《Alpha's Little Luna》Chapter 70

Chuckling to myself, I walk back to the house from the training facility.

After a couple of rounds Willa finally started getting the hang of things again. She definitely didn't take it easy her last time around.

The shredded cloth hanging off my shoulders is all that remains of my shirt. She may not be able to access her wolf right now, but she figured out how to use her claws.

I quite liked this shirt too.

Opening the door I smirk, slamming it behind me. "I'm back!"

It's funny how I fuck with people so much.

"Sebastian," I hear an annoyed hiss come from the office. Don't know why someone's in such a pissy mood.

Smiling I peek my head around the door of the office, finding Koda giving me a threatening look. He clicks the pen he's holding against his teeth rapidly.

"Why're you all-" I emphasize my hands in an exploding manor not being able to find the words to describe him right now.

My eyes glance to the open chair before I walk to sit in it. Flipping the sweat ridden hair off my forehead in the process.

"You look terrible," he breathes looking back down to his papers on the desk.

"Like I said-" I replay the same hand movements as before.

He really must not like me today.

"Willa and I just sparred a few times, she obviously took enjoyment in shredding my shirt."

He chuckles without looking up to me.

I roll my eyes before taking off the remanence of my shirt, balling up the material, and placing it in my lap. It's not even a shirt anymore, why wear it?

"Where's Silas?"

Koda sighs, still not looking up to me. "Upstairs, napping."

My eyes narrow, it's polite to make eye contact with the person your conversing with and he's doing the exact opposite. "And why are you not up there with him?"

He sets his pen down harshly on the desk, making a smirk raise on my lips. Getting on Koda's nerves is my favorite pass time.

"Because I have things to do down here, okay? We done yet?" He groans while rubbing his eyes.

Taking a deep breath, my eyes flick over his face as he starts to write things down on papers again. His eyes glancing over the writing, his occasional lip bites.

Sighing I sit back in my chair, changing positions so I'm almost laying down.

"You know what I've been thinking about?" I whisper slightly. My head resting on the back of the chair.

"What Sebastian?" He groans.

"Our kiss."

Lazily my eyes blink over to him as his head shoots up, making panicked eye contact. Before I can say anything else, he speeds to the doors closing them hastily.

"You're kidding, right?" He stands stiffly, looking down to me. "Grey is the only person that knows what happened that night, you have no right mentioning it so loudly while people walk around. Or while my mate could be listening."

Rolling my eyes I rest my chin in the palm of my hand. "It happened before you met Silas, I'm pretty sure you have a pass."

I watch as he clenches his fists before shakily letting go of the pressure. Sure, I didn't intend to piss him off this much. But here we are.

It's sort of been a forbidden topic between us since the day it happened.

"Sorry, it's just been weird Koda," I tell him. "You know, just talking to you is-" I groan rubbing my temples.

This is not how I expected my day to go. First fighting against my stress ridden best friend, then talking to my other best friend about our makeout session in the woods.

This day is splendid, it really is.

"Weird," he completes for me sighing.

Nodding I run my hand down my shorts getting the nervous sweats off of my skin. Pesky nerves.

I mean it's just that I look at Koda, like really look at him. Every aspect of his face, and definition of his body.

Then all the sudden I'll get this urge to just pin him against that tree again, and kiss him. Wondering what would've happened if people didn't come towards us.

But then I snap out of it and don't say anything because I sound like an obsessive lunatic who cant figure themselves out properly.

That's pretty much how it's going.

"We're friends Koda," I nod. "But again we don't know how to act around each other anymore. "

He walks over to me, before he's right in front of me. He leans against the desk, almost sitting on it.

"I feel like we're trying to forget," he sighs before making eye contact with me once more. "But we haven't even acknowledged what happened since then."

Nodding I sit up, rubbing my hands together. If he wants to acknowledge it. Then let's do just that. "You kissed me."

"And then you kissed me back." He breathes crossing his arms.

"And then I pushed you away and made you feel like shit." I'll have to admit that it wasn't one of my best moments. I was confused about everything, hell I still am. But that doesn't mean I had to make Koda feel terrible like I did that night.

"Yeah, you did," He chuckles.

Reaching out before my head processes what I'm doing, I grab onto his hand. "I'm sorry Koda. I don't know if I've ever told you that, but I am now." I say weakly while looking up to him. "I was an ass, I didn't consider your feelings when I told you all those things. I was just confused, I still am if I'm being honest."

He puts his hand on top of mine smiling softly. "I know Seb and it's okay. We both made mistakes that night, not just you."

