"Daddy bear, stop it." I giggled and glared at him in the mirror, but he just kept on suckling and nibbling my neck. I just finished my shower and successfully put on my pants, but I can't wear my shirt because Stef kept on popping off the buttons.
We were supposed to have a dinner date tonight but my sweet daddy kept me in his arms the moment we reached the penthouse of his hotel. I even sacrificed my lips just to be able to shower alone, because I know what will happen if he joined me. Well, I guess having swollen lips from too much kissing is something I can't complain about.
I know that Stefan has been holding himself back. The moment we agreed to start over, he kept himself at a distance. He refused to touch me more than necessary because he will devour me if he does.
When he told me that he will sleep in his office, I was shocked and burst into tears. Stefan had no choice but to sleep beside me, as we snuggled through the night. It was a very peaceful sleep for me, but I doubt if that was the case for Stefan. When I woke up, the sheet beside me was still warm and I heard the shower running and the muttering of curses by my patient daddy.
I smiled and shook my head. I won't refuse him if he wants to do it, but I want to see how much he can hold on. Apparently, not that long.
"Baby. I missed you so much," he rasped in a sultry voice and licked the column of my neck, my left hand grabbed his hair and brushed it softly. I arched my body when his scorching mouthing transferred to the sensitive spot behind my ear. His arm encircled my waist while his free arm rested on top of my tummy, sending delicious tingles downwards. "Daddy bear...we're late for our reservation...hmm..."
Stefan claimed my mouth and all of my protests flew out of the window. He turned my body and picked me up, my legs locked around his waist and my arms wrapped around his broad shoulders.
He thrust his tongue roughly and rubbed his hard shaft against my leaking member. The friction and the delicious sensation got me moaning in his mouth as he continued to devour me. I missed Stefan too. It was hard for me not to touch him, even if he was at an arm's length. Several days have passed since we decided to start over, but it was painful for me not to be able to touch and feel him like I used to.
I want to feel his arms around me, his gentle kisses, his soft touches... I missed him so bad. Even if we are both under the same roof. Yes, Stefan still dotes on me heavily, but it feels like there was a line. A limit. That he's not supposed to touch me until we're official.
I never imagined that I would yearn for someone like this. That I would want to feel their presence, literally. I cupped his face and kissed him back with equal fervor, his soft touches and tender kisses earlier were enough to light the fire inside me.
I gasped and panted when Stefan let go of my swollen lips, his green eyes clouded with so much desire was fixed on my parted mouth. His breathing was ragged just like mine, and his hands on my ass are sending gentle squeezes. I pressed a soft kiss on his forehead and smiled. "I missed you too, daddy bear. So much."

He grinned and gave me a peck. "I'm sorry, baby boy. I almost got carried away. Do you still love me?" He asked playfully but an unreadable emotion flashed his eyes subtly.
I pinched his cheeks and dropped five light kisses on his lips. " Silly Daddy. I love you. Nothing and no one will change that."
He breathed a sigh of relief and his gaze cast downwards when he felt my hard member. "A quickie?" He smirked naughtily and wiggled his brows up and down.
I giggled and ran my hand up and down his chest. He growled and I licked my lips. "Definitely," I husked and now it's my time to devour his mouth.

The Rose Garden

"Wow. Just wow." That was all I could say when we finally reached the venue for our dinner date. Stefan chuckled and kissed my temples, his left arm around my waist possessively.
The staff did not mind if we were late because Stefan owned the hotel. This is the hotel where he temporarily stayed before he met me. I was expecting to receive glares and disgusted looks when they saw me with Stefan, but they were all smiles. Some of them were fake, though.
I can feel the envious glares from the women, but I chose to ignore them. No one will ruin my night with Stefan.
The name of the restaurant speaks for itself. It is literally a restaurant in the middle of a rose garden. There were tables arranged beautifully, surrounded by well-trimmed lilac shrubs for privacy. Other customers are still visible and you can enjoy the view as you eat. Cobblestones were laid as pathways, and the open roof just made it more romantic, as million twinkling stars decorated the dark sky. Each table has a candlelit set up for two.
The small bulbs and the Spanish lanterns all around the area just made the place cozier and more romantic. I turned to Stefan and stared at him in so much awe.
