In the afternoon, Skye was at the garden with Prince. The two were sitting under a tree enjoying a snack.

"So i was thinking of going to your next doctor's appointment with you" Prince says shocking Skye.

"Really? That would be so sweet"

Prince smiled and rubbed Skye's belly.

"To think we have six more months to meet our baby, Can't we fast forward?" He complained, he just wants to meet his child.

"You just have to be patient, also there's something I have to tell you"

The seriousness made his happy mood damper.

"What is it?"

Skye sighed. He knows what he is about to do will cause tension amongst the royal family and he doesn't want that but on the other hand, this issue was making him feel stressed out.

"It's Edward....he says I'm framing the paternity of our baby on you, basically he's saying you're not the father of this baby"

"What?....he-......I'll have a talk with him"

It was ridiculous at this point, how can his own brother say that.

"Just....hear him out first, hear his reason"

"Skye i will not let my brother say that about you or my baby, he should be punished"

Skye sighed. This is why he wanted to keep his mouth shut.

"Fine but promise me you and him will never fight because of me"

Prince looked at the young man in front him. How can Skye be so forgiving? He sighed.

"I hear you babe"

A smirk formed on Skye's face.

"Babe?"

Prince nodded.

"Yes, babe. Problem?"

"No no, just wasn't expecting it"

He squeaked when the prince leaned in. Their eyes locked.

"I just want you to be mine" Prince whispered.

Skye felt his face was heat up. Why was he feeling nervous all of a sudden?

"Prince.....i think we should stop" he whispered making Prince frown.

"Why? Do I make you.....uncomfortable?" He asks. He knows they were moving too fast. Was it because Skye doesn't fully trust him?

"It's not that.....I have to pee"

"Oh"

He watched him walk off into the palace. He sighed.

"And now to have a talk with Edward"

Knock.knock

The door opened after two minutes. Martha smiled seeing Sarah.

"Skye's mom, how may I-"

"Save it little girl, i want you to tell me something" Sarah says barging inside.

She doesn't want to believe that her son's only friend can leak such important information about him to the press.

Martha could sense the hostility of her friend's mother. What could've caused it?

They sat down on the couch.

"Martha.....was it you who leaked that Skye and Prince were dating during university?"

Martha thought about it for a moment.

"Few days back a reporter came to the school and asked Skye's former classmates how he and the Prince ended up together, i just told the man that they dated nothing more nothing less"

Sarah sighed. They were lucky that reporter didn't twist the story into a scandalous one.

"I see.....i apologize for invading your privacy and judging you so harshly, I'm just..."

"You're worried Skye will be bait for the media. i understand but you have to trust him and his decisions, every bird has to leave the nest at some point"

She nodded and gave Martha a smile.

"Do you want to come over for dinner?"

Martha giggled and nodded.

"I'd love to"

Edward was in the royal vault, his mother wanted an antique necklace so he volunteered to look for it.

The door opened as Prince came inside the room.

"Edward"

He didn't even turn around to face his big brother, he just sighed.

"Yes brother?"

Prince suddenly felt irritated.his brother's ignorance was annoying at this point. He yanked the teen by the shoudler turning him around.

"What did you say to Skye?" He asked. Edward scoffed.

"I said what had to be said. You cannot allow that boy to take advantage of you"

"Are you serious? Skye would never lie to me"

Edward placed the jewelry box in his hands on the table.

"For a newly crowned king you sure are dumb. Look at it from my side. You fall for this boy after a day and now he's mysteriously pregnant"

"Skye is special....he's not like other guys and i know for sure that the baby inside him is mine and if I hear that you are troubling him again, I'll banish you"

Edward gasped. His own brother would banish him because of a stranger?

"Prince! I am your brother"

"Then act like it!"

The statement took him by surprise. Act like it?

"When have i not supported you? I remember standing by your side when you told our parents that you are gay! I remember going in your place to send Skye flowers! And that's how you thank me? By insulting my support for you? Wow"

Prince rolled his eyes,his brother has always been the dramatic person in the family.

"Look I'm thankful for everything you did i really am, but now there's a child involved and i don't want him or her to grow up in a family where there's no peace, especially when my own brother didn't like the said baby"

Edward flinched. Prince thinks he doesn't like the unborn baby?

"I don't hate that baby, i hate Skye!"

He splashed water on his face and smiled at his reflection. Maybe telling Prince about Edward would make things a little better for his mindset. What's left now was for him to adjust living in this huge palace.

He glanced at his stomach.

"Home sweet home baby"

Prince was baffled. Edward hated Skye?

"But why?" He asks.

Edward sighed.

"Because.....he stole you away from me Prince, i miss you and all you think and talk about is Skye this and Skye that"

It was true and that made him feel guilty. He hugged his little brother.

"I'm sorry Eddie but you could've just told me instead of spreading nasty rumors about him."

He nodded and hugged him tighter.

"I'm so sorry....and I'll apologize to Skye"

"I'd appreciate that.... i love you Edward"

Edward smiled.

"I love you too"
