《Alpha's Little Luna》Chapter 63

Gasping I sit up quickly, pressing a palm to my forehead.

All I remember is Willa healing me, and as soon as she passed out, the room flooded with people. Then as Bahee came up to me, his elbow struck my head.

Now, I'm here. Wherever here is exactly.

Blinking my eyes, I squint them as the sun beats onto my face.

Wait, the sun?

Looking around I finally see that I am sitting on frost ridden grass, the cold breeze blowing through my hair. Im out of the holding area. I'm outside.

Slowly I stand, feeling my head pound in objection as I use a surrounding tree to help me keep steady. If I'm outside I can try to track back to the territory and get help for Willa.

Once I start to walk, my steps pause.

"Silas," I whisper as his scent starts to seep into my nose. He's here? They let him go to?

Turning around I see his white hair sticking out from bushes that he was thrown in. "Silas!" I yell fumbling to his position.

I'm quick to pull away the leaves that his is engulfed in, shaking his body. "Silas, wake up." I tell him hopefully. "Wake up!" I yell shaking him even harder. Though when his eyes flutter, relief washes over me. "Thank god," I sigh pulling him to me.

"K-Koda?" He asks softly just starting to wake up.

"You're okay. I got you," I quickly pull him out of the shrubbery. I use my body to support his as we start to walk slowly. "We're going to be okay, I'm getting us back to the territory."

"Did he hurt you? D-Did Bahee do anything to you?"

I shake my head, "It's not important. I'm okay now and that's all that matters. Okay?"

Other than the small limp, Silas looks almost unscathed. Thank god.

"Who's there?" Someone in the distance yells.

My steps stop, along with Silas' as we look at each other. We're still a ways from the territory, why is there someone way out here.

I resort to keeping my mouth closed as I motion to Silas to follow me behind a tree.

Stay hidden until they pass, and then we continue.

Pressing my back to the tree I hear at least three sets of footsteps start to surround us. This causing me to hold tightly onto Silas as he grips onto my shirt firmly.

"Just stay put until they pass," I link him.

My head whips to the side as I hear footsteps directly across from us, a couple meters away.

But when I look, my heart drops. "Sebastian," I say under my breath as I watch him look around.

He didn't hear me.

I smile, my hold on Silas slipping.

"Sebastian," I say louder. This time his head looking directly to me.

Once our eyes connect, happiness engulfs me.

In a split second we run to each other wrapping our arms around one another desperately. "Oh my god, you're really here. You're okay," Seb says gripping onto my shirt as if he let go I would disappear.

"I'm okay," I laugh smiling into his neck.

Sliding my hands off of him, my smile grows as I see his own.

"Silas," Seb says smiling. He holds a hand out urging him to come closer.

Silas is quick to limp over, grinning.

We're home, we're finally home.

"Where's Willa?" Seb asks in between his laughs.

As quick as my smile came, it falls.

I knew Bahee wouldn't let her go. I didn't even think that he would let Silas and I go.

They never told me their plan with Willa, and I guess that's understandable considering the objection I would've shown.

Walking back to the territory, I chose not to tell Sebastian everything that happened.

All I said is that she wasn't here with us. I never said who has her, where she was, what was happening.

All of that deserves to be told to everyone, everyone should know what has been done.

Sighing when I see the pack house in sight, Silas is starting to need more support while he walks.

It's good we're back.

By the time we get close to the house, I'm starting to pant from the amount of energy I'm using to keep Silas on his feet. I can't take this much longer. If only Sebastian didn't have so much supplies to carry.

Though when I see three familiar faces run out of the house, I feel relief wash over me.

"Koda!" Faye screams jumping to me. Her arms wrapping around my head tightly. I smile largely, while gripping onto Silas with one arm and her with my other. "It's good seeing you again Silas," her smile widens as she cups his cheek.

Though when I see her eyes stray from Silas, looking around hopefully. My smile drops.

"Where is she?" Greyson speaks up from behind Faye and Eli.

Faye closes her mouth as Grey took the words from her.

Though when I finally lock eyes with him, guilt takes up my whole body.