Slowly I smile, feeling the enormous burden looming over me for so long, dissipating. Finally, we can go back to normal. Not tread on water around each other.

"Great," I pull my hand from his before leaning back in my chair. "Now we can go back to being friends who aren't awkward about a make out session."

I wink jokingly and Koda rolls his eyes. Ah, this is refreshing.

"Make out session?" Koda's head shoots up his eyes drifting past me to the door. My own eyes go wide as I stand up turning around.

Willa and Grey stand in the door frame. Willa's jaw open so wide you think it could touch the floor.

Then Grey is standing behind her, looking smug. Would it be wrong of me to hit that expression off his face.

Koda opens and closes his mouth like a fish, feeling frazzled by the unwelcome fears overhearing our conversation.

So I guess that just means I have to take this into my own hands. Dandy.

"Oh yeah," I nod feeling a smirk raise upon my lips. "The night of the Harvest Festival Koda and I had a hot make out session in the woods. I'm telling you full tong-"

Suddenly my head reels forward at the hard hit to the back of my head. I rub it tenderly as I glance back to Koda who's face is red with anger. Or maybe embarrassment.

It's hard to tell.

"It was before I met Silas. We were dumb and confused," he finishes as I continue to rub the back of my head.

"Sebastian does that mean your-"

"I don't know," I cut Willa off dropping my hands to my sides. "I have no idea what to classify myself so, to be continued."

Smirking, I watching her nod her head slowly trying to put together all the information that was told to her. Meanwhile, my eyes glance to Greyson who looks like he's about to explode.

My head tilts slightly, as I watch him amusingly. That's only until he finally erupts with laughter. I smile, dropping my head.

"I'm sorry, I know this is supposed to be serious but-" he cant finish his sentence as he starts laughing again.

"You knew didn't you?" Willa turns around smacking his chest slightly. His response is him barely nodding while continuing the hysterics.

Giving Koda a slap on the shoulder, I walk towards the door. Though, on my way out I grab Willa's wrist yanking her with me.

Greyson is too busy losing his shit that he doesn't know I pulled Willa out the door. "What're we doing?" She asks following behind me.

"Going into town, we're out of alcohol and I really need some right now."

"Why am I coming?"

Stopping in the kitchen, I smirk grabbing the keys that are hanging next to the door. "We haven't had time to just hang out since you've been back. So, this is perfect."

"Seb," Willa says as I open the door to leave. I turn around listening to whatever she's going to say. "Don't you think that you should put on a shirt before we leave?"

I open my mouth slightly, looking down to my bare torso. I almost forgot that my shirt was completely shredded.

"Yeah, I guess I should. Thanks for that by the way, I liked that shirt."

She laughs softly as I run back upstairs.

Quickly throwing on a random shirt, I rush back down stairs. "Alright so I was thinking I could dri-"

Cutting off my words I look up after buttoning my shirt, only to see Greyson dangling the car keys as he stands next to Willa.

"I'm driving," he smirks.

Reaching forward I try to snatch the keys from him, but he pulls them back quickly. I was hoping it would just be Willa and I since we haven't gotten to catch up since she's gotten back.

But now I'm just going to third wheel. "Last time I remembered I didn't invite you," I smile bitterly before reaching for they keys again.

He puts them in his pocket as I do so. "You really think I'm going to leave her side after everything."

"I'm going to be there Greyson," I scrunch my eyebrows. He's acting like I'm going to abandon her so she can get kidnapped again.

"We all can go, it will be fun," Willa speaks up sensing the tension rising slowly. "Right Seb?" Bitting the inside of my cheek, I give a nod to satisfy her.

"It'll be just dandy," I huff. Third wheeling here I come.

Sighing, I sprawl myself in the backseat. Resting my cheeks on my knuckles my eyes glance between the happy couple.

Rolling my eyes I watch as Grey reaches over holding Willa's thigh as he drives. She snickers quietly, blushing simultaneously.

My eyes narrow as I glance between them once again. Now that I think about it, they were back at the house quicker than I expected.

If they were trying to get Willa's wolf active again, that would've taken all day. Yet they came back in after an hour tops.

Greyson's hair was all tousled when they walked in, their faces flushed.

They didn't-

I cough suddenly at the realization putting a fist over my mouth. "What's your problem?" Grey ask raising an amused brow.

My cheeks puff up as I try to keep in my laughs, but I couldn't stop it. This is just too funny.

Willa turns around as she hears my uncontrollable fit of laughter. "You guys didn't!" I exclaim.

"Do what?" She asks, her eyes slightly getting big noticing that I caught on.

"You guys had sex in the facility when I left, didn't you!"

