He opened his eyes and a smile formed on his face.

"Baby....you're okay"

"I'm fine, come with me"

He found himself at the roof. He frowned.

"What are we doing here?"

The door opened and Enriqué came out followed by a young man wearing a french maid costume.

"This is the twink. Marry him"

"No...you're dead. I killed you" he says and turns to Benedict who collapsed and fell to the ground, a bullet hole on his forehead.

"You caused him pain! If it weren't for you Benedict would still be alive"

"No i....i love him"

"Ha! You love him? Then why couldn't your love protect him"

He took a step back while shaking his head.

"I love him....i wouldn't kill him"

"And yet you did! Murderer!"

"No...no"

The railing snapped making him fall off the roof. He could see his father looking down at his falling body.

"Murderer!"

"NO!" He yelled and opened his eyes. He took deep breaths composing himself. Then the door opened revealing Sarah, guilt washed over him.

"How are you holding up?" She asked.

Shouldn't she be scolding him?

"I....I'm so sorry"

Sarah shook her head.

"It's okay, Benedict is okay and so are you. That's all that matters"

He couldn't believe this.

"I called your mother and she's taking the first flight from Mauritius to come here"

"Sarah....the person who-"

"I know....Benedict told me that your father was stalking him. I was on the process of filing a restraining order against him but you erased him from the face of the earth"

"How did-"

"A body was found today in an abandoned apartment building....i suspect it's him correct?"

He nodded. She sighed

"I can't believe I'm going to say this but, I have a friend in the forensic lab. He can switch the bullet with a different one"

"My father was owing some gang leader money. I know their symbol, we can frame them"

"Okay....Benedict must never know of this"

"Your heartbeat is a little higher so I suggest you take a few minutes to calm down and we'll check again later. Your sonogram however suggests that you're expecting a baby-"

"No!" The couple yelled at the same time. The nurse took the hint.

"I apologize, I'll see you again in two hours"

Skye sighed and got to his feet.

"I know right....what should we do now?" Prince asks.

"Nothing. This is their storyline and we cant help them but to be there for the two."

"You're right...what do you think the media is saying about all of this?"

"I don't know....something like Skye's brother shot over anti LGBTQ+ or something"

They sighed.

Xavier was laying on his bed. After shooting Enriqué seven times on the chest, he used the last one on his own thigh. Which is why the officers were in the room taking his statement.

"And did you see this man?"

"No but before I passed out i saw that he was wearing many rings on his right hand."

"I see....well the ballistics show that you were shot by your own gun"

"That's because he had snatched it away from me. The man had just shot my father was i wrong to pull out my own weapon?"

"not at all...thanks for the help. We'll contact you if anything pops up"

He sighed once the door closed. Twelve seconds later Sarah came in all smiles.

"Benedict is awake"

Skye frowned.

"Princess Adeline? Sounds like a 15th century princess"

Prince laughed at the remark.

"How about Nadine"

"I like the name but its too basic for a princess"

"What about the names you chose then?"

"How about, Jacqueline Aurora"

"Princess Jacqueline Aurora Quimby....that's a mighty name"

Skye smiled in pride.

"Thanks. What if its a boy?"

Prince smiled.

"Prince Samuel Quimby the first"

"Ouuu the first made it more royalty"

They entered the waiting room to find it empty.

The door opened and Xavier was wheeled in by Sarah. The two males locked eyes.

"I think we should give them some privacy" Jonny says before leaving with his mother.

"Benedict-"

The smiled at each other.

"What did the doctor say?" Xavier asked.

"It's just a flesh wound. I'll be fine"

He smiled hearing that.

"I thought I lost you back then"

"I just remember being so shocked I didn't even feel the pain"

Xavier held his hand.

"It's okay. You're alright so there's nothing to worry about."

"What about your wound? How did you get it?"

"My dad....we....we fought"

Benedict gave him a sympathetic smile.

"I'm sorry"

"It's okay"

Xavier kiss their joined hands and smiled at Benedict.

"I love you"

Tears prickled his eyes. He couldn't believe that he almost died just like that. He blinked the tears away and smiled at him.

"I love you too. So much"

Meanwhile the rest of the family watched through the small glass window on the door.

"They're so sweet it's giving me cavities"

Sarah smiled. She knows what she did was wrong but....she couldn't bare the fact that her ship would sink. Xanedict for life!