I did this, I took her, I'm the reason why she's not here right now.

"She's uh-she wasn't dropped off with us," I whisper looking away. I can't look at him much longer or I'll lose it.

So instead I grab Silas' hand linking mine within his own. I did this for comfort, but also to distract myself.

"Bahee had us," I whisper. "He has Willa."

"Wait, you're telling me that she's been on their territory the whole time?" Greyson suddenly yells. I jump looking up, but I find that he's staring to the person next to me.

To Sebastian.

"Greyson we looked everywhere! I don't know what else to tell you!"

"They're not on territory," Silas quickly butts. This making all of our eyes go to him. "If it was on the territory I would've recognized it." He finishes in a hushed tone. "They knocked us out getting to the location, and taking us out of it. We don't know where they're at."

Grey growls quietly, as he runs a hand down his face. "All of this just doesn't make sense. Where they are, what they're doing-not to mention that I'm still wondering how they managed to take all of you without any of us knowing."

I bite my lip watching as Grey crosses his arms, shaking his head repeatedly. Oh god he has no idea, I don't think any of them have a inkling on how Willa was taken.

What I did.

I feel my arms start to shake as I try to hold Silas up. "Hey, let me get him," Eli tells me. He quickly wraps an arm around Silas leading him away from me.

This then resulting in me hugging myself, trying to keep my emotions in without Silas here to keep me calm.

"Koda?" Grey questions stepping closer to me. "What's wrong?"

I shake my head pressing my hand to my mouth. "I did something bad Grey." My eyes flit up to him.

"What do you mean?"

As much as I don't want to say anything, they have a right to know. After everything, they need to know the full story.

"On that day, when we were all taken, Silas and I were in the training facility. Then before I knew what was going on, Silas was taken from me." I shake my head looking to the ground. "Bahee and his men held me down as they carried Silas out, and I didn't know what else to do Greyson."

"Koda?" He urges uneasily.

"I had no choice," I rush out covering my eyes with my hand. "Bahee told me that if I didn't do what he said, he would kill Silas. And I couldn't lose Silas. I can't lose Silas."

"Holy shit," Sebastian breathes next to me. My eyes snap to him watching as he takes a step away from me. Disgust evident on his features.

"Please, please forgive me. I had to take he-"

Before I had time to finish, my neck was squeezed causing my words to abruptly stop. A cough wheezes through me as my back is pushed to a surrounding tree.

"You were the one who took her?" Greyson pulls back and slams my head on the tree behind me. His grip around my neck tight and deathly.

I watch in fear as I see tears run from his golden eyes. I betrayed him. His beta, betrayed him.

"I'm sorry, I had no choice. If you put yourself in my shoes and Willa was the one being threatened-" I think him knowing that I wouldn't be able to get a single word passed through my crushed throat.

"No, I would've thought of a different way Koda!" He screams.

My eyes lawl to the back of my head, as he slams my skull into the tree once again.

I force them to look forward again, but I wish I didn't.

I wish I didn't see the disappointment written on everyone's face. I wish I didn't see Silas struggling against Eli's tight hold. I wish I didn't see Greyson's eyes turning back to blue telling me how livid he really is.

Though just as soon as I feel my lungs start to ache with the loss of air, I'm released.

Coughing, my knees smack the ground as I hold onto my neck tenderly. "You're my best friend, Koda." Grey grounds out between his teeth. "I'm not going to kill you, but that doesn't mean I forgive you." He spits.

Taking in a deep breath, I look up to him as I lean back against the tree I was just against.

"T-That scar," Sebastian whispers. "It's new."

My eyes blink lazy as my head grows foggy from the loss of oxygen. My shirt must've ridden up as I sat back.

Sebastian steps forward looking at it more carefully making sure that he wasn't mistaken. "Bahee stabbed me with a wolfsbane laced knife," I link them watching as their gazes grow surprised and concerned. It's almost impossible to survive something like that.

Well unless you have a Luna with you.

"Willa healed me, she saved my life." Grey pulls his eyebrows together confusingly, before looking to Sebastian in question. "Now I intend to save hers."