To solidify my guess Willa's face turns red, as she turns around quickly in her seat. Those dirty little things.

Grey snickers through his nose, shaking his head.

Ah, this is priceless.

Getting out of the car, the three of us start walking into the grocery store. I smirk glancing down to Willa who still refuses to make eye contact with me.

"So, why'd you come with me anyways? You could've just stayed home," I then look up to Grey.

Greyson could've just easily told her to stay at home with him, but instead he cane along.

He shrugs, looking to me over Willa's head. "Thought I should get something too."

I gasp sarcastically placing a hand over my chest. "The Greyson Hudson is drinking?"

He rolls his eyes as we step through the doors. Greyson's an absolute ball when he's drunk, this should be fun.

Jogging in front of them, as we get inside I turn around to face them while walking backwards so I can get my point across. "So I was thinking that we could get fruit to make some good drinks, you know?"

"Wait Sebastian-"

"Yes, I know it's a good ide-" my words get cut off as I run into a body since I wasn't watching where I was going. I hear all of the stuff that was in their hands fall to the ground that I didn't even notice the initial contact. "Shit, I'm so sorry." I bend down helping them get everything.

"No, no you're okay. I wasn't paying attention either," looking up finally I feel my heart jump out of my chest.

Her soft almond eyes looking at me happily, her long dark brown hair falling messily over her shoulders, not to mention her smile.

That's it, she's the one. She's my "Mate," I whisper holding various fruits in my arms.

"I'm sorry, did you say something?" She tucks her hair behind her ears glancing up to me after sitting her items back into her carrier.

But no matter what I cant stop looking at her, I don't even know if I could say any more words if I try. She's breathtaking.

A sudden kick to my back makes my head whip behind me to see Greyson scrunching his eyebrows. "Say something to her." He tells me.

Willa smiles largely grasping onto Greyson's arm giddily. "Breathe," she nods slowly.

What do I say? Where do I even start? Does she think I'm creepy cause I haven't said anything? "You okay? You're kind of man handling my oranges," she snickers ducking her head so she can make eye contact with me.

Once I make eye contact, a smile instantly grows on my face. "Yeah, yeah," I clear my throat when it cracks, and handing over the goods I collected. "I was just testing out the oranges."

"Testing them out?" She nods her head, giving me an amused side eye.

She has spunk, I like it.

"What? Do you not squeeze your oranges? That's a shame, you could've been poisoned without your knowledge this whole time," I click my tongue as we stand back up. She eyes me, smirking slightly. "But don't freight, you're safe now. Your oranges aren't poisonous, I checked."

She nods slowly before she starts to laugh. I could just melt right here with the sound of her laugh. Knowing I'm the reason behind it makes my chest all warm and fuzzy.

"Thank you for that," she smirks before glancing at Willa and Greyson who gave us space yet I can still feel their eyes over here. "I'll let you get back to your friends-" she trails widening her eyes as she waits for my name.

"It's Seb-Sebastian," I stutter slightly.

"That's a unique one," she smiles covering it up with the back of her hand. How I just want to take that hand and move it away.

"Unique, is that a compliment?"

"Maybe," she flicks her eyes up to mine challenging.

Smirking I push up my glasses, "And you are?"

"I'm Vera, it's nice to meet you Sebastian." How I want her to say my name more than just once. It sounds so good when it rolls off her tongue.

"What a unique name," I smirk holding out a hand for her to shake.

She smiles, taking my hand in hers and shaking it. I try not to let it show how good it felt for her hand to be in mine. The electricity pulsing through my skin.

Woah, is all I have to say.

"Is that a compliment?" She mocks, letting go of my hand.

Smiling, I shake my hand slightly to get the feeling to go away.

It doesn't.

"Maybe," I smirk.

She relays my expression, nodding her head. "I'll see you around, Sebastian."

"Wait!" I say reaching out, which makes her turn back around to me. "Can I at least get your number?"

Nice Sebastian, how smooth you are.

She takes a deep breath, but then she walks back to me. "I don't usually do this, but you did test out my oranges. How else would I thank you," she squints her eyes mischievously as she pulls out her phone.

I chuckle doing the same.

After we exchange numbers, we say our goodbyes again and I find myself watching her until the last second she was out of vision.

It only takes a second for Grey to come over pushing on my shoulder in excitement. "Holy shit, dude."

"Holy fuck," I say breathlessly still staring at the last point I saw her.

"You guys work so good together," Willa says excitedly grabbing my hands. She jumps up and down, as my eyes slowly slide to her.

I sigh, finally letting a smile to take up my face. "Now we all have to get drunk to celebrate."