"Who designed this place? This is so elaborate and complicated. The rose garden, the shrubs, the lighting, the romantic atmosphere... I mean, wow! We can even see the overlooking view of the city. So cool!" I bounced excitedly and I creased my forehead when he frowned. "Daddy bear? Did I say something wrong?"
He gritted his teeth and exhaled sharply. Then his expression went soft and shook his head. "Don't mind me, my love. I was just... pissed."
I tilted my head in confusion. "Why?"
He pulled me closer, his hands on my sides. He looked heavenwards and then his gaze returned to me. "You were happily praising... my brother. I got pissed," he mumbled in what seemed to be a childish tone that made me gasp.
"Seriously?" He nodded apologetically. I guffawed and buried my face in his chest, my shoulders bouncing up and down. Stefan just groaned and hugged me, his chin on top of my head.
"I knew this would happen. I shouldn't have told you," he muttered sulkily and I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing. We were attracting attention so I pulled away from him and smiled.
"I love you, daddy bear." He smiled softly and kissed my forehead.
"I love you too, baby boy. Let's eat?" I nodded and he led me to a table that has an overlooking view of the city.
The entire building was made of glass, so everything was visible. Kind of like a greenhouse but more elegant, romantic, and enchanting. I feel like I'm transported to another world. "Baby... stop admiring the room," he whined again and I chuckled.

I leaned against my chair and folded my arms. "You should be proud. You have an amazing resto."
He groaned and sighed. "That's true, but it pisses me off."
"Come on, daddy bear. It's my first time going out since mom and dad passed away. I'm just enjoying myself."
He bit his lower lip nervously. "Sorry. Am I ruining your fun?" He asked hesitantly and I shook my head. I placed my elbows on the table and rested my chin on top of it.
I grinned and giggled softly. "Nope. I am enjoying this a lot more because you're here. This would be a normal restaurant without you so..."
His eyes twinkled and he laughed a little. I noticed how the women turned their heads to appreciate my handsome daddy. Fine, ogle all you want, but you can't have him. Stefan is mine.
A waiter approached our table and Stefan placed our orders. "Baby, anything you want?"
"Do you have gelato?" I bet they don't have one. Being a fancy restaurant after all.
The waiter glanced at me apologetically and was about to shake his head when Stefan spoke. "Of course we have, baby boy. Right?" He turned to the waiter and the poor man nodded furiously.
"O-of course we have, sir. What kind of flavor do you want?" The waiter cleared his throat and tried his best not to break down against Stefan's glares.
I reached for his hand and mouthed, 'Behave.' He rolled his eyes and nodded. I turned my attention to the waiter who was about to pee his pants and smiled. "I want mango and vanilla. Thank you."
"Got it, sir. Your orders will be ready in 30 minutes." The waiter bowed and almost ran to the kitchen. I glanced at Stefan who was muttering under his breath and I arched my brow curiously.
"You don't offer gelato here."
"Yes, we do," he proudly answered and kissed the top of my hand.
"I won't mind it, daddy bear. We can just go out tomorrow to have one."
He shook his head. "No. I have capable staff. They can make one for you. As much as possible, I want this to be a perfect night for us. I haven't been able to invite you out for a fancy date since we've met." His voice is laced with sadness and regret.
I got on my feet and stood beside him, then spread my arms open. He buried his face in my stomach while I carded his hair softly. "Every night with you is perfection, Stefan. No amount of fancy dinners and gifts can top my precious moments with you."
He lifted his head and his glassy eyes almost made me choke my sobs. "Fuck. You really know how to make me weak, baby," he breathed out and grabbed my nape, then crashed his lips against mine.
The gasps and murmurs from the crowd had me tensing, but Stefan squeezed my nape and rubbed my side, urging me to relax. I closed my eyes and submitted fully to the wonderful sensation that Stefan provides, my hands resting on his shoulders.
Before everything got hot and heavy, I ended the kiss with a peck, despite Stefan's groans of disappointment. I chuckled and went back to my seat. "Later, daddy bear. I'm starving. For food." I immediately added when I saw the naughty glint in his eyes.
He bit his lip, trying to hide his smile, and stared at me with so much amusement. "Sure, baby. Sure."
"I mean it. I'm hungry." I countered with a pout, and his teasing smirk faded.
"Seriously?" I nodded. "Fuck. Wait here. I'll check our orders." Before I could protest, Stefan got up and took long strides toward the kitchen area.
