3:27am

Skye was awoken by a sharp pain on his stomach. He sat up on the bed cradling his belly, he took a few breaths but with each breath he took, the pain increases.

"Prince!"

His eyes shot open in panic.

"What happened? Are you okay?"

Skye shook his head, the tears in his eyes making Prince's heart ache.

"Let's take you to the hospital"

He picked Skye up and ran downstairs, his cries of pain echoing through the silent palace. A few guards ran up to them to offer help.

"Get the car and open the gates, i want two cars following us, one at the front and one at the back" he instructed.

"Yes your majesty"

Luke and Star then come out of their room running in panic.

"What's going on?" Luke asks.

Prince closed the door once Skye was in the car seat, he turned to his parents.

"I think something is wrong, we're going to the hospital"

They watched the cars speed out. Luke held his wife tightly.

"Let's hope everything is fine"

7:14am

He paced back and forth in the hospital hallway. The nurses occasionally bowing as they walked past him.

"Where is he?" Someone asked running towards him, it was Sarah.

"They're still taking tests, the doctor said he ate something that didn't sit well with the baby, like an allergic reaction"

She grimaced.

"Oh God. Will they be okay?" She asks.

Prince shrugged. He didn't know and that's what worries him the most. Sarah could see the stress in his eyes. She offered him a hug which he accepted.

"I'm sorry, i didn't think about how you felt about this whole thing. How are you holding up?" She asks.

He shook his head.

"I don't know....i don't want to lose neither of them"

"They'll be fine, i know they will"

Just then the king and Queen also arrived. The four of them stood in awkward silence.

"You must be Skye's mother, we still haven't properly met" Star says holding out a handshake.

Sarah took it with a smile.

"The name is Sarah, i wish we could've met in happier times but unfortunately" she says ending with a sad sigh.

"No worries, we're pleased to meet you Sarah" Luke says.

Just then the door to Skye's room opened as the doctor came out.

"How are they?" Prince asks.

"They'll be fine, i suggest that Skye should take it easy from now on and sex should be limited to two to three rounds a day"

Everyone turned to Prince. Sarah wanted to laugh.

"Jesus son, what are you on? Viagra?" Luke says shaking his head.

Prince sighed with a flushed face.

"We hear you doctor, may we see him?"

"Of course"

They opened the door and found Skye sitting up on the bed watching TV.

"Hey" he waved.

"Don't hey us, do you know how much we were worried" Sarah scolded walking towards him.

She placed the back of her hand on his forehead.

"No fever that's good, are you hungry? Do you want some soup?"

"I can use a bottle of water"

She nodded and pulled the king and queen with her as they walked out leaving the boys alone.

"Prince?.....are you okay?"

"Skye I'm so sorry"

He frowned. Why was he sorry?

"Why? The doctor says it can happen to anyone"

Prince shook his head and held Skye's hand. He never thought that there was a possibility of him losing Skye and his unborn baby, how would he survive?

"I'm sorry you're in this position because of me....if i could have held back maybe we-" he stopped when he felt Skye's fingers on his lips.

"Prince, we are a couple and having sex is just normal. The doctors said it was an allergic reaction, the sex part was just to avoid me from being tired"

He sighed and nodded.

"Nonetheless i just don't want to lose you"

Skye smiled. He pecked his lips.

"You're stuck with me, trust me on that"

"Prince was thinking of buying Skye a car" Luke says. Sarah nodded.

"That would be nice, make sure it's a compatible one for him and no sport cars."

Star smiled. To her, Sarah was one of those people who you would want to be in your life, she seems like a friend you never knew you needed.

"I think we should have dinner, we can come to your place if you want" she says making Sarah smile.

"I'd like that, however I'll be alone, my other two sons have dates"

Luke chuckled.

"Then we won't be ashamed to finish three bottles of wine in front of them" he joked making the two ladies laugh.

The door opened with a low creak. He looked inside the room and walked inside closing the door behind.

The duvets were ruffled and he could still smell Prince's scent on the pillow.

He made his way to the closet, where Prince's clothes were organized in color. He opened the first drawer he saw, it was full of socks.

"Nah, i want the undies" he whispers opening drawer after drawer. He gasped when he found what he was looking for.

"Oh my God" he says pulling the underwear out of the drawer, a red one caught his eye. It was silk and had a black rose on the thigh.

"This will do just fine"

"Prince I'm fine i can walk on my own" he protested. The adults behind the couple laughed softly at the scene before them.

"Can't risk it, from now on you're not allowed to walk" Prince declares.

Skye sighed. It seems he will just have to deal with it.

"As you wish"

Sarah smiled witnessing that her son was in good hands. She does admit that she was a little reluctant to let Skye at the palace but now, she's happy that Skye is happy.

"We look forward to dinner Sarah and hopefully tomorrow you can drop by at the palace for brunch and maybe catch up with Skye" Star says smiling warmly.

She was about to bow but Luke stopped her.

"We're practically family now, no need to bow" he says. She smiled.

"Well then, i also look forward to dinner, bring a bottle of wine or two, i know there's a secret stash in that big ol'house." She says making them laugh.

"It's a deal"

She watched the royal cars drive off. She sighed with a soft smile.

"I hope you're happy Skye"
