It's almost lunch and at the palace the royal family were at the garden.
"I'd like to make an announcement" Prince says standing up.
They smiled at him.
"I just want to thank Skye for giving me a second chance, and I promise that you'll now live a good life when I'm around. Thank you for sticking with me again and most importantly, thank you for our soon to be born baby"
"Cheers!"
They clanked their glasses together, Prince sat down and received a quick peck to the lips from Skye.
"You're a great boyfriend and i know you'll ace being a dad"
Somehow the word boyfriend didn't sit well with Prince. He wanted more but nonetheless he still smiled.
"And so are you"
Edward rolled his eyes. He cannot wait to leave this lunch and go back to his room.
"I also have an announcement" Luke says. He stood up holding star's hand.
"We have decided to retire in the following month. The new king has been crowned so all you have to do is hold your first press conference announcing our retirement and the start of your reign."
Prince was shocked. While Skye felt like things were moving too fast.
"Can you atleast push back retiring for a few years?"
His mother shook her head.
"We want to still enjoy our retirement and not wither away being in a home"
"I think it's a great idea, Prince has to start now to have a longer reign and leave a great impression on the kingdom" Edward chimes in.
He locked eyes with Skye and gave him a wink. Skye could tell something was off about Edward. His smile is just....sinister.
"Skye? What do you think?" Luke asks.
He was shocked. They want his input?
"Uhm....i think it's best to retire now and have a chance to travel the world and stuff." He shrugs.

Prince sighed with a nod.
"Okay then"

"Benedict you know no one is normal right?" She says, her son laying down on the couch with his head on her lap.
"I know.....the thing is.....I'm scared"
"What is scaring you honey?"
He sighed. He sees the way people look at LGBTQ+ couples, the hate, the stigma, the discrimination. Was he ready for that?
"The negativity that comes with it.....how will i feel free to walk around the town holding my partner's hand knowing people are judging me"
She patted his head softly.
"In this world you can never please anyone. All you have to do is live your life the way you want and enjoy the moment. Life is about the moments, if you miss one you'll be incomplete"
He closed his eyes. He knew his mother was right but on the other hand.....
"I don't want a dick up my ass, Skye said it hurt"
Sarah laughed to the point of crying.
"You can always be the top" she winked.
He blushed. Maybe that can work. But Xavier was giving him alpha male vibes.
"I'll think about it"

"It's time for Skye to reveal himself"
"Excuse me?"
The king chuckled.
"Not in that way, he has to make his first public appearance with you"
Prince nodded. It was indeed time.
"Let's hire some photographers to take staged pictures of us in a cafe or the mall"
Luke pondered for a moment. Staged photos? Would it work?
"I'll see what I can do. But don't tell Skye, i know he'll be nervous and it will stress him out"
"Deal, see you at dinner"
He watched his son walk away and he sighed.

"When are Veronica and Mercy coming back?"
He frowned.
"Who are they?"
Skye sighed and swatted Prince on the shoulder.
"The maids that helped me while I stayed here"
"Oh....i don't think they'll want to come back"
Skye pouted.
"Please bring them back, it would help me to not feel like a stranger in here"
Prince sighed. That pout will forever be his weakness.
"Okay babe I'll bring them back" he says in defeat. A kiss on the lips was his reward.
"Thank you baby"
A smile formed on the Prince's face.
"Baby?"
"Why? Can't i call you that?"
"No it's okay, do it more often"
Skye sat on his lap kissing him again.
"What about Daddy?" He whispers into Prince's ear. He smirked when he saw the Prince's skin go up in goosebumps.
"I'd like that"
"Would you like this?"
He moaned as he felt Skye's hand go inside his pants.
"I'd like that very much" he says, his voice hoarse.
Skye smiled seeing the effect he had on this prince. He kissed him again.
"You're so big baby"
He squeaked when he was thrown on the bed. Prince ripped his shirt open, the buttons scattering all over the room.
"You're going to regret saying that"

He knocked on the door and heard a few shuffles and curses. The door opened.
"Edward? Why are you so red?"
Edward cleared his throat.
"I was working out, did you want anything?"
Luke nodded and pushed the door open but he was stopped.
"Let's just talk here" Edward says. His father sighed.
"How are you holding up? Things have been a littke hectic and i don't want you to feel neglected"
Edward shook his head.
"I'm fine and i understand that the crowned Prince comes first so I'm doing okay"
Luke nodded and patted his son's head.
"You can come talk to me if you want to, I'll leave you to it"
Edward watched his father walk off. He rolled his eyes as he closed the doors.
"Idiot"
He got back in bed where Prince's briefs were on the bed. He smirked.
"Let's pick up where we left off"