I sighed and smiled softly. He's still sweet as ever. I scanned my eyes around the room and admired the way it was designed. The atmosphere was cozy, romantic, and comfy. The soft glow from the lanterns and bulbs, decorated with vines to make it look like an enchanting forest added to the restaurant's charm.
The sweet smell of the roses wafting in the air, and the cold breeze carrying the smell of pine trees were so relaxing. I love it here. Not to mention the overlooking view of the city that looks like a sea of stars. "Do you like what you see?"
"Yes, I do. I--" I creased my forehead and sat straight when someone sat down across me. "Who are you?" I glanced at the kitchen area to look for Stefan but he was nowhere to be found.
The stranger leaned against the chair and sighed. "I'm glad that you like the place. Stefan's design was the worst. He wanted a more modern design, suitable for businessmen--"
"Shut up. You don't have the right to badmouth Stefan. If that's all you have to say, leave." I ordered in a cold tone, my jaws tight, and my hands clenched, trying to hold my anger. No one is allowed to slander Stefan. He is the most hardworking man I have ever met. I can't let a mere stranger say such nonsense about my daddy bear.
"Hey. Relax. I was kidding," he chuckled and held up his hands in retreat, the way his eyes crinkled seemed oddly familiar. I frowned and relaxed my fist, feeling a slight sting on the inside of my palms.
I gasped when I noticed blood sticking on the edge of my nails. The stranger cursed and stared at me with wide eyes. "Fuck! Stefan will kill me. Fuck. Why the hell is your palms bleeding?!"
He swept his eyes around in frantic and was about to escape when he was pushed down on his seat by Stefan, my daddy's eyes fixed on my palm, as he gripped the shoulders of the stranger tight. Stefan's jaw clenched when I winced at the sudden sting.
"Fuck you, Chris. I was just gone for a few minutes and Ollie got hurt already. What did you do?" Chris flinched when Stefan dug his nails into the former's shoulder. Stefan's dangerous tone sent shivers down my spine.
He looks... hot. Shit. Stop it, Ollie. Stop fantasizing. No matter how sexy he is. Stop it.
"Fuck, lil' bro. Let go. You're crushing my bones," Chris whined and Stefan let him go. Lil' bro? My sweet daddy sat down on the chair beside me and examined the small cuts.
"Does it hurt, my love?" He asked worriedly and kept on blowing my palms. I smiled and gave him a quick kiss. His jaw dropped and I giggled. "Naughty boy," he said with an amused smile.
"I'm fine, daddy bear. This is just a small cut. No need to worry."
"See? It was nothing serious, Stef. Yet you almost crushed--"
"Shut up, Chris!" Both Stefan and I bellowed, Chris shutting his mouth, while Stefan and I chuckled in awe.
Stefan kissed my palm and caressed my face. Just like this, it feels as if we are in our own bubble, away from the chaos and complexities of the world. "Are you sure? Just tell me if it becomes unbearable for you, okay?" He eyed my palms again in worry and sighed. I nodded and smiled.
It was just a small cut and he was already acting like this. How much more if he saw how I was beaten to a pulp by Bryce. I bet my sweet daddy could kill. "Is my baby hungry?" I nodded.
"Don't worry. The food is ready. It'll arrive in five minutes. Can you still wait?" He asked softly, and I nodded again and beamed.
"Of course. Thank you, daddy bear." I kissed his cheeks and he hummed in appreciation. I slid my arm around him and rested my head on top of his beating heart. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and I giggled when he kissed the top of my head.
I heard Chris whine but shut his mouth when Stefan glared at him. "I asked you to watch over my baby, yet he was hurt when I returned. What the hell did you do, Chris?" Stefan's voice is filled with irritation so I kissed his throat.
"Calm down. I'm okay," I assured him when he glanced at me. He nodded hesitantly and took a deep breath, then turned his attention back to the frowning Chris. I get it. That's why Chris looks familiar. He is Stefan's brother. "You're brothers, yet you were badmouthing him," I creased my forehead and Chris flinched at my accusation.
Chris let out a hollow laugh and was about to get up when Stefan spoke. "Were you bragging about this restaurant again? For the nth time, my design was better than yours. It's just that, half of the board was so smitten with you. It's my hotel yet I can't even design it freely." Stefan sighed and arched his brow.
