiya to get the drinks herself!'
"So slow! That's why you always lose!"
"Ah, sorry Maki!"
You watch with bored eyes as both of your classmates spar once again. How much time has passed since they started? You haven't been keeping track of time..
Maki, on the other hand, occasionally glances at you while sparring with Okkotsu. She know what's been bothering you. Even Okkotsu has been wondering why you're being extra quiet. Well, what is the reason exactly?
From what Okkotsu can recall from him and his conversation with Maki, Gojo has been having a good time with dumping his work on his students. This time, it's Panda and Inumaki going on a mission to exorcise some low grade curses.
Ah, so maybe that's why?
'Inumaki's gone..!' Okkotsu thought. Unfortunately for him, he is once again knocked down to the ground by maki.
"Ouch!"
Maki huffs, wiping off sweat from her forehead as she points the wood end of her spear to Okkotsu.
"I win again." she says beforeturning to you, "Wanna go next, Y/N?"
You look at her, definitely not paying attention.
"Hm? What?" you ask, "Sorry. Wasn't listening." you say.
"I asked if you wanted to go next." Maki repeats what she said before adding, "Why're you spacing out so much? Is it because Toge's out?"
She raises a brow, and you shoot her a glare as a warning. Okkotsu's nearby, and although he's a little dumb with jujutsu stuff, the boy would be able to easily tell what's going on.
Okkotsu turns to maki, genuinely curious, "Does Hokori like inumaki?"
You briefly freeze on your spot, and Maki would've bursted out laughing if it wasn't for the fact that you'll alctually try to electrocute her if she did tell Okkotsu the truth.
"Don't know. Why don't you ask them yourself?" Maki ask, her tone teasing.
Okkotsu gulps nervously, eyes moving to you. Pink is on your cheeks and you seem to be avoiding any eye contact.
"Ah.. So you do like him.." Okkotsu chuckles.
You turn to him with a frown, "I haven't said anything."
The three of you suddenly turn your heads to the school, hearing someone shouting a name. You raise a brow, standing up.
There Ijichi is, panicking while approaching you first years. He has his phone in hand, waving it around.
"Hokori-san!" he calls,
Okkotsu asks him what's wrong while both you and maki waited for what the man's about to say.
Ijichi, now catching his breath, turns to you.
"A woman named Mikami is a relative of yours, no?"
You answer with a nod. It's Kamei's mother who married into the family. She's also a sorcerer but her own jujutsu revolves around creating and using barriers.
"She wanted me to deliver a message.."
"..A girl named Kamei is missing from the Kyoto college, and Mikami-san is asking for your assistance."
Your eyes widen

If you were to ask someone what they thought of Revian Snow, they would say that she's small. Cute too. Doesn't talk much. Average grades, and hard to find in a crowd, though you'd think that someone with her looks would be more noticeable. She also plays the popular VRMMO's for some reason, but doesn't like to interact with others too much, even online. In short, she doesn't stand out too much. She likes it that way—After all, it's much easier to keep a secret when nobody's looking for one. If you enjoy my work, please consider supporting me on Patreon. It's a great help to me, and a very good motivation to do better, and more. I hope you continue to enjoy what I write!

Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