"Hey, no fair. Let's be honest, my design was better. Who would want a serious atmosphere in a restaurant? People would prefer this kind of romantic place," Chris reasoned as he gestured to the entire room with a proud smile. "Even Oliver loves it," he added and winked at me.
I frowned and embraced Stefan tighter, then threw a glare at Chris. "I don't like you. You kept on badmouthing my daddy bear." Chris widened his eyes and gasped. Stefan tensed and narrowed his gaze at his brother.
"Hmm." Stefan arched his brow and smirked. "Wait until Reeve finds out that you stole his designs because the woman you were pursuing back then liked Reeve. Am I right?" Stefan revealed. I blinked and gasped in disbelief.
"Petty. Chris is so petty," I exclaimed and he shook his head furiously. Stefan chuckled and glanced at me with twinkling eyes.
I'm proud of you, baby boy, he mouthed, and I giggled.
Chris groaned and folded his arms, then snorted. "Both of you are so mean." He narrowed his eyes at Stefan. "And you, lil' bro. I did you a favor by--
"You badmouthed daddy."
"--ooking out for Oliver--"
"My baby got hurt."
"--you owe me one! Stop cutting me off!" We burst into laughter when Chris exploded and stood up, then stomped his foot.
So unbelievable. An attractive man donning an Armani suit was throwing a tantrum like a child. I think he's a few inches taller than Stefan. Chris also possessed those green hypnotic orbs that surely run in their family.
"Sit down, Chris, or I'll tell Reeve what you did. Just be thankful that he has not been able to visit this branch," Stefan scolded his older brother and Chris obediently sat down.
When he saw me looking, he pouted and then eventually smiled. Gosh, he can make a woman weak in the knees with that smile. He sat straight and fished something from his pocket.
He held out his hand to me. "What?"
"Give me your hand." I frowned and glanced at Stefan. My daddy just smiled and nodded. I removed my arms from Stefan and held my hands out to Chris.
Chris's expression lit up and unwrapped the band-aids he fished out of his pockets. "You always carry that around?" I asked, amazed.
"Nah. It just so happens that I have this. Lucky you," he grinned and carefully put the plaster on my palms.
I hummed and nodded. "Hmm. How many times did this happen today?" I referred to the band-aid situation. He patted my palms softly and leaned in his seat.
"Actually, you're the fourth. So... lucky you. That's the last of my supply," he answered casually and I guffawed.
Stefan also stifled his laugh and buried his face in my neck. "Wow. Smooth."
Chris nodded proudly and smiled. "Always works on the ladies."
"That's quite an amazing feat if you encountered three women and all of them happened to need a band-aid, don't you think?"
Chris crossed his legs and shrugged. "Well, what can I say? I'm awesome."
Stefan cleared his throat and wrapped his arms around my shoulder. "Don't believe him. He just carries band-aids around because his crush is clumsy. He makes sure that his beloved won't die of blood loss. Pretty overdramatic, if I may add," Stefan explained with a soft chuckle.
I gasped and cupped my face. "That's so sweet, Chris!" I exclaimed and stared at him with so much awe.
Chris grunted and put his elbow on the table, then rested his chin on top of it. "The womanizer narrative was better, Oliver. It makes me look cool," he whined and pouted.
I shook my head furiously. "Nope. I like you better this way."
Chris beamed at me but I tensed when I felt a dark aura emanating from my side. I glanced at Stefan and he was glaring at his brother sharply.
I hitched a breath and immediately dealt with the situation. I grabbed Stefan by the neck and kissed him. At first, he was not responding, but when I moved my lips, he deepened our kiss and his large hands cupped my cheeks and craned my neck just so he could have more access to my mouth.
I parted my lips and Stefan wasted no time in thrusting his expert tongue that got me melting. I didn't even notice that our food was being served nor the muffled gasps and murmurs from the crowd. None of that seemed to matter. All I cared about at that moment was Stefan and the way he made me feel good through his kisses.
I was the one who ended the kiss despite my daddy's growl of disapproval. His face was scrunched in displeasure and the glint in those naughty eyes was hypnotizing me to give in and let me do whatever he wants. Instead, I just dropped a few more pecks on his lips until I saw his dashing smile again.
There he goes.

Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
